Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to identify and describe the concept of the Merdeka School as a model of education with a national insight and Pancasila. Merdeka School is one of the Community Learning Activity Centers (PKBM) which was established in Yogyakarta in 2020. The existence of this Merdeka School is present in the midst of non-formal and formal education problems that are not in favor of the values of national insight and Pancasila. In addition, the basic idea of the establishment of an independent school saw the current conditions of the school which were not in favor of the needs of students. This type of research is a qualitative research. This study was used to analyze and describe the concepts and policies of the Merdeka School in Yogyakarta. The location of this research was conducted at the Merdeka School in the period from September to December 2020. Sources of research data were obtained through observation and interviews with resource persons. Other data were obtained from documents on independent schools and the results of previous research on school policy. The analysis used in this research uses heuristic analysis. The results of this study indicate that the philosophy and vision and mission of an independent school reflect the direction and orientation of an independent school that builds an atmosphere and principles of national insight and Pancasila principlesKeywords: Independent School, Pancasila, Education, National Insight ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan konsep Sekolah Merdeka sebagai model pendidikan berwawasan kebangsaan dan Pancasila. Sekolah Merdeka merupakan salah satu Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) yang didirikan di Yogyakarta pada tahun 2020. Keberadaan Sekolah Merdeka ini hadir ditengah-tengah persoalan pendidikan non formal dan formal yang kurang berpihak pada nilai nilai wawasan kebangsaan dan Pancasila. Selain itu, gagasan dasar berdirinya sekolah merdeka melihat kondisi sekolah saat ini yang kurang berpihak pada kebutuhan siswa atau peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan konsep dan kebijakan Sekolah Merdeka di Yogyakarta. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Merdeka pada periode bulan September sampai dengan Desember 2020. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan narasumber. Data lain diperoleh dari dokumen tentang sekolah merdeka dan hasil penelitian sebelumnya tentang kebijakan sekolah. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan analisis heuristik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa filosofi dan visi misi sekolah merdeka mencerminkan arah dan orientasi sekolah merdeka yang membangun suasana dan prinsip prinsip wawasan kebangsaan dan Pancasila.Kata Kunci: Sekolah Merdeka, Pancasila, Pendidikan, Wawasan Kebangsaan

Abstract

Bisnis berkelanjutan tidak hanya berfokus pada pemberian layanan, namun juga memahami presepsi konsumen. Dengan demikian, bisnis mampu menghasilkan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sikap pengunjung terhadap Teras Malioboro. Studi ini menggunakan desain penelitian campuran (mix methode) melalui pendekatan konvergen. Metode tersebut dikombinasikan dengan analisa Fishbein sebagai salah satu cara menganalisa produk multi-atribut. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner yang disebar kepada 379 responden. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan wawancara untuk mengetahui pengalaman pengunjung. Atribut yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya: produk lengkap, instagramable, panggung hiburan, lokasi strategis, serta menjadi daya tarik wisata baru. Berdasarkan hasil analisa sikap pengunjung terhadap Teras Malioboro diperoleh nilai sebesar 79,069. Nilai tersebut berada padi titik potong antara netral dan setuju. Instagramable menjadi atribut yang memiliki nilai paling besar (17,744). Hasil tersebut menegaskan jika kemampuan memahami dan memberikan layanan terbaik dapat dilakukan sebagai upaya menciptakan keberkelanjutan bisnis.

Abstract

As a tourism-supporting industry, the presence of hotels is able to support tourist activities. The rise of the hotel industry confirms the improvement in tourism and shows tight competition. Management competes to present attractive and quality offers as well as good service offerings. The chain of assignment policy means that the front office department has several divisions, such as the front desk agent, guest relations officer, reservations, telephone operator, and concierge. In the concierge section, there is a bellboy who is responsible for handling guest luggage. Bellboys are at the forefront of hotels when it comes to serving incoming guests. Qualitative research through a case study approach was used in this study. This research will focus on investigating the service practices of bellboy staff at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel Yogyakarta. Semi-structured interviews were adopted and collaborated with service dimensions including reliability, tangibleness, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The informants used were three bellboy staff. The concepts of Miles Huberman and triangulation are used in data analysis and validation. The Hotel Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta has fully implemented the service dimensions, according to the research findings. This instrument is able to provide hotel guests with satisfaction. Furthermore, the findings of this research can be adopted as a guide for creating quality services and guest satisfaction.

Abstract

The adoption of digital technology has a significant impact on tourism management. The results released by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) explain that tourism management needs to optimize the role of technology. However, many tourism managers have not implemented technology, including the management of publication content. Limited knowledge, lack of HR competency, and financial conditions are obstacles that arise. On the other hand, tourism managers who implement technology also face problems. The creativity of publication content and the ability to evaluate strategies are additional problems. This study aims to investigate the management of publication content in high-achieving tourist villages. This study uses a qualitative method through an interpretive perspective. Several high-achieving tourist villages in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java were selected as objects in this research. Qualitative analysis using the Miles Huberman method was used in this study. The results of the study explain that tourist villages can attract tourist visits through the creativity of publication content. This study produces findings on publication content management, including the need for the role of internal managers, the ability to choose themes and content ideas, the intensity of posts, the use of appropriate social media, and improving HR capabilities. The findings in this study are expected to be a role model for managing tourist village content as an effort to create sustainable management.
