Abstract

This study aimed to design a competitive strategy to improve the competitiveness of STT Simpson. This study was a research and development. The data were collected through observation, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and interviews. Competitive strategies of STT Simpson are 1) Differentiation strategy: STT Simpson can offer theological education class in the evening to optimize the facilities owned for the churches in Ungaran and its surrounding; 2) Cost advantage strategy: STT Simpson has an advantage in some types of costs but STT Simpson still have to adjust the tuition course to prevent the gap with another STT and keep maintaining its competitiveness; 3) Focus strategy: STT Simpson perform its marketing by focusing on youth of the church around GKII; and 4) Marketing communication strategy with various forms of marketing communications utilizing the technologies esvolving by offering characteristics possessed.

Abstract

Abstract

Conflict is a problem that is being faced in Indonesia. A peaceful way is needed to bring peace to a multicultural nation. From the analysis of various biblical literature and texts there are several peace values, including education for peace must guide students to accept themselves, peace education provides guidance to avoid bad prejudice, needs to be built understanding and attitudes that respect ethnic diversity, religious differences, different types sex, social status such as poor wealth, and group differences, in an effort to build a path for peace, students need to understand diversity, understand conflict, build an attitude of resisting violence, willingness to start admitting mistakes, and willingness to forgive.Abstrak: Konflik merupakan masalah yang sedang dihadapi di Indonesia. Perlu dilakukan cara damai untuk menghadirkan perdamaian di bangsa yang multi-kultural.  Dari analisis berbagai literatur dan teks Alkitab ada beberapa nilai-nilai per-damaian, antara lain pendidikan untuk perdamaian harus membimbing murid menerima dirinya sendiri, pendidikan perdamaian memberikan bimbingan untuk mengindari prasangka buruk, perlu dibangun pengertian dan sikap yang meng-hargai keragaman etnis, perbedaan agama, perbedaan jenis kelamin, status sosial seperti kaya miskin, dan perbedaan kelompok, dalam upaya membangun jalan menunju perdamaian maka murid perlu memahami adanya keragaman, memahami konflik, membangun sikap menolak kekerasan, adanya kerelaan untuk memulai mengakui kesalahan, dan kerelaan untuk memberi maaf.

Abstract

The learning environment has an important role in the learning process. The environment can be a medium, a place, and also a direct part of the learning process. In the context of Christian education, Jesus is the figure of the Great Teacher who is an example and inspiration in carrying out learning, so the author conducted research to understand the learning environment of Jesus. The research approach used is literature research that seeks various information related to the teaching process of Jesus. The results of the study show that Jesus did His teaching in a political environment, related to geographical location, community environment, culture, and education. In carrying out the teaching process, Jesus used various environments effectively, so that the learning environment of Jesus is an environment that allows meaningful learning to occur. Lingkungan pembelajaran memiliki peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Lingkungan dapat menjadi media, tempat, dan juga bagian langsung dari proses pembelajaran. Dalam konteks pendidikan Kristen, Yesus adalah sosok Guru Agung yang menjadi teladan dan inspirasi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, oleh sebab itu penulis melakukan penelitian untuk memahami lingkungan pembelajaran Yesus. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi pustaka yang mencari berbagai informasi terkait dengan pembelajaran yang Yesus jalankan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada Yesus melakukan pembelajaran di lingkungan politik, terkait dengan letak geografis, lingkungan masyarakat, kebudayaan, dan pendidikan. Dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajarannya, Yesus memanfaatkan berbagai lingkungan secara efektif, sehingga lingkungan proses pembelajaran Yesus adalah lingkungan yang memungkinkan terjadinya belajar bermakna.

Abstract

Researchers focus on the efforts of teachers to improve learning outcomes. Researchers examined the use of e-learning in motivating student achievement on learning outcomes. The influence of student activity on learning outcomes. Student achievement motivation on learning outcomes. The reason for the low quality of student learning makes the author interested in studying this problem. This paper contributes to using e-learning methods, student activeness, and student achievement motivation and can improve learning outcomes. Researchers find a digital-based learning process, the use of e-learning teaching methods in students' achievement motivation towards learning outcomes. The authors see student learning outcomes after using e-learning. Respondents of the study were 35 students who took Christian religious education subjects. The results of the study revealed that independent use of the material received very high scores. Student activeness is carried out correctly and effectively, the highest perceived to be at a mean value of 4.35. Students who take advantage of e-learning have high learning outcomes. The use of e-learning methods, student activeness, and student achievement motivation is implemented correctly and effectively. It was believed to be able to improve the learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the philosophy proposed by Ki Hadjar Dewantara ing ngarsa sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani interpreted using Schleiermacher’s hermeneutics. By doing grammatical and psychological interpretation, the authors explored issues on understanding how the philosophy affected Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s life. It was done by apprehending the background condition, which inspired his vision, thinking framework, and other related thinking concept. Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s vision is an educational concept, which implements local wisdom in the middle of the harsh life of colonialism. The philosophy of Ki Hadjar Dewantara comes from the meaningful local wisdom that both teacher and leader should be in the front performing model or example, in the middle to build intention, and behind to motivate learners/public.

