Abstract

Usaha peningkatan produksi pertanian bagi petani masih terkendala dikarenakan penggunaan pestisida kimia secara berlebihan dalam jangka waktu lama, serta kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai  hama dan penyakit tanaman. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan petani mengenai jenis hama dan penyakit tumbuhan, penggunaan pestisida secara 6 tepat dan meningkatkan keterampilan petani dalam mengenal manfaat Trichoderma harzianum dalam budidaya tanaman serta teknologi pembuatan kompos yang mengandung T.harzianum. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan menggunakan metode penyuluhan dalam bentuk ceramah dan tanya jawab, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan Workshop. Perbanyakan T.harzianum skala petani dilakukan dengan menggunakan media jagung. Praktik pembuatan pupuk kompos dilakukan dengan mencampur T.harzianum dengan kompos secara langsung. Berdasarkan hasil tanya jawab banyak petani yang tidak mengetahui penyebab dari penyakit tanaman sehingga pengendalian yang dilakukan pun menjadi kurang tepat, serta kurangnya pengetahuan tentang kandungan bahan aktif pestisida. Maka dari itu setelah dilakukan penyuluhan ini diharapkan petani dapat menerapkan teknologi yang telah diperoleh dan mempraktekkannya pada lahan pertanian. Penggunaan agen biokontrol berbasis T.harzianum dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif solusi untuk mewujudkan pertanian ramah lingkungan yang berkelanjutan di Desa Pendem, Magelang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses supply chain slondok di Desa Kenalan Kecamatan Borobudur Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penentuan lokasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supply chain terdapat tiga aliran yaitu aliran bahan baku, keuangan dan informasi. Proses supply chain terjadi antara pemasok ketela, pengrajin, tengkulak, pedagang pasar dan konsumen. Kegiatan dalam supply chain ini saling berhubungan satu dengan lainnya sehingga tidak dapat berdiri sendiri. Adanya supply chain management yang baik dalam umkm slondok menyebabkan proses pembelian bahan baku, proses produksi, proses distribusi, dan proses penjualan berjalan secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the stages of developing the Plant Biosystematics e-module with the 4-D model (four D model) and to analyze the effectiveness of the resulting Plant Biosystematics e-module in improving problem solving skills in students of the Tidar University Biology Education Study Program. The Plant Biosystematics course studies the description, adaptation, and classification of plants, both high and low levels. The research method used is the R&D Model. This model consists of 4 development stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The object of this research was 60 students of Tidar University Biology Education. The research instrument used was in the form of questionnaires and validation sheets by the validator. Based on data on Problem Solving skills 38, 3% chose the number 5 meaning that in this Plant Biosystematics e-module all 5 indicators have been fulfilled. Based on the development of the e-module by the validator, the results of the material were 80.5%, the presentation aspect was 54%, the linguistic aspect was 24%, and the graphic aspect was 34%. Based on the data above, the development of the Plant Biosystematics e-module can be used as a learning module that can improve their problem solving skills.

Abstract

This research is to study the effect of concentration and various types of liquid organic fertilizer on yield of Edamame soybeans (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) The research conducted in September 2021 until January 2022 in Sidorejo Village, Bandongan District, Magelang Regency with an altitude of 357 m. The research was conducted with a factorial experiment (4 x 3) arranged in a completely randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is concentration of liquid organic fertilizer 0 ml/l, 10 ml/l, 20 ml/l and 30 ml/l. The second factor is liquid organic fertilizer namely liquid organic fertilizer Nasa, Super Garden and Cow Blood Waste. The results show that the application of liquid organic fertilizer with concentration of 30 ml/l still showed a significant effect on plant height, but the difference in concentration didn’t show a significant effect in the number of filled pods each plants, weight of filled pods each plant, number of fresh seeds each plants, fresh seed weight each plant, fresh soybean seed protein content, and weight 100 dry seeds stored. Liquid organic fertilizer from Cow Blood Waste is able to produce the highest plants height compared to liquid organic fertilizer from Nasa and Super Garden but not significantly different on other parameters. There was no interaction between concentration and type of liquid organik fertilizer for all observed parameters.Keywords: concentration, Edamame soybean, liquid organic fetilizer.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of water hyacinth Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) dose and type of planting medium on the growth and yield of green beans. The research was conducted in North Magelang City (380 masl) from November 2021 to March 2022 using a factorial experiment randomized complete block design. The first factor was dose of water hyacinth LOF included 0 ml/l, 10 ml/l, 20 ml/l, and 30 ml/l. The second factor was types of planting medium include soil + rice husk charcoal (M1), soil + rice husk charcoal + goat manure (M2), and soil + rice husk charcoal + cow dung bokashi (M3). The datas were analyzed using Analysis of variace and continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the water hyacinth LOF at a dose of 10 ml/l had a very significant effect on plant height and a dose of 20 ml/l had a significant effect on the number of pods per green bean plant. The types of planting medium were soil + rice husk charcoal (112,5 g/polybag) + goat manure (150 g/polybag) gave the best results for all observed parameters.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe cultivation of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) on sand media as an effort to expand the land is needed to increase the production of shallots. Characteristics of sand media is low nutrient, so it is necessary to add organic matter to increase nutrient on sand media. This study aims to examine the response of the application of PGPR and Azolla.microphylla compost to the growth and yield of shallots on sand media. The research was conducted from January to March 2022 at KP3 Bandongan, Bandongan, Magelang with an altitude of 400 m above sea level. The research method was arranged in a factorial manner in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with consisted of two factors and three blocks as replicates. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova) if they were significantly different, an orthogonal polynomial test was performed. The results showed that the PGPR concentration of 17,04 ml/l gave the best average number of tubers per clump compared to other treatments. The dose of A. microphylla compost and the interaction of the two treatments significantly affected the number of tubers per clump but did not significantly differ on other parameters. The low nutrient content of A. microphylla compost and high rainfall during the study caused the treatment applied to not be able to provide optimal results on the growth and yield of shallot plants. Keywords: compost A.microphylla, sand media, shallots, PGPR

