Abstract

E-books are one of the learning media resulting from the adaptation of digital manuals which can also be used as learning resources. Based on the results of a needs analysis conducted on 36 students of the active Cosmetology Education study program, it was found that 66.7% of students stated that Western Bridal Makeup was the most difficult makeup to practice and 97.4% stated that digital learning media was needed. The aim of developing the Canva-based European Bridal Makeup e-book is to serve as additional learning media in digital form and additional learning resources suitable for use by students of the Makeup Education study program.The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) by Thiagarajan. The validity test was carried out by media experts and material experts. The assessment instrument used is a validation sheet consisting of various aspects of the assessment using a Likert scale.The e-book is declared feasible after passing through several revisions from experts. Based on the results of the validation test by material experts with a value of 92% or included in the ''Very Valid'' criteria and by media experts with a value of 95% which is also included in the ''Very Valid'' criteria.

Abstract

Empowerment of PKK Mothers in Caring for Hair through Teaching Videos of Traditional Hair Care. The objectives of this Community Service are 1) Increase the motivation of PKK mothers to bring out creativity in doing traditional hair care. 2) Improve the skills of PKK mothers to be creative and innovative in doing traditional hair care with the right techniques during the Covid 19 pandemic. 3) Providing knowledge about effectiveness in entrepreneurship. The method used is presentation and discussion by holding make-up webinars through zoom meetings. The webinar activity in August 2020 was attended by 20 participants from Jaka Sampurna Village, Bekasi. The activities included training in hair care competency skills by showing learning videos for traditional hair care. The results of this community service program are (1) partners have knowledge of traditional hair care. (2) partners can apply special skills in the field of hair care in their family and surrounding communities. (3) partner's interest in developing skills by opening a business in the hair sector.

Abstract

This research was developed through the lack of learning media used in the beauty class program specifically for reporters held on a television station, especially Narasi TV. This study aims to develop a make-up module in a beauty class aimed at TV station reporters. Television reporters need appropriate make-up skills to support a professional appearance through outdoor broadcasts and in the studio. This module is designed to meet these needs by providing systematic, easy-to-understand guidance that is in accordance with professional beauty standards. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distribution in the form of a questionnaire with qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the feasibility value obtained by media experts was 100% and the results of the material expert validity test were carried out in 2 stages with a final value of 87%. Meanwhile, in the trial, students received a one-to-one assessment of 88.6% and in small groups of 88.4%. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the Makeup module in the Narasi TV Beauty Class Reporter is said to be "very Appropriate" and "Very Practical" to be used as a guidebook for running a beauty class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh pengetahuan penggunaan kosmetika terhadap perilaku tata rias wajah sehari-hari di kalangan siswi SMAN 6 Jakarta. Tren penggunaan kosmetika yang meningkat di kalangan remaja seringkali tidak diimbangi dengan pemahaman yang memadai tentang cara penggunaan yang tepat dan aman. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei, penelitian melibatkan 85 siswi yang dipilih melalui simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan penggunaan kosmetika tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku tata rias wajah sehari-hari (signifikansi 0,875 > 0,05; R² = 0,000). Meskipun memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah, mayoritas siswi tetap aktif menggunakan kosmetika dalam keseharian mereka. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor eksternal seperti tren sosial, pengaruh lingkungan, dan media digital lebih berperan dalam membentuk perilaku tata rias wajah dibandingkan pengetahuan tentang kosmetika.   Kata kunci: Pengetahuan Kosmetika, Perilaku Tata Rias, Remaja, SMAN 6 Jakarta

Abstract

The development of the Monolid Eye Corrective Makeup E-Modul using Canva, which allows design creation and website link to export. The aim is to produce an E-Module that is feasible and practical for the Face Makeup Class. This Research and Development (RD) study uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected using questionnaires for validation by material and media experts and practicality tests by students. Data were analyzed using percentage-based categories. Validation by media experts reached 94.4% and by material experts 98.67%, both categorized as very valid. The one-to-one practicality test scored 88.79%, and the small group test scored 91.81%, both in the very practical category. Based on these results, the Monolid Eye Corrective Makeup E-Modul is considered highly feasible and practical as a learning media

