Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Transportation commissioned the Semarang Polytechnic of Shipping Science to conduct basic safety training (BST) of motor yachts to certify the crew of tourist boats and fishermen in Sungai Liat Bangka Regency. This activity is based on a letter of request from KSOP Sungai Liat to the Semarang Polytechnic of Shipping Sciences which aims to improve the competence of the Crew related to shipping safety and marine environmental pollution. Instructors and Lecturers of Semarang Polytechnic of Shipping Sciences as Resource Persons conduct education, training and counseling to the crew of tourist boats and Fishermen of Sungai Liat in order to implement safety and security in carrying out their duties and also support the protection of the marine environment for the common.

Abstract

ABSTRAK, Diesel generator adalah suatu pembangkit listrik yang terdiri dari kombinasi Mesin Diesel dengan Generator listrik (alternator) yang berfungsi untuk menghasilkan energi listrik. Kegiatan pengoperasian kapal dapat terganggu apabila penyediaan listrik tidak tersedia dengan baik. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena Diesel Generator yang menggerakkan alternator pada generator listrik tidak berputar dengan baik. Salah satu penyebab hal itu terjadi yaitu karena rusaknya Fuel Injection Pump yang mengakibatkan bahan bakar tidak dikabutkan dengan baik dan akan membuat hasil pembakaran yang tidak sempurna. Metode yang digubakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode SWOT. SWOT merupakan kependekan dari strength, weakness, opportunities dan Threats. Sesuai dengan panjangannya, metode tersebut dapat melakukan analisis kerja plunger fuel injection pump untuk dapat bekerja secara optimal. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode SWOT dan berdasar dari pengalaman diatas kapal yang menyebabkan macetnya plunger fuel injection pump adalah karena material pengganggu pada celah antara plunger dengan barrel.

Abstract

Abstraksi ─ Inert gas system adalah suatu sistem yang memasukkan gas lembam ke dalam tangki muatan sehingga konsentrasi kandungan oksigen di dalam tangki selalu berada di bawah 8% dari volume tangki muatan di atas kapal. Sistem ini digunakan pada saat pemuatan, pembongkaran serta pembersihan tangki muatan karena pada kegiatan tersebut resiko terjadinya kebakaran atau ledakan lebih besar. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penyusunan skripsi ini penulis menggunakan teknik analisa data SHEL (Softwere, Hardwere, Environment, Livewere) untuk menentukan masalah dan USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) sebagai teknik analisa data untuk menentukan prioritas dari permasalahan yang terjadi, yaitu penyebab korosi pada blower impeller IGS. Untuk mengatasi korosi pada blower impeller IGS di MT. SC Champion XLV sebaiknya lakukan pembilasan dengan air tawar setelah IGS beroperasi, serta menjaga tekanan scrubber pump sesuai dengan rekomendasi dari instruction manual book dan dilakukan penjelasan tentang prosedur pengoperasian IGS pada seseorang atau terutama pada beberapa orang awak kapal.

Abstract

Risks that often occur in ship shipping can occur due to human error factors, technical factors or natural factors (force majeure factors) and other factors. The large number of accidents or incidents that frequently occur can cause a lot of loss and damage and even loss for the owner of the ship and third parties as owners of the goods. As in the case that occurred at PT. AHAP and PT. PM . PT insurance dispute. AHAP and PT.PM occurred because the ship from PT. Which PM is KM. Bayu Prima experienced a fire.This writing aims to describe the process of resolving disputes over Indonesian ship insurance agreements using English law in the Indonesian Courts and to find out the obstacles faced by Indonesian Courts in resolving insurance disputes whose insurance agreements use English law. The method used is the Normative Juridical research type. This type of Normative Juridical research aims to examine statutory regulations related to theoretical concepts. Settlement of disputes over Indonesian Ship InsuranceAgreements Using English Law in Indonesian Courts is very difficult to use because insurance policies use English law, so Indonesian courts do not have the right to decide on sanctions based on the insurance policy in force. The obstacle faced by Indonesian courts in resolving insurance disputes where the insurance agreement uses English law is the use of insurance policy agreements that use English law. Withthe insurance policy agreement using English law, the Indonesian Court does not have full authority to decide disputes, thereby causing harm to PT. AHAP who cannot claim applicable damages.