Abstract

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused countless impacts and influences on human life. It disturbs the order of life and macro and micro-economics, drastically and radically changes human cultural and behavioral patterns, and greatly impacts the concepts of church theology, pastoring, and ministry. This study is a descriptive qualitative study on the COVID-19 and normal & abnormal reactions & responses to it. Through this article, the authors observed that the COVID-19 existence has transformed and recorrected the Christian paradigm on 1) ecclesiology, which to date exclusively based on building to the real Church, namely God’s people in the form of house/“tent” churches; 2) digital media utilization in this Society 5.0 era as God’s grace to all humanity. Findings and changes in society through renewable technology are an inseparable part of the pandemic. A dichotomic gap of understanding between science and technology for centuries should be reformulated. New technological inventions and social media created by humans are media in the hands of God that should be utilized by the Church to minister in various categories to improve the quality of ministry and service; and 3) creative and innovative interpretation of threefold responsibilities of the Church: koinonia, diakonia, and martyria.

Abstract

Abstract: Skills are part of the competencies that must continue to be built by leaders, including principals. To be a good leader, values are needed in order to be able to hold onto. Christian leadership values ​​based on the Bible need to be presented to enrich the scientific treasures of Christian education. The author conducted a library research to discuss the topic of principals' skills in the perspective of Christian leadership. In carrying out their duties as leaders, principals need to have conceptual skills as seen in the example of leaders in the Bible. Then the principal must also have human skills because based on the value of Christianity, a Christian leader does not carry out his leadership with an iron fist but rather pay attention to human values. Managerial skills are also an important component in the principal's function as a manager. These skills are basic skills that must also be possessed starting from planning, organizing, moving, and controlling.   Keywords: Skill, Function, Principal, Manager, Christian Leadership   Abstrak: Keterampilan merupakan bagian dari kompetensi yang terus harus dibangun oleh pemimpin, termasuk kepala sekolah. Untuk menjadi pemimpin yang baik diperlukan nilai-nilai yang dianut agar dapat menjadi pegangan. Nilai-nilai kepemimpinan Kristen yang berlandaskan Alkitab perlu disajikan untuk memperkaya khazanah keilmuan pendidikan Kristen. Penulis melakukan penelitian pustaka untuk membahas topik keterampilan kepala sekolah dalam perspektif kepemimpinan Kristen. Dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai pemimpin, kepala sekolah perlu memiliki keterampilan konseptual sebagaimana tampak dalam contoh pemimpin dalam Alkitab. Kemudian kepala sekolah juga harus memiliki keterampilan manusiawi karena berdasarkan nilai kekristenan, seorang pemimpin Kristen tidak menjalankan kepemimpinannya dengan tangan besi melainkan memperhatikan nilai kemanusiaan. Keterampilan manajerial juga merupakan komponen penting dalam  fungsi kepala sekolah sebagai manajer. Keterampilan ini adalah keterampilan dasar yang juga harus dimiliki mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengerakan, dan pengawasan.   Kata kunci: Keterampilan, Fungsi, Kepala Sekolah, Manajer, Kepemimpinan Kristen

Abstract

Fokus utama dalam tulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perubahan Taksonomi Bloom diantaranya perubahan nama dalam taksonomi yang mengambil bentuk menjadi kata kerja, perubahan urutan taksonomi dimana evaluasi dalam taksonomi lama terdapat pada urutan akhir berubah menjadi urutan kelima dan sintesis dalam taksonomi lama diganti menjadi mencipta, dan perubahan sub kategori. Tulisan ini juga menguraikan tentang hal-hal penting dalam revisi taksonomi seperti pengetahuan metakognisi dan tabel taksonomi. Serta manfaat taksonomi revisi dalam belajar bermakna. Taksonomi Bloom menjadi kasifikasi pernyataan-pernyataan yang digunakan untuk memprediksi kemampuan peserta didik dalam belajar sebagai hasil dari kegiatan pembelajaran. Pengaruh taksonomi Bloom lama telah dirasakan sampai saat ini dan memberi manfaat yang sangat berharga. Revisi taksonomi Bloom meliputi perubahan nama dalam taksonomi dari kata benda menjadi kata kerja, urutan taksonomi yang melingkupi perubahan tata letak evaluasi,perubahan sintesa menjadi mencipta.

Abstract

Perkembangan pendidikan diwarnai dengan lahirnya berbagai pandangan yang melandasi pelaksanaan pendidikan. Salah satu tokoh yang mewarnai perkembangan pendidikan adalah Jean Jacques Rousseau. Karyanya yang terkenal adalah Social Contrack dan buku emile. Dalam bukunya, emile, Rousseau menuangkan pemikirannya tentang pendidikan yang kembali kepada alam dalam buku tersebut. Pandangan Rousseau tentang pendidikan diuraikan berdasarkan kelompok umur dan menekankan pada pendidikan yang kembali kepada alam.
