Abstract

Respon pasangan suami-istri dalam menanggapi konflik memegang peranan penting bagi stabilitas dan keberlangsungan pernikahan. Respon konstruktif dapat mempromosikan peningkatan evaluasi subjektif pasangan terkait kualitas hidup dalam konteks hubungan pernikahan. Sementara itu, respon destruktif mempromosikan kecenderungan penurunan evaluasi kualitas hidup secara personal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian komparasi, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan respon antara suami dan istri ketika menanggapi konflik pernikahan yang ditinjau dari 4 tipe respon yakni konstruktif-aktif (voice), konstruktif-pasif (loyalty), destruktif-aktif (exit), destruktif-pasif (neglect). Sampel yang digunakan pada prosedur kuantitatif adalah pasangan suami-istri yang berdomisili di Kota Makassar dengan rentang usia 20 – 59 tahun (n=350). Instrumen yang digunakan pada prosedur kuantitatif adalah instrumen EVLN diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi untuk keperluan penelitian khususnya kesesuaian budaya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalaah uji komparasi/uji beda independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, kelompok laki-laki secara umum cenderung merespon konflik dengan tipe respon voice sementara kelompok perempuan cenderung merespon konflik dengan tipe respon loyalty. Meskipun tidak ditemukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara tipe respon exit dan neglect pada kedua kelompok pengukuran, namun secara umum dapat dilihat bahwa kelompok laki-laki memiliki nilai pengukuran yang lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok perempuan pada pengukuran tipe respon destruktif-aktif (exit). Sebaliknya, pada tipe respon destruktif-pasif (loyalty), rerata nilai pengukuran yang diperoleh oleh kelompok perempuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok laki-laki. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa, terdapat perbedaan bentuk pelibatan diri antara laki-laki dan perempuan ketika merespon konflik.

Abstract

After Covid-19, several educational institutions have adopted the hybrid learning system. The transition of learning systems from face-to-face to hybrid settings presents obstacles and challenges that require adaptive solutions. The compatibility between hybrid learning systems and student learning style preferences is an issue that needs to be studied in more depth. Students have their preferred way when it comes to learning. They prefer to learn through visual (V), aural (A), read-write (R), or kinesthetic (K). Depending on their learning styles, student adaptation may have been challenging. In this regard, a study was designed to identify the learning style preferences among students. The VARK questionnaire is one of the most widely used diagnostic tools, allowing teachers to understand students' learning preferences and develop innovative learning practices. A quantitative cross-sectional design was conducted among students (n=486) in Univeristy X using the VARK questionnaire. Student learning style preferences were identified using latent profile analysis. Our findings suggest that most students were identified as having multiple learning modalities, while the rest had a single learning modality. Prevalence of kinesthetic and aural learning styles preference highest among students, followed by visual and read-write learning styles. Understanding how students retain the knowledge imparted to them is essential for lecturers to develop innovative and adaptive strategies.

Abstract

The increasing number of non-franchise local coffee shops is a good sign for the social entrepreneurship sector. Their endeavor in opening jobs opportunity and improving social welfare are highly respected. During the Covid-19 pandemic, various non-franchise local coffee shops tried to maintain their business sustainability. Knowing the organizational culture could be one of them. In this study, the Organizational culture of non-franchise local coffee shops has measured by the Organization Culture Inventory (OCI) instrument, which involved 43 millennial employees and three owners of seven MSMEs of local non-franchise coffee shops in Bandung, West Java. The results indicate that generally, non-franchise local coffee shops in Bandung has dominated by the Constructive dimension which consists of the following aspects: Humanistic/Encouraging = 82.3%; Affiliative = 83.5%; Achievement = 79.9% and Self-Actualizing = 75.1%. The statement indicates that the various non-franchise coffee shops support each employee to interact with each other, both among employees and the customers as well. In completing their tasks, they prioritize a mutual assistance approach that somehow could support employees' enthusiasm and self-actualization at work.