Abstract

Learning outcomes are a learning carried out by someone after  going through the process of learning activities, which uses an assessment tool prepared by the teacher, such as an evaluation test that includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. This study aims to determine the relationship between student interest in the use of Google Classroom with learning outcomes of facial skin care with technology. This research is a quantitative research with a survey method with a sample of 65 students of the Cosmetology Education study program batch 2020. The data for the X variable (student interest in using Google Classroom) was obtained by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale. Meanwhile, the Y variable data (Learning Results of Facial Skin Care with Technology) was obtained from Form 06. The results of the analysis with product moment correlation showed that there was no positive and significant relationship between students' interest in learning outcomes of facial skin care with technology. Based on the calculations obtained a significance value of 0.274 which means it is greater than 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho which reads: "Students' Interest in Using Google Classroom does not have a positive effect on Learning Outcomes of Facial Skin Care with Technology" is accepted. On the other hand, "Students' Interest in Using Google Classroom has a positive effect on Learning Outcomes of Facial Skin Care with Technology" is rejected. The effective contribution was obtained by 1.9% and the remaining 98.1% was not examined in this study.   Hasil belajar adalah suatu pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh seseorang setelah melalui proses kegiatan belajar, dimana menggunakan suatu alat penilaian yang disusun oleh pengajar, seperti tes evaluasi yang meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan minat mahasiswa dalam penggunaan Google Classroom dengan hasil belajar perawatan kulit wajah dengan teknologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan jumlah sampel 65 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Tata Rias angkatan 2020. Data untuk variabel X (minat mahasiswa dalam penggunaan Google Classroom) didapat dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner dengan skala likert. Sedangkan, data variabel Y (hasil belajar Perawatan Kulit Wajah dengan Teknologi) didapat dari Form 06. Hasil analisis dengan korelasi product momen menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara minat mahasiswa terhadap hasil belajar perawatan kulit wajah dengan teknologi. Berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,274 yang berarti lebih besar dari pada 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho yang berbunyi: “Minat Mahasiswa Dalam Penggunaan Google Classroom tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap Hasil Belajar Perawatan Kulit Wajah dengan Teknologi” diterima. Sebaliknya, “Minat Mahasiswa Dalam Penggunaan Google Classroom berpengaruh positif terhadap Hasil belajar Perawatan Kulit Wajah dengan Teknologi” ditolak. Sumbangan efektif diperoleh sebesar 1,9% dan sisanya 98,1% tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Tata rias dan busana pengantin adat Mupus Braen Banyuwangi mulai jarang digunakan oleh masyarakat Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran penata rias Banyuwangi dalam melestarikan tata rias dan busana pengantin adat Mupus Braen Banyuwangi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis dara dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan.  Lokasi penelitian ini di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Informan dalam penelitian ialah perias senior Banyuwangi, HARPI Melati Banyuwangi serta staf dinas pariwisata kabupaten Banyuwangi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penata rias berperan penting dalam melestarikan tata rias dan busana pengantin adat Mupus Braen Blambangan melalui berbagai kegiatan yang diadakan seperti seminar, peragaan busana, maupun pagelaran seni budaya. Penata rias bekerja sama dengan masyarakat Banyuwangi melalui program PKK memberikan pendidikan gratis di lembaga kursus pelatihan resmi agar dapat menjaga serta melestarikan kebudayaan tata rias dan busana pengantin Banyuwangi sebagai salah satu kebudayaan nasional dan sebagai identitas jati diri.

Abstract

In its development, social media now plays an important role in supporting the dissemination of educational content, especially in the realm of non-formal learning that is easily accessible with the lifestyle of people in today's modern era. Various social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube have evolved from what were initially just places to share entertainment content to means of disseminating educational information. This study aims to develop educational tutorial videos on double cleansing facial care through the TikTok platform, which can be used as an additional learning resource for social media users based on evaluations by subject matter experts and media experts. This study employs the Research Development (RD) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The measurement tools used in this study include validation tools by media experts and users, as well as practical feasibility testing tools by media experts. The results of the study show that the educational videos produced received very high validation in terms of both content and media. The performance of the videos on the TikTok platform also supports the effectiveness of this media in reaching digital audiences. The output of this research is an educational tutorial video that can be accessed online anytime and anywhere, thereby supporting self-directed learning and enhancing digital literacy in the context of self-care.
