Abstract

The problem that raised in this research is how to solve problems in using office electronic equipment to make it more efficient by utilizing internet technology as a medium for controlling, air conditioning, computers, and lights. Sometimes we still find a room that has electronic equipment such as air conditioning, computers, and lights that are still on even though they are not used so that it seems wasteful and inefficient, therefore we need an Internet of Things-based smart office system that can regulate and control conditions. office electronic equipment from anywhere via the internet network so that it can be useful for identifying and monitoring whether it is on or off. The control system is expected to help to identify and monitor the switching on and off of electronic devices remotely through a user interface. This research aims to design a smart office system based on the internet of things so that it can be used to flexibly identify and control office electronic equipment. The results of this study resulted in a prototype of a smart office system based on the internet of things that can help identify and control electronic equipment in the office

Abstract

Makassar Aviation Polytechnic has a number of laboratory facilities with a high level of utility, where the availability of facilities and infrastructure aspects is very important in the laboratory. The use of information systems is needed to be able to manage facilities better, therefore before this system is fully implemented, it is necessary to analyze the behavior of information system users, so that it can be accepted by users of information systems at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. The approach used in this study with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) consists of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, using the Guttman scale measurement. The results of this study showed that the perceived usefulness factor of most educators and cadets gave a positive perception of using laboratory information systems, while the perceived easy of use factor gave a negative perception of the laboratory information system because it was not fully able to use the laboratory information system. used by educators and cadets due to the absence of accessible features to facilitate the use of the laboratory.

Abstract

Bookkeeping of activities is very important for guard cadets, for documentation and reporting of cadet activities under the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic Cadets Character Development Center. The bookkeeping of these cadet activities is still managed conventionally, all data and information related to these activities is obtained and collected manually and by the guard cadets who are in charge of recording these activities. The goal to be achieved in this research is to make the log book of the cadet guard service from manual reports to digital reports at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. This type of research is Design Science Research (DSR) which aims to create new products and test them using the Black Box method by inputting valid and invalid data in order to determine deficiencies in the E-Log Book of the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic Cadres Watch Service. The test results on the Taruna Jaga E-Log Book show that inputting valid data into the cadet, class, study program, user, and picket data forms are all successful, while inputting data is invalid (random) on the cadet data form, study program, the user manages to process data which are not suitable except for the picket form which fails because it can save data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini pengembangan media pembelajaran jaringan komputer berbasis trainer di Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran dalam bidang jaringan komputer. Penelitian ini berfokus pada identifikasi fitur utama dalam desain media pembelajaran, proses pengembangan media pembelajaran, dan evaluasi keberhasilan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan pendekatan desain dan pengembangan untuk menciptakan alat trainer sebagai media pembelajaran praktik jaringan komputer. Fitur utama yang dikembangkan mencakup alat trainer yang interaktif, modul pelatihan berbasis e-modul, dan alat evaluasi berbasis online. Proses pengembangan melibatkan tahapan desain, pembuatan prototipe, uji coba, dan revisi berdasarkan umpan balik dari pengguna. Untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan media pembelajaran, dilakukan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa, serta tingkat kepuasan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis trainer dapat meningkatkan keterampilan praktis mahasiswa dalam konfigurasi dan manajemen jaringan komputer serta menerima umpan balik positif dari mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada upaya modernisasi metode pengajaran di bidang jaringan komputer dan menawarkan panduan praktis bagi pengembangan media pembelajaran di institusi pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze human freedom to will and act based on philosophical, theological, and practical views, and explore its application in national life in Indonesia. The main focus of this study is to find thoughts that can lead the Indonesian nation to progress, be respected, and continue to receive the grace of Allah SWT. The method used in this study is a literature review with a descriptive-analytical approach, in which various expert views, theories, and concepts about freedom are analyzed and adjusted to the context of social, political, and economic life in Indonesia. The results of the study show that human freedom to will and act must be integrated with the values ​​of Pancasila and theological principles of Islam, such as ikhtiar and destiny, to create responsible freedom. In addition, freedom of opinion needs to be managed wisely in order to strengthen democracy and maintain socio-political stability. In the economic sector, freedom must be combined with policies based on social justice to reduce inequality and create inclusive growth. This study also highlights the importance of responsible freedom thinking, as offered by Nurcholish Madjid, to encourage national progress that remains based on spiritual values. The results of this discussion show that human freedom in various aspects of life can be the foundation for the progress of the nation, as long as it is managed with the values ​​of responsibility and spirituality. With this approach, Indonesia can become a nation that is advanced, competitive, and full of blessings.

Abstract

The problem raised in the study is how to control lights and air conditioners automatically via a smartphone with reliability and power efficiency. A home automation system for the use of lights and air conditioners works according to weather and temperature conditions using LDR sensors and DHT11 sensors from anywhere via the internet network so that it can identify and monitor the device in an on or off-state. For this reason, a design of a home control system is needed that can help users identify and monitor electronic devices remotely through a user interface, or automatically. This study aims to design a home automation system based on a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) so that it can be used to control lights and air conditioners automatically and flexibly. In addition, this study also measures and analyzes Quality of Service (QoS) using delay parameters, packet loss, and throughput according to the TIPHON standard. From this study, the results of the tests carried out for the control function of electronic equipment connected to the home automation system using ESP8266, LDR, and Relay Node can function properly, while the network quality test according to the Quality of Service (QoS) Analysis using the TIPHON standard obtained results for Delay is 154.6 ms can be categorized as Good, while for the quality of the Loss packet it is 0.0033% with an outstanding category, while for the Throughput value is 2.2996 kbps which is categorized as bad.

Abstract

Sistem penimbangan tradisional saat ini memiliki kekurangan dalam efisiensi operasional, terutama ketika data harus dicatat secara manual dan harus segera dilaporkan. Kondisi ini menjadi tantangan besar, khususnya bagi pelaku usaha yang mengelola toko dan gudang di lokasi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem timbangan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi pengelolaan data berat. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor berat load cell dan HX711 dan mikrokontroler ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan protokol komunikasi MQTT. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan akurasi rata-rata 97,5% dan latensi pengiriman data 1,3 detik. Sistem berhasil diuji dalam kondisi operasional nyata selama 72 jam tanpa gangguan signifikan. Sistem ini diharapkan memberikan solusi inovatif untuk kebutuhan logistik yang kompleks.