Abstract

Strategi pasangan dalam menangani dan menyelesaikan konflik secara efektif berperan penting dalam upaya untuk memelihara hubungan yang sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran attachment style (anxiety dan avoidance) terhadap strategi penyelesaian konflik dalam hubungan dekat yang ditinjau berdasarkan 4 karakteristik penyelesaian konflik, yaitu exit, neglect, voice, dan loyalty. Sebanyak 352 individu berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini, terdiri dari 227 wanita (64,4%) dan 125 pria (35,5%) berusia antara 17 hingga 52 tahun yang sedang menjalin hubungan dekat atau sudah menikah. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa anxiety dan avoidance memiliki peran yang variatif dalam memprediksi strategi penyelesaian konflik. Jenis kelamin juga memiliki efek prediktif secara khusus pada sub-dimensi loyalty. Sedangkan, status hubungan diketahui tidak memiliki implikasi yang signifikan terhadap masing-masing sub-dimensi yang terdapat ada variabel strategi penyelesaian konflik

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of academic stress on students’ dissatisfaction responses and whether parental involvement moderates this relationship. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. The sample consisted of 30 students from 10 classes at SMP X, and the data were analyzed using multiple regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS version 30. The regression analysis showed that academic stress significantly affected all four dimensions of dissatisfaction response: Exit, Voice, Loyalty, and Neglect. However, the MRA results indicated that parental involvement did not moderate the relationship between academic stress and any of the four responses (p 0.05). The R-Square values for each MRA model were: Exit = 0.3237; Voice = 0.5884; Loyalty = 0.1869; and Neglect = 0.0209. These findings suggest that while parental involvement is generally important in education, it did not significantly strengthen or weaken the impact of academic stress on students’ dissatisfaction responses in this context.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh stres akademik terhadap respons ketidakpuasan siswa serta apakah keterlibatan orang tua memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 30 siswa SMP X dari 10 kelas, dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda serta Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) melalui SPSS versi 30. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa stres akademik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keempat dimensi dissatisfaction response, yaitu Exit, Voice, Loyalty, dan Neglect. Namun, hasil MRA menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua tidak berperan sebagai moderator dalam hubungan antara stres akademik dan keempat respons tersebut (p 0,05). Nilai R-Square pada masing-masing model MRA adalah: Exit = 0,3237; Voice = 0,5884; Loyalty = 0,1869; dan Neglect = 0,0209. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun keterlibatan orang tua penting dalam pendidikan, dalam konteks ini tidak terbukti dapat memperkuat atau memperlemah pengaruh stres akademik terhadap respons ketidakpuasan siswa.

