Abstract

Suicide is a global epidemic phenomenon that is the third most common cause of death in the world. However, not many studies have focused on developing an intervention that specifically targets symptoms of suicidal ideation. Suicidal ideation is seen as part of a depressed condition. The purpose of this study was to validate a cognitive-based mindfulness program to reduce suicidal ideation in people with depression. The study was conducted through internal validity tests using expert judgment and external validity tests using the small-n AB design method, which involved three participants (n = 3). The visual inspection analysis was performed on the mean, trend, and level. Analysis of repeated measurements showed adecrease in suicidal ideation in all participants. This program has the potential to be developed as a companion to conventional interventions and can be an alternate activity to fill the waiting time for individuals to get the main intervention

Abstract

Loneliness is a condition where there is a difference between the relationship that an individual has with the relationship that the individual expects, both in the quality and quantity. This study aimed to determine the overview of loneliness in the Indonesian millennial generation. Research on loneliness is important due to the large impact and the large population of millennials in Indonesia.This study was conducted on 168 individuals who belong to the millennial generation. Millennials are individual who born in the period of 1982-1999. The research method used is questionnaire research, where the questionnaires are distributed online. The questionnaire used is a loneliness scale which was compiled by the researcher himself with reference to Weiss (1972) theory. The approach used in this study is quantitative, and the analysis used is descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that the level of loneliness in millennial generation was in the moderate category, the type of loneliness in the unclassified category. This study also shows that gender provide a more diverse overview of the level and type of loneliness in millennials.

Abstract

The education related to the ability in providing social support through PFA is still rarely applied and limited. PFA can provide social support that is needed by the individuals while dealing with the initial stressful situations so they will not experience psychological disorders. In its development, PFA can be applied to a wider context such as in school. Teachers are important figures in providing assistance and giving services to students who have experienced traumatic events. This study is aimed to see the effectiveness of PFA training through synchronous learning on teacher self-efficacy and knowledge. The research method used is one group pre-post design experiment and performed online using Zoom Video Conference. The subjects in this study were middle and high school teachers totaling 37 people (N=37). The data analysis method used is the Wilcoxon matched-paired signed test. The result of this study shows that the subjects experience an increase in self-efficacy after attending PFA training at school. Meanwhile, the level of PFA knowledge in schools for teachers do not increase. PFA online training offers easy access for many people and learning flexibility.

Abstract

Employees are required to build harmonious relationships between workers in order to create work productivity. However, in reality conflicts between employees still occur frequently. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and Schadenfreude in empoyees. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between self-esteem and Schadenfreude. The subjects in this study were employees who worked in an agency or company with an age range of 18 years and over and working for more than 1 year. Data collection techniques will use the self-esteem scale and Schadenfreude scale. The data were analyzed using pearson's correlation product moment in the SPSS version 26 software program. Based on the results of the analysis, the correlation coefficient values was -0.624 and p=0.000. (p≤0.050). These results indicate a significant negative relationship to self-esteem and Schadenfreude. The coefficient of determination R2 is 0.390, which means that self-esteem has a relationship of 39% to Schadenfreude while the remaining 61% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan program preventif terhadap gangguan kesehatan mental terus bertambah seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah permasalahan psikologis siswa. Kondisi tersebut diperparah dengan rendahnya self-efficacy guru. Salah satu peluang dalam menghadapi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan mengembangkan program preventif yang mudah dan sederhana melalui pemanfaatan teknologi internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan validasi tata laksana psychological frist aid menggunakan synchronous learning dan melihat efektivitas dalam meningkatkan self-efficacy pada guru. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design melalui virtual synchronous learning. Partisipan pada penelitian ini merupakan guru yang berjumlah 24 orang (N=24). Metode analisis data menggunakan wilcoxon matched-paired signed test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pelatihan tata laksana psychological firs aid melalui virtual synchronous learning valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy guru dalam memberikan dukungan awal kepada siswa yang mengalami gangguan psiklogis. Penggunaan virtual synchronous learning dalam pelatihan tetap dapat memberikan manfaat ketika dapat membangun komunikasi interaksi dan memberikan ruang untuk diskusi. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) terhadap afiliasi diri pada mahasiswa. Partisipan 7 orang dengan afiliasi diri rendah-sedang (N=7). Metode yang digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain between subjects with control group. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan skala afiliasi diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Mann Whitney, Visual Inspection pada tes pengetahuan. Hasil analisis Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan nilai Z sebesar -.943 dengan p = 0.345 (p>0.050). Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan afiliasi diri antara kelompok eksperimen berdasarkan hasil skala afiliasi diri. Namun, hasil visual inspection pada skala tes prestasi menunjukkan kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor pemahaman tentang afiliasi diri Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan pada intervensi tidak selalu berjalan beriringan dengan peningkatan variabel psikologis yang menjadi target intervensi seperti afiliasi diri.

