Abstract

The education related to the ability in providing social support through PFA is still rarely applied and limited. PFA can provide social support that is needed by the individuals while dealing with the initial stressful situations so they will not experience psychological disorders. In its development, PFA can be applied to a wider context such as in school. Teachers are important figures in providing assistance and giving services to students who have experienced traumatic events. This study is aimed to see the effectiveness of PFA training through synchronous learning on teacher self-efficacy and knowledge. The research method used is one group pre-post design experiment and performed online using Zoom Video Conference. The subjects in this study were middle and high school teachers totaling 37 people (N=37). The data analysis method used is the Wilcoxon matched-paired signed test. The result of this study shows that the subjects experience an increase in self-efficacy after attending PFA training at school. Meanwhile, the level of PFA knowledge in schools for teachers do not increase. PFA online training offers easy access for many people and learning flexibility.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to adapt Wang and Wang’s Artificial Intelligence Anxiety Scale (2019) into the context of Indonesian culture and language. The research involved 222 respondents, consisting of 89 males and 133 females, aged between 15 and over 35 years old. The adaptation process followed six stages: (1) initial translations by translators with different backgrounds, (2) synthesis of the translations into a single version, (3) back-translation by native speakers of the source language, (4) content validation by an expert committee, (5) testing the pre-final version on relevant subjects, and (6) submission of documentation for evaluation. Reliability testing was conducted using Cronbach’s alpha, while logical validity was assessed with Aiken’s V and construct validity using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The results indicated that the adapted scale had high reliability, with a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.916, and adequate validity, with an Aiken’s V value greater than 0.50. The confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated a good model fit, with an RMSEA value of 0.066, CFI of 0.938, and TLI of 0.927. The Indonesian version of the Artificial Intelligence Anxiety Scale is deemed valid and reliable, making it suitable for use in Indonesia

Abstract

Mental health has an important implication for every teenager's life aspect, such as an ability to take action in education, friendship, family relation, and how they will go through their next life journey. School is an ideal place to help teenagers develop their mental health conditions, and the teacher is an essential factor as the service provider. This study aims to explore the mental health knowledge of counseling teachers to help students achieve a well-being condition. The research design and analysis techniques were a qualitative survey by distributing open questionnaires online to counseling teachers in junior and senior high school. The result of the research showed that the knowledge of participants about mental health in the school was less comprehensive. Most of the responses explained the emotional aspect (35%), whereas other aspects of knowledge (cognitive, habits, self-control, and social) are lower. Besides, knowledge about mental health in the school showed 26% of participant responses related to knowledge from the health aspect, whereas knowledge from being and loving aspect was lower. Another finding of this research was that most (57%) cases often handled by the participant are teenage naughtiness cases such as bullying, smoking, and stealing. Recommendations from this research are we need psychoeducation training and mental health for counseling teachers in the school.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between neuroticism and phubbing among university students and explored the moderating role of gender. Guided by the stress and coping model and personality theory, a cross-sectional survey was conducted with 236 Indonesian students (53% female; 85.8% aged 20–23) using validated measures: the Generic Scale of Phubbing and the IPIP-BFM-25 emotional stability subscale. Descriptive analysis showed that phubbing scores were notably right-skewed, with a mean of 53.2 (SD = 17.94) and a higher median of 66.0. Neuroticism significantly predicted phubbing behavior (Estimate = 2.369, SE = 0.120, 95% CI [2.133, 2.605], p < .001), while gender showed no main effect (p = .120) and did not moderate the neuroticism–phubbing relationship (interaction p = .093). Independent t-tests and Mann–Whitney U tests confirmed no significant gender differences in either phubbing or neuroticism levels. These findings suggest that neuroticism is a more robust predictor of phubbing than gender, likely due to differences in emotional regulation. Given the use of convenience sampling and a cross-sectional design, the generalizability of findings is limited. Targeted interventions focusing on emotional coping may be effective in reducing phubbing, especially among individuals high in neuroticism.

Abstract

Proactive personality is an essential disposition determining students’ readiness to enter the workforce, so a validated instrument is needed to measure it in Indonesia. This study aimed to adapt the Proactive Personality Scale–Short Version (PPS-SV) into the Indonesian language and test its validity and reliability in a student population. A total of 232 students (61 men, 171 women) from a university in Bandung participated in the study. The age range of the participants was 19–25 years old (\textit{M} = 21.7; \textit{SD} = 1.12). Construct validity was tested using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), while reliability was estimated using Cronbach's alpha and McDonald's omega. The CFA results confirmed the one-factor structure of the PPS-SV and demonstrated good model fit with the data (CFI = .964, TLI = .954, GFI = .994, RMSEA = .069, and SRMR = .036). The scale also showed excellent internal consistency ($\alpha$ = .901; $\omega$ = 0.902). Thus, the Indonesian adaptation of the PPS-SV was judged to have strong psychometric properties, including good construct validity and reliability. This scale can therefore be recommended for measuring proactive personality in students in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Cyberstalking Scale has been used in various countries to measure cyberstalking behavior that is increasingly widespread in society, but there is no research that examines the psychometric properties of the Cyberstalking Scale in Indonesia. This study aims to look at the psychometric properties of construct validity with CFA and gender measurement invariance of the Indonesian version of the Cyberstalking Scale. Participants consisted of 306 male and female respondents aged 18-22 years who actively play social media. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling technique. Evaluation of the internal structure validity of the Indonesian version of the Cyberstalking Scale includes factor structure, composite reliability, and measurement invariance between genders tested using confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, and confirmatory multigroup factor analysis. The results show that the cyberstalking scale is valid and reliable (α = 0.922) In addition, the cyberstalking scale is also invariant at the strict stage.
