Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan modifikasi model epidemik SEIQR dengan tingkat kejadian standar dan kontrol optimal. Kontrol optimal dilakukan dengan menambahkan dua variabel kontrol yaitu usaha pengontrolan kontak langsung antara populasi rentan dengan populasi terinfeksi, dan pemberian obat pada populasi terinfeksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meminimumkan jumlah subpopulasi yang terinfeksi, jumlah subpopulasi laten, jumlah biaya edukasi dan biaya pemberian obat. Kondisi kontrol optimal pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan prinsip minimum Pontryagin. Selanjutnya, simulasi numerik dilakukan dengan metode Sweep Maju-Mundur untuk menunjukkan bagaimana pengaruh adanya kontrol terhadap model epidemik. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya kontrol terlihat efektif dalam menekan jumlah pertumbuhan subpopulasi terinfeksi dengan subpopulasi laten.

Abstract

Rekayasa alternatif dalam mendapatkan sumber lain selain bahan bakar dari fosil marak diperbincangkan. Hal ini adalah akibat dari berkurangnya bahan bakar fosil setiap tahunnya. Pentingnya memperoleh bahan bakar alternatif yang minim polutan adalah salah satu solusi yang tepat. Dalam hal ini dampak negatif dari berkurangnya fosil akan mendorong dampak positif yang baik, salah satunya adalah berkurangnya polutan udara dengan bahan bakar less-polutan yang marak dilakukan. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi polutan dan dampak yang disebabkan olehnya adalah dengan melakukan pemilihan zat aditif pada bahan bakar. Penelitian ini menggunakan bioetanol dari bonggol jagung. Bioetanol dari bonggol jagung ini adalah merupakan salah satu solusi yang tepat, melihat bonggol jagung adalah merupakan residu yang berpotensi dibuang selama ini tanpa banyak dimanfaatkan keberadaannya.. Atas dasar inilah peneliti berkeinginan untuk mengolah bonggol jagung menjadi bioetanol yang sangat luar biasa manfaatnya. Dalam penelitian ini kami bertujuan menentukan perubahan daya terbesar dan tekanan efektif rerata. Pengamatan konsumsi bahan bakar terkecil, pada saat putaran mesin control 2000 rpm sampai dengan 9500 rpm berbahan bakar pertamax 92 dengan campuran bioetanol 5%, 10%, dan 15% . Kendaran yang digunakan untuk pengujian adalah mesin bensin 150 cc. Metoda pengujian daya mengacu standar ISO 1585 dengan metoda bukaan katub penuh untuk mendapatkan data, selanjutnya data tersaji dalam bentuk grafik setelah dihitung dengan oneway anova. Hasil Daya terbesar 0,45 HP, kebutuhan bahan bakar spesifik 0,0005 kg/HP.jam dan tekanan efektif rerata 190 kPa.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan adalah salah satu pendorong utama untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi organisasi. Diyakini bahwa jenis gaya organisasi kepemimpinan mempengaruhi hasil keseluruhannya. Penulisan ini berfokus pada gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi dan disiplin kinerja yang mempunyai pengaruh pada kinerja karyawan. terlihat bahwa gaya kepemimpinan pasti memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhadap kesuksesan perusahaan, seperti cara pemimpin mengelola karyawannya akhirnya menentukan kinerja organisasi itu sendiri. Ketika sebuah pemimpin terlibat dan mempertimbangkan ide dan masukan karyawan ketika pengambilan keputusan, produktivitas secara tidak langsung akan meningkat terutama dari karyawan karena mereka merasa seperti mereka adalah bagian dari masukan yang mengarah ke motivasi. Itu semua bermuara pada perilaku dan psikologis manusia pandangan tentang memiliki gaya kepemimpinan yang tepat yang diinginkan seorang pemimpin mengadopsi dalam suatu organisasi. Beberapa rekomendasi dibuat untuk lebih lanjut meningkatkan kinerja organisasi dalam jangka panjang. Menurut hasil penelitian, kepemimpinan demokratis adalah gaya kepemimpinan yang paling efektif untuk mencapai dan meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Secara mendalam penjelasan diberikan dalam laporan ini.