Abstract

Student engagement is an important indicator of educational effectiveness that plays a role in developing discipline, responsibility, and social skills. Student engagement can also increase learning motivation and emotional well-being, as well as encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students with high engagement tend to be better prepared to face life's challenges and achieve academic success in the future. This study was conducted to analyse the relationship and contribution of the variables perceived social support and school burnout to student engagement among students at SMP X. The study employed two quantitative research methods: Pearson product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The instruments used in this study include: The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), School Burnout Inventory (SBI), and Student Engagement Scale (SES). This study involved 495 students, with the analysis results showing a positive relationship between perceived social support and student engagement (r = 0.538, p 0.05), while school burnout had a negative relationship with student engagement (r = -0.303, p 0.05). Meanwhile, regression analysis showed that both variables simultaneously contributed 34.5% to student engagement (R2 = 0.345), while the remaining 65.5% was attributed to other factors. Overall, perceived social support and school burnout were found to significantly contribute to student engagement. The level of perceived social support and the level of burnout experienced by students at school mutually influence and play a role in determining the extent to which students actively participate in academic and non-academic activities in the school environment.ABSTRAKKeterlibatan siswa merupakan indikator penting dari efektivitas pendidikan yang berperan dalam mengembangkan disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan keterampilan sosial. Keterlibatan siswa juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kesejahteraan emosional, serta mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah. Siswa yang memiliki keterlibatan tinggi, cenderung lebih siap dalam menghadapi tantangan hidup dan mencapai keberhasilan akademik di masa depan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan serta kontribusi variabel perceived social support dan school burnout terhadap student engagement pada siswa siswi SMP X. Penelitian menggunakan dua metode penelitian kuantitatif yaitu teknik analisis korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), School Burnout Inventory (SBI), dan Student Engagement Scale (SES). Penelitian ini melibatkan 495 siswa, dengan hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara perceived social support dengan student engagement (r = 0.538, p 0.05), sedangkan school burnout memiliki hubungan negatif dengan student engagement (r = -0.303, p 0.05). Sementara itu, analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel secara simultan berkontribusi sebesar 34,5% terhadap keterlibatan siswa (R2 = 0.345), sementara 65,5% sisanya disebabkan oleh faktor lain. Secara keseluruhan, perceived social support dan school burnout terbukti secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap student engagement. Tingkat dukungan sosial yang dirasakan serta tingkat burnout yang dialami oleh siswa di sekolah, saling berpengaruh dan berperan dalam menentukan sejauh mana siswa berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam aktivitas akademik dan non-akademik di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) based on employment status at the Sindang Jaya Community Health Center (Puskesmas). The research employed a quantitative approach with samples consisting of civil servant employees (PNS) and contract employees. The results indicate a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and OCB overall. However, this relationship is significant only among contract employees, while no significant relationship was found among civil servant employees. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in the relationship between emotional intelligence and OCB between civil servant and contract employees.These findings suggest that employment status influences the dynamics of the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior within the Sindang Jaya Puskesmas environment.

Abstract

Dalam satu dekade terakhir, terdapat sejumlah kajian mengenai mindfulness dan meningkatnya minat untuk menggunakan intervensi berbasis mindfulness. Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) adalah salah satu instrument alat ukur yang paling banyak digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat mindfulness dan dikembangkan berdasarkan skala mindfulness sebelumnya yang dilakukan oleh beberapa peneliti mindfulness. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengadaptasi Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) kedalam Bahasa Indonesia untuk sampel umum. Proses adaptasi dan modifikasi skala mindfulness pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metodologi campuran (mix method) dan dilakukan pengujian terhadap 314 responden. Temuan dari studi ini mengindikasikan bahwa FFMQ versi Bahasa Indonesia menunjukan koefisien reliabilitas cukup hingga baik, serta bersadarkan seluruh pembuktian validitas dan reliabilitas alat ukur, FFMQ versi Bahasa Indonesia dinyatakan memiliki tingkat keandalan yang baik serta memiliki validitas yang kuat. Model pengukuran yang paling cocok untuk FFMQ Bahasa Indonesia ini adalah model Hierarchical Five Factor.

Abstract

Sebagai negara berkembang, kemiskinan belum dapat dihindari di Indonesia. Tingkat kemiskinan di Indonesia dapat dikurangi dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah dengan meningkatkan standar hidup masyarakat. Melalui kurikulum yang telah dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) diharapkan dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pekerja tingkat pemula, sehingga pada taraf yang lebih lanjut, dapat meningkatkan standar kehidupannya Selain menguasai materi akademik di sekolah, siswa SMK perlu membekali diri dengan penguatan pada aspek psychological capital sehingga mereka dapat bersaing dan menjalani kehidupan mereka secara positif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 47 siswa SMK swasta di Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan. Pengukuran dilakukan dua kali, yaitu pre-test dan post-test. Dalam periode antara pre-test dan post-test, peneliti melakukan serangkaian pelatihan untuk meningkatkan aspek psychological capital siswa, diantaranya adalah pelatihan keterampilan hidup yang meliputi aspek belajar, bekerja, dan melayani, serta pelatihan kewirausahaan. Psychological capital siswa diukur menggunakan instrumen PCQ-24. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada psychological capital siswa p=0,016 (p<0,05), dengan optimisme sebagai aspek yang memiliki selisih rata-rata tertinggi = 2,12 (pre x̄ = 2,46; post x̄ = 4,58).
