Abstract

ABSTRAKAnak-anak yang mengkonsumsi makanan pendamping air susu ibu yang beragam dan didominasi oleh makanan hewani dapat menurunkan risiko kejadian stunting. Sebuah keluarga dapat menyediakan pangan yang beragam dengan  budidaya sayuran dan ikan di pekarangan rumah. Aquaponik adalah teknologi yang bisa digunakan dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah untuk budidaya tanaman dan ikan adalah aquaponik. Jumlah balita di RT 05 paling banyak di Pedukuhan Suren Wetan, Canden, Jetis, Bantul. Ada kasus stunting pada balita dan sebagian besar warga termasuk daam tingkat ekonomi mengengah ke bawah. Kegiatan bertujuan untuk meningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra tentang aquaponik. Pengetahuan mitra tentang sistem budidaya aquaponik meningkat setelah mendapatkan sosialisasi tentang aquaponik. Perbedaan nilai post-test dan pre-test sebesar 22,73. Dalam kurun waktu kurang lebih 7 minggu, budidaya aquaponik menghasilkan ikan lele sebanyak 2 kg dan 40 pot sayur. Aquaponik yang dibuat di lahan pekarangan keluarga dapat mewujudkan kemandirian mitra dalam menyediakan makanan yang bergizi seperti sayur dan ikan. Kata Kunci: aquaponik, budidaya, ikan, sayur, stunting  ABSTRACT Children who consume complementary feeding that are diverse and dominated by animal foods can reduce the risk of stunting. A family can provide a variety of food by cultivating vegetables and fish in the yard. Aquaponics is a technology that can be used in the use of the yard for the cultivation of vegetables and fishes. The highest number of children under five in RT 05 is Suren Wetan Hamlet, Canden, Jetis, Bantul. There are cases of stunting in children and most of the them belong to the middle to lower economic level. This activity aims to increase knowledge and skills of partners about aquaponics. Partner's knowledge about aquaponics cultivation system increased after getting socialization about aquaponics. The difference between the post-test and pre-test scores is 22.73. In a period of approximately 7 weeks, aquaponic cultivation produces 2 kg of catfish and 40 pots of vegetables. Aquaponics made in the family's yard can realize the independence of partners in providing nutritious food such as vegetables and fish.  Keywords: aquaponics , cultivation, fish, vegetables, stunting

Abstract

Background: Children experience growth and development according to their stages. Early detection of growth and development deviations needs to be done. The implementation of early detection stimulation for child development (SDIDTK) has been carried out by Puskesmas officers and health cadres, but cadres do not routinely carry out it . Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of cadres about SDIDTK in Umbulmartani Village and Bimomartani Village in the Ngemplak I Health Center area. Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of cadres in the village of Umbulmartani and the village of Bimomartani. Samples were taken purposively and carried out on 133 cadres. Results: Less than half of the cadres were aged 41-50 years (44.36%) and a small proportion were 21-30 years old, while the rest were 31-40 years old and 51-60 years old. Kader 's latest education shows that more than half of the respondents have a high school education (73.68%) and 1 has an elementary education. SMP, and D3. Most of the cadres work as housewives (87.97%) and the rest work as teachers, midwives, entrepreneurs, farmers and civil servants. Cadre's level of knowledge about stimulation of early intervention detection of child development and development: a small proportion of them had less knowledge (8.27%) and more than half (74.44%) had sufficient knowledge. Conclusion: The level of knowledge of cadres about SDIDTK was still lacking as much as 8.27% and sufficient 74.44%

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: The malnutrition problem in Indonesia and foreign countries is still very concerning, there are still many children experiencing malnutrition. This phenomenon occurs because many factors affect the nutritional status of children under five, for example economic factors, diet, history of infectious diseases, and the lack of parental knowledge. Purpose: This literature review purposed to determine the effect of economic factors, diet, history of infectious diseases and parental knowledge. Methods: This literature review method was a narrative literature review, journals were obtained from five databases, namely Pubmed, Sage Journal, Science Direct, Google Scholar and Chocrane with time release between 2015 - 2020. Journal searches used PRISMA so that 5 journals were found discussing factors that influence nutritional status in toddlers. Results: This literature review showed that economic factors, diet, history of infectious diseases and parental knowledge greatly affected the nutritional status of children under five both in Indonesia and abroad. Conclusion: Economic factors affected the nutritional status of children under five, dietary factors affected the nutritional status of children under five, historical factors impacted the nutritional status of children under five and the knowledge of parents affected the nutritional status of toddlers. Abstract

Diarrheal diseases are still a concern, especially in children's health. The main cause of death in diarrhea is due to dehydration resulting in fluid and electrolyte loss. One of the factors that influence the incidence of diarrhea in children is parental knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parental knowledge and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five years of age at Santo Antonio Baturaja Hospital, South Sumatra. This study used a cross sectional design, namely the level of parental knowledge (independent variable) to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers (dependent variable). Sampling in this study using accidental sampling technique using the slovin formula as many as 52 respondents. This study was conducted in the inpatient room of Santo Antonio Baturaja Hospital, South Sumatra. Data collection used a questionnaire of parental knowledge about diarrhea that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that most of the 24 respondents (46.2%) had a good level of knowledge of parents of children under five years of age and most of the 33 respondents (63.5%) had acute diarrhea. The results of statistical analysis using Spearman obtained a p value of 0.0001 and r = 0.455 which means that there is a relationship between parental knowledge and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five years of age at Santo Antonio Baturaja Hospital with moderate correlation strength. Researchers suggest that education for parents about diarrhea in toddlers should be provided so that they can better prevent and manage diarrhea cases.

Abstract

Status gizi balita menjadi salah satu indikator penting dalam mengukur derajat kesehatan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola pemberian makan dengan status gizi pada anak balita di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh balita usia 6-60 bulan di Sleman sebanyak 41 anak yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Child Feeding Questionnaire (CFQ) dan pengukuran berat badan berdasarkan umur (BB/U) menggunakan standar antropometri PMK No. 2 Tahun 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu memiliki pola pemberian makan yang tepat (97,6%) dan sebagian besar balita memiliki status gizi normal. Analisis menggunakan uji Spearman diperoleh nilai p=0,872 yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara pola pemberian makan dan status gizi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar ibu memiliki pola makan yang tepat, faktor lain seperti pendidikan ibu dan status sosial ekonomi turut memengaruhi status gizi anak.
