Abstract

Bullying behaviors is still a recent phenomenon among teenagers and often occurs in schools. Bullying cases that have gone viral on social media in recent years are very worrying, where both adolescents boys and adolescents girls gang up to bully their friends. Some cases have recorded victims of bullying ending in suicide. The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze evidence through Literature Review on whether there are gender issues in bullying behavior among adolescents. The research method used in this research is qualitative through a narrative literature review approach. The results of the study found that male adolescents are more dominant in being the subject (perpetrator) of bullying than female adolescents. However, it does not rule out the possibility of adolescents girls acting aggressively as bullying perpetrators against their friends like adolescents boys. On the other hand, adolescent girls and adolescent boys both have the opportunity to be victims of bullying committed by others, especially their friends. Therefore, parents and schools must pay attention to bullying behaviors at school for both male and female adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of various empathy training programs, including Role-Playing, Effective Communication Training, Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBIs), Peer Mediation Programs, Emotional Literacy Training, and Anti-Bullying Training Programs, in reducing bullying behavior among adolescents. Through a literature review approach, the study examines the impact and implementation of each program in developing empathy and social skills. The findings indicate that these programs can significantly reduce bullying incidents, although each program has its limitations, such as reliance on active student participation and resource constraints. This study emphasizes the importance of continuous training and school support for effective implementation. This research provides new insights for educators, practitioners, and policymakers in designing effective strategies to reduce bullying behavior and promote the development of empathy among adolescents

Abstract

Patriarki adalam suatu sistem sosial atau struktur masyarakat, dimana laki-laki memiliki otoritas utama dalam segala konteks keluarga dan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali peran suami generasi milenial suku Jawa dan berusaha menjawab apakah terdapat pergeseran ideologi patriarki dalam pengasuhan di era modern ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologis. Informan penelitian ini terdiri dari enam suami yang lahir di generasi milenial (antara tahun 1980-1990) dan berasal dari etnis Jawa. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara semi-terstruktur. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) suami berperan aktif dalam pengasuhan tanpa mempertimbangkan status pekerjaan istri; (2) pengasuhan dianggap sebagai tanggung jawab bersama; (3) suami membangun komunikasi yang aktif dan terbuka dengan anak; (4) suami menyediakan waktu lebih untuk bermain dengan anak; (5) pengasuhan oleh orang tua suami berpengaruh dalam inisiasi keterlibatan pengasuhan anak; dan (6) media sosial dan internet menjadi sumber utama informasi pengasuhan. Terdapat pergeseran paradigma pengasuhan dari patriarki ke egaliter di kalangan suami generasi milenial suku Jawa, dimana lebih terlibat dalam pengasuhan anak dan pekerjaan rumah, serta menganggap pengasuhan sebagai tanggung jawab bersama dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai dinamika pengasuhan dalam keluarga suku Jawa generasi milenial.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how anonymity impacts derogatory behavior among social media users. Through a qualitative method, this study analyzes the behavior of individuals during face-to-face interactions compared to when they use anonymous accounts o social media. The findings indicate that while participants generally behave politely in face-to-face interactions, they frequently adopt and reinforce negative group behaviors on social media when using anonymous accounts. This demonstrates that anonymity strengthens group conformity, leading to negative behavior on social media. This research reveals that anonymity often serves as a shield, enabling individuals to dissociate their online actions from their real-world identities and consequences, thus exacerbating irresponsible behaviors. The study suggests the importance of netiquette and the development of strategies to reduce online anonymity, which are crucial for fostering more responsible interactions on social media.

Abstract

This study focuses on the importance of gender equality education for children from an Islamic perspective, emphasizing education towards the formation of understanding, attitudes, and behaviors that support gender equality and justice from an early age. This research uses a literature study method, aiming to explore how Islamic teachings in the Quran and Hadith provide a strong foundation for promoting gender equality, challenging stereotypes and gender discrimination, and supporting the development of each individual's potential without gender distinction. The findings indicate that gender equality education facilitates children in fully exploring and developing their potential, reducing gender-based discrimination and violence, and supporting children's mental health and well-being. This gender equality education also prepares children to participate equally in all aspects of life. From an Islamic perspective, gender equality education not only supports the intellectual, spiritual, and moral development of children but also emphasizes the importance of equality and justice between men and women. This research highlights the forms of gender education for children recommended in Islam, including the teaching of fundamental Islamic values such as mutual respect, empathy, and cooperation, and the integration of these values into daily life. It demonstrates that gender equality education in Islam can bridge tradition and modernity, enabling the younger generation to appreciate traditional wisdom while applying principles of equality and social justice. This study provides significant insights into how gender equality education can shape a more just and equal society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman perempuan dewasa awal dalam membentuk citra diri ketika menghadapi acne vulgaris. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis, dua partisipan perempuan berusia 19–25 tahun diwawancarai secara mendalam untuk memahami persepsi, emosi, dan strategi koping mereka terhadap jerawat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jerawat berdampak negatif pada citra tubuh, menimbulkan rasa malu, rendah diri, serta memicu konflik internal antara penerimaan diri dan tekanan sosial. Partisipan menggunakan berbagai strategi seperti skincare, makeup, serta mencari dukungan sosial sebagai bentuk adaptasi emosional. Lingkungan sosial, terutama komentar negatif, memperkuat ketidakpuasan terhadap tubuh, namun dukungan dari teman dan keluarga terbukti memperkuat ketahanan psikologis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa jerawat bukan sekadar masalah fisik, melainkan persoalan psikososial yang kompleks dan perlu ditanggapi secara lebih empatik dalam pendekatan budaya dan relasi sosial.

Abstract

Anak dengan selective mutism cenderung menolak berbicara di sekolah baik dengan guru ataupun teman-temannya. Kondisi ini bukan disebabkan ketidakmampuan bicara atau gangguan pada kognitif dimana jika tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat mengganggu capaian akademis anak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan seorang siswi prasekolah di Surabaya berusia 4 tahun 10 bulan yang dikeluhkan oleh guru karena menolak berbicara dengan semua orang sejak awal masuk sekolah. Proses penelitian menggunakan metode single subject design dimana di dalamnya dilakukan proses asesmen melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes VSMS untuk pengumpulan data serta intervensi dengan teknik stimulus fading dan prompting. Hasil asesmen menunjukkan bahwa subject mengalami selective mutism karena kecemasan. Teknik stimulus fading dan prompting dapat meningkatkan perilaku bicara subjek di sekolah jika dillihat dari kondisi baseline awal sebelum intervensi.
