Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of MICE tourism and its contribution to employment absorption in the tourism sector and tourist visits in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. MICE activities (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) held in an area may contribute to various sectors. However, the implementation of MICE activities in an area has not yet been clearly measured for its contribution to employment absorption or number of tourist visits. This research sample uses purposive sampling technique, using primary data and secondary data. Primary data in the form of in-depth interviews and questionnaires. While secondary data in the form of data on the number of MICE, labor in the tourism sector, and tourist visits in 2014 - 2018. The analytical method used in this study is quantitative and qualitative SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threat) and is supported by descriptive statistics for strengthen analysis. The results showed the development of MICE tourism in DIY over a period of 5 years (2014-2018) had increased. MICE has grown a lot in Sleman Regency and Yogyakarta City, due to the factor of accommodation facilities, location close to tourist destinations and airports. MICE has a contribution to employment absorption seen from the positive quadrant sign between strength and weakness of 144.96. In addition, MICE also contributes to tourist visits as seen from the positive quadrant sign of 119.03. Keywords: MICE, employment absorption, tourist visit

Abstract

In the management of tourism sector, Pacitan regency can not be separated from the role of central government in meeting the economic needs and tourism infrastructure in Pacitan regency. The policy of regional autonomy has encouraged the Pacitan local government to manage its own finances in order to increase the regional fiscal independence. The research sample is district government of Pacitan determined by purposive sampling method. The method of analysis in this study is to use simple linear regression analysis. The analysis used is classical assumption test and simple linear regression analysis is used to know the influence between independent variable (X) that is tourism sector to dependent variable (Y) that is fiscal independence. From the results of research proved that the tourism sector positively affect the fiscal independence of the region Pacitan post-establishment of Geopark Gunungsewu. Abstract

The concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 has been applied by several tourist destinations in the world to attract tourist visits. The indicators used are Technology Change, Political Legal Change, Economic Change, Socio-Culture Change and Market Change. The number of tourist attractions popping up in Yogyakarta encourage managers to set the right strategies and plans so that the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard is increasingly in demand. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 on the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard, in order to attract tourist visits. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach combined with the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 analysis. Data collection in this study uses in-depth interviews, observation, documentary methods, visual material methods, and literature study. The subjects of this study were several people who came from the Department of Agriculture, Food, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Department of Tourism, Managers in the field, as well as several tourists who visited the Tourist attraction of Mangunan Orchard. Based on research that has been done, the results obtained that the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard is not in accordance with the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0. This is because the attributes used: Technology Change, Political Legal Change, Economic Change, Socio-Culture Change and Market Change have not been fully applied. With these results, the right strategies and programs are needed in applying the concept to attract tourist visits.

Abstract

Introduction: The culinary industry plays an important role in Indonesia's creative economy. This article discusses the use of standardized recipes as a basis for calculating the selling price of culinary products. The purpose of this article is to guide culinary entrepreneurs in accurately calculating production costs and determining competitive selling prices. Literature Review: The theory of this article draws on the price plus cost theory. This article highlights the importance of a standardized recipe-based selling price-setting strategy as a guideline for production costs and determination of the desired profit margin. Methods: This research uses the explanatory narrative method, with a qualitative approach. Narrative explanatory research is research that explains how something happens. Results and Discussion: This article provides the ability for culinary entrepreneurs to calculate the cost of goods and the selling price of their culinary products more consistently. Conclusion: The use of standard recipes as the basis for calculating selling prices can help culinary entrepreneurs maintain the profitability of their businesses.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan artikel pengabdian hasil implemantasi kegiatan bimbingan teknis WUB IKM olahan pangan berbasis ikan di Kabupaten Bantul. Program Bimbingan Teknis Wirausaha Baru IKM (Industri Kecil Menengah) Olahan Pangan Berbasis Ikan di Kabupaten Bantul bertujuan memperkuat ekonomi dan pariwisata melalui pengembangan keterampilan dalam industri olahan pangan ikan. Peserta terlibat dalam pembuatan produk olahan ikan dan mempelajari strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Respon positif peserta mencerminkan antusiasme dalam mengembangkan potensi ekonomi lokal. Saran untuk kegiatan serupa termasuk peningkatan persiapan panitia, pengelolaan peserta, dan tata kelola waktu. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi Kabupaten Bantul. Kata Kunci: Wirausaha Baru, IKM, Olahan Pangan Ikan, Ekonomi, Pariwisata   Abstract This is a service article on implementing technical guidance activities for WUB IKM fish-based food processing in Bantul Regency. The Technical Guidance Program for New Entrepreneurs of Fish-based Food Processed IKM (Industri Kecil Menengah/Small and Medium Industry) in Bantul Regency aims to strengthen the economy and tourism through skill development in the processed fish industry. Participants were involved in making processed fish products and learned effective marketing strategies. Participants' positive responses reflected enthusiasm in developing local economic potential. Suggestions for similar activities include improved committee preparation, participant management, and time management. This program is expected to make a positive contribution to Bantul Regency. Abstract

The adoption of digital technology has a significant impact on tourism management. The results released by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) explain that tourism management needs to optimize the role of technology. However, many tourism managers have not implemented technology, including the management of publication content. Limited knowledge, lack of HR competency, and financial conditions are obstacles that arise. On the other hand, tourism managers who implement technology also face problems. The creativity of publication content and the ability to evaluate strategies are additional problems. This study aims to investigate the management of publication content in high-achieving tourist villages. This study uses a qualitative method through an interpretive perspective. Several high-achieving tourist villages in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java were selected as objects in this research. Qualitative analysis using the Miles Huberman method was used in this study. The results of the study explain that tourist villages can attract tourist visits through the creativity of publication content. This study produces findings on publication content management, including the need for the role of internal managers, the ability to choose themes and content ideas, the intensity of posts, the use of appropriate social media, and improving HR capabilities. The findings in this study are expected to be a role model for managing tourist village content as an effort to create sustainable management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between digital marketing, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and knowledge management on the competitive advantage of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the creative sector in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on MSME actors in the creative sector in various regions in Indonesia. The research sample consisted of 180 respondents selected through purposive sampling techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression techniques to test the causal relationship between the variables studied. The results of the research data analysis concluded that digital marketing, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and knowledge management have a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage. The conclusion of this study confirms that digital marketing can increase market reach and promotion effectiveness. A strong entrepreneurial ecosystem, characterized by policy support, access to funding, and business networks, contributes to creating sustainable competitiveness for MSMEs. In addition, good knowledge management allows MSMEs to manage information and skills more optimally. These findings provide implications for stakeholders in encouraging digitalization strategies, strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and knowledge management to strengthen the competitiveness of creative sectors of MSMEs in Indonesia.
