Abstract

Seorang guru akan dapat mengajar dengan profesional jika mempunyai penguasaan ilmu yang baik, kreatif, dan inovatif dalam mengajar. Salah satu poin yang disyaratkan untuk guru agar mendapatkan angka kredit adalah menulis karya tulis baik dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah atau karya tulis nonilmiah. Salah satu bentuk buku ber-ISBN (International Standart Book Number) yang dapat ditulis guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas profesionalitasnya adalah buku ajar. Tim pengabdi Universitas Semarang mengadakan pelatihan penulisan buku ajar bagi guru SMA Negeri 5 Semarang. Melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan para guru SMA Negeri 5 Semarang dapat menulis karya tulis dalam bentuk buku dengan baik dan benar. Diharapkan pula para guru SMA Negeri 5 Semarang dapat menyusun buku ajar dengan baik agar dapat dipelajari dengan mudah dan tepat guna. Pelatihan ini juga bertujuan agar para guru SMA Negeri 5 Semarang memahami syarat dan langkah menerbitkan buku, sehingga buku ajar yang ditulis bisa mendapat legalitas berupa nomor ISBN.

Abstract

The personal social media makes people easily upload narration, photos, or videos using their own accounts. Online learning system during the pandemic makes the students having less social interaction that affects their character development. The problem is the lack of language politeness in social media. This can be seen in the improper dictions which found on social media. The purpose of this Community Service Program is to increase the social media literacy skills for the students of Semarang Vocational High School named Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Perdana Semarang. Having the literacy skills, students would be able to use social media wisely. Discussion and socialization methods had used in this community service. Result of this Community Service Program is the increasing social media knowledge and social media literacy skills of the students of SMK Perdana Semarang.