Abstract

Mental health has an important implication for every teenager's life aspect, such as an ability to take action in education, friendship, family relation, and how they will go through their next life journey. School is an ideal place to help teenagers develop their mental health conditions, and the teacher is an essential factor as the service provider. This study aims to explore the mental health knowledge of counseling teachers to help students achieve a well-being condition. The research design and analysis techniques were a qualitative survey by distributing open questionnaires online to counseling teachers in junior and senior high school. The result of the research showed that the knowledge of participants about mental health in the school was less comprehensive. Most of the responses explained the emotional aspect (35%), whereas other aspects of knowledge (cognitive, habits, self-control, and social) are lower. Besides, knowledge about mental health in the school showed 26% of participant responses related to knowledge from the health aspect, whereas knowledge from being and loving aspect was lower. Another finding of this research was that most (57%) cases often handled by the participant are teenage naughtiness cases such as bullying, smoking, and stealing. Recommendations from this research are we need psychoeducation training and mental health for counseling teachers in the school.

Abstract

SMK PGRI 1 Sentolo merupakan salah satu sekolah kejuruan yang memiliki tantangan dimana sebagian besar siswa belum memiliki perencanaan karier yang matang. Ketidaktahuan terkait perencanaan karier menyebabkan siswa menjadi kurang termotivasi untuk menunjukan usaha maksimal saat kegiatan belajar berlangsung ataupun ketika menjalani praktik kerja lapangan (PKL). Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka tim pengabdi memberikan pelatihan terkait perencanaan karir bagi siswa SMK PGRI 1 Sentolo. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi, gambaran, dan perencanaan yang matang di dunia kerja nantinya. Selain memberikan pelatihan, pengabdi juga memberi pelayanan pendampingan konsultasi bagi siswa yang ingin membuat perencanaan karir. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan melalui 3 tahap, yaitu tahap koordinasi dan sosialisasi program, tahap asesmen dan implementasi, tahap evaluasi dan monitoring. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah siswa lebih termotivasi dalam belajar dan semakin siap untuk merencanakan karirnya setelah lulus sekolah. Hal ini terlihat dari antusias siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar di kelas maupun dalam melaksanakan PKL atau praktik kerja lapangan. Abstract. SMK PGRI 1 Sentolo is a vocational school that has challenges where most students do not have mature career plans. Ignorance regarding career planning causes students to be less motivated to show maximum effort during learning activities or when undergoing practical field work (PKL). Based on this problem, the service team provides training related to career planning for students of SMK PGRI 1 Sentolo. This service aims to provide motivation, insight and careful planning in the future world of work. Apart from providing training, the service also provides consulting assistance services for students who want to make career plans. The approach used goes through 3 stages, namely the program coordination and socialization stage, the assessment and implementation stage, the evaluation and monitoring stage. The result of this service activity is that students are more motivated in learning and more ready to plan their careers after graduating from school. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in participating in learning activities in class and in carrying out PKL or field work practices.
