Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of government support and community participation on thedevelopment of the tourist destination of Mepar Village, Lingga District, Lingga Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 97 respondents from the Mepar Village community. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS version 26. The results show that, partially, government support has a positive and significant effect on tourist destination development (t-count 3.741; sig. 0.000<0.05), as does community participation (t-count 3.772; sig. 0.000<0.05). Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect tourist destination development, with an F-count of 144.641 and sig. 0.000<0.05. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.750 indicates that government support and community participation explain 75% of the variation in tourist destination development, while the remaining 25% is explained by other factors outside the model. These findings confirm that synergy between government support and community involvement is a crucial factor in driving the sustainable development of the Mepar Village tourist destination.

Abstract

This study examines how product quality, service quality, product innovation, customer satisfaction, and digital marketing explain the marketing performance of NIB-registered culinary micro-enterprises in Tanjungpinang City. A quantitative explanatory survey involved 117 owners or managers selected through purposive sampling and analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4. The results show that service quality increases owner- or manager-perceived customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction increases marketing performance. Customer satisfaction fully mediates the effect of service quality on marketing performance. Digital marketing directly improves marketing performance, but it does not moderate the customer satisfaction-marketing performance relationship. Product quality and product innovation do not significantly predict customer satisfaction. This study adds local evidence that service-based satisfaction and practical digital capability shape marketing performance in formalized culinary micro-enterprises.

Abstract

This study employs digital ground-truthing and spatial analysis to diagnose potential administrative coverage gaps in Tanjungpinang City's parking tax system by comparing a 2023 spatial inventory of observable establishments with the 2022 official taxpayer database. The spatial inventory identified 161 establishments with potential parking activities, compared with 62 registered parking taxpayers, producing an aggregate discrepancy of 99 establishments, equivalent to 61.5% of the spatial inventory. Using this aggregate difference as a proxy base and applying the average annual tax contribution of registered taxpayers, the mean-based simulation yields an illustrative annual revenue estimate of approximately IDR 2.21 billion. This estimate should be interpreted as an indicative scenario rather than as a direct measure of unpaid or recoverable tax revenue. The findings indicate that spatial analysis can serve as a useful diagnostic tool for identifying discrepancies between observable economic activities and administrative taxpayer records. Within the framework of fiscal decentralization, such discrepancies may limit the completeness of tax-base information and the effectiveness of Own-Source Revenue (OSR) administration. Integrating spatial verification with administrative taxpayer and licensing data may therefore strengthen tax-base verification, improve administrative coverage, and support more evidence-based local revenue management.