Abstract

Propagation of vanilla plants can be done vegetatively by cuttings. The problem faced was the length of root and shoot growth on cuttings which can be accelerated by giving MSG. Fulfillment of nutrient needs to support the growth of cuttings can be provided through fertilization. This study was conducted to determine the effect of MSG application and type of fertilizer on the growth of vanilla cuttings (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) of one segment of the Vania 1 variety. The research was carried out from January to May 2022 at The Santan vanilla plantation, Karang Tengah, Sumberrejo, Mertoyudan, Magelang Regency. The study was arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with two factors and four replications. The first factor was the concentration of MSG, consisting of four concentrations: 0 ppm, 3000 ppm, 6000 ppm, and 9000 ppm. The second factor was the type of fertilizer, consisting of cow manure and NPK fertilizer. Variables observed included shoot emergence, shoot length, number of leaves, longest root length, number of roots, and percentage of live cuttings. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that mid-base cuttings had a higher survival value than shoot cuttings. MSG concentration had no significant effect on all parameters. The type of fertilizer did not significantly affect all parameters. There was no interaction between MSG concentration and the type of fertilizer on all parameters.Keywords: MSG, cow manure, NPK fertilizer, vanilla cuttings, Vania 1.

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behaviors refer to all health behaviors carried out out of an awareness so that family members can help themselves in the health sector and take an active role in neighborhood health activities. Coronavirus disease-19, known as Covid-19, is a infectious disease. This virus is capable of infecting people of all ages. Covid-19 also has an impact on business practitioners in doing their business. This project included two types of activities: Clean and healthy living behaviors and health and environmental hygiene education. Clean and healthy living behaviors among Slondok business practitioners can be seen from 10 indicators. Participants' blood pressure was tested for free during health education, and environmental hygiene education, including the methode of eracdicating mosquito larvae. The clean and healthy living habits among slondok business practitioners is intended to keep them healthy and able to sustain their production  and also  increasing  the revenue for their families in the face of the Covid-19 pandemies.

Abstract

Pemupukan merupakan salah satu aktivitas penting dalam budidaya ubi kayu. Ironisnya aplikasi pupuk anorganik yang berlebihan ternyata berdampak negatif pada pertumbuhan tanaman. Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk menggantikan pupuk anorganik. Namun, penggunaannya pada tanaman ubi kayu belum pernah dilaporkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis dan interval waktu pemberian POC yang tepat untuk meningkatkan hasil tanaman ubi kayu varietas ketan (Manihot esculenta Crantz.). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan sebagai blok. Faktor pertama adalah dosis POC darah sapi (0, 10, 20, dan 30 ml/tanaman), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah interval waktu pemberian POC darah sapi (3 minggu sekali, 6 minggu sekali, dan 9 minggu sekali). Data pengamatan diuji signifikansinya menggunakan analisis sidik ragam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kandungan unsur hara POC darah sapi yang belum mencukupi kebutuhan tanaman, sifat POC yang mudah tercuci dan menguap, penyiraman yang tidak optimal, volume pengaplikasian yang terlalu sedikit, dan rentang waktu pemberian yang terlalu lama sehingga menyebabkan terganggunya perkembangan umbi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian POC darah sapi pada penelitian ini belum mampu meningkatkan hasil tanaman ubi kayu.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the ant sugar farming business and analyze the income obtained from processing the ant sugar business and analyze the feasibility of the ant sugar processing business in Trenten Village, Semen Hill, Candimulyo District, Magelang Regency. The basic method used in this research is a case study. There were 17 respondents taken using purposive sampling with the consideration that these farmers processed ant sugar. The results show that IDR 8,631,488.76 and the average income obtained was IDR 10,047,093.59. The results of calculating the R/C ratio for farming ant sugar products are 9.5, where this number is more than one, so the business undertaken is worth pursuing. Meanwhile, the B/C ratio itself is found to be 8.5, which is more than one, so the business undertaken is worth pursuing. Keywords: Farming, feasibility, ant sugar, INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalis usaha tani gula semut dan menganalisis pendapatan yang diperoleh dalam pengolahan usaha gula semut dan menganalisis kelayakan usaha pengolahan gula semut di Dusun Trenten Desa Semen Kecamatan Candimulyo Kabupaten Magelang. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Responden yang yang diambil sebanyak 17 orang dengan purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan bahwa petani tersebut melakukan pengolahan gula semut. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Rp 8.631.488,76 dan pendapatan rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 10.047.093,59. Hasil perhitungan R/C ratio usaha tani produk gula semut yaitu sebesar 9,5 di sini angka tersebut lebih dari satu, maka usaha yang dilakukan adalah layak untuk diusahakan. Sedangkan B/C rationya sendiri didapatkan 8,5 angka tersebut lebih dari satu, maka usaha yang dilakukan adalah layak untuk diusahakan. Kata kunci : Usahatani, kelayakan, gula semut,