Abstract

Cyber risk is a hazard or threat associated with the use of interconnected technology systems. This risk occurs when one or more of the three attributes of information namely confidentiality, integrity, and availability are affected. Basically, cyber risk is an operational risk that occurs in cyberspace. Somehow, cybersecurity mechanisms are expensive to implement. This study is to examine the importance of cybersecurity and the use of ethical hacking techniques for the protection of user data through globally defined characterizations. The method used is a literature review based on books, journals, and the internet.

Abstract

This study aims to model fluid dynamics in the fuel injector of a four-stroke gasoline engine, with a focus on the relationship between fluid pressure and flow rate. The size of the fuel droplet is a key factor that affects combustion efficiency. Droplet size can be controlled through the regulation of injection speed and pressure. In this study, data on injection speed and pressure were collected using an injector tester, injector plunger, and fuel pump tester pressure gauge. The data show that at a higher injection speed (80 m/s), the fuel droplet diameter decreases more rapidly, producing smaller droplets and enhancing combustion efficiency. A similar pattern was observed at higher injection pressures (50 bar), where the droplets atomized more quickly, allowing for a more homogeneous air-fuel mixture. The results illustrate that both higher injection speed and pressure support a more efficient atomization process, reduce emissions, and improve engine efficiency. This study concludes that proper regulation of injection speed and pressure is crucial to optimize engine performance and reduce exhaust emissions. The findings can be used to design more efficient fuel injection systems and provide recommendations for the development of future injection technologies

Abstract

Restaurant liquid waste contains elevated pollutant levels and is commonly discharged directly into the environment, leading to adverse impacts on ecosystems and aquatic life. The traditional methods for processing such wastewater often involve extensive land usage and complicated operations, posing challenges for effective treatment. Therefore, there is a need for a more practical technology to manage restaurant liquid waste, and one promising approach is the utilization of membrane technology for wastewater treatment. In this study, the researchers employed a combination process of multilevel filters with downflow flow and PES membrane ultrafiltration to treat the restaurant liquid waste. The multilevel filter comprised several layers of filter media, including silica sand, activated carbon, zeolite, and gravel, with specific thicknesses on a PVC pipe. For the PES membrane, two different concentrations were tested: 15% and 20% PES. To evaluate the efficiency of the treatment process, pollutant parameters such as pH, TSS (Total Suspended Solids), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), and turbidity were measured. The results indicated significant pollutant reduction: pH levels could reach 6.9, TSS degradation achieved up to 98.37%, COD degradation up to 88.14%, and turbidity degradation up to 97.03%. Based on the outcomes, the most effective treatment for converting restaurant wastewater into clean water involved the combined use of multilevel filters and a 20% PES membrane ultrafiltration system.

Abstract

In its development, social media now plays an important role in supporting the dissemination of educational content, especially in the realm of non-formal learning that is easily accessible with the lifestyle of people in today's modern era. Various social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube have evolved from what were initially just places to share entertainment content to means of disseminating educational information. This study aims to develop educational tutorial videos on double cleansing facial care through the TikTok platform, which can be used as an additional learning resource for social media users based on evaluations by subject matter experts and media experts. This study employs the Research Development (RD) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The measurement tools used in this study include validation tools by media experts and users, as well as practical feasibility testing tools by media experts. The results of the study show that the educational videos produced received very high validation in terms of both content and media. The performance of the videos on the TikTok platform also supports the effectiveness of this media in reaching digital audiences. The output of this research is an educational tutorial video that can be accessed online anytime and anywhere, thereby supporting self-directed learning and enhancing digital literacy in the context of self-care.

Abstract

The decline of petroleum reserves and environmental issues from petroleum-based lubricants have driven interest in biolubricants. Jatropha curcas L. oil is a promising candidate due to its availability and non-edible nature, but it lacks sufficient oxidative stability and thermal performance. This study aims to improve jatropha oil quality through in situ epoxidation. The research included oil extraction, initial chemical analysis (acid value, moisture, saponification value, iodine value), epoxidation with varied reactant ratios and reaction times, and post-modification tests of viscosity and flash point. Results indicated that oil yield from dehulled seeds was higher (60%) than hulled seeds (25%). Epoxidation improved viscosity from 2.39 cSt to 34.2 cSt at 40°C and raised the flash point from 109°C to 270°C. These enhancements demonstrate improved physicochemical properties, making epoxidized jatropha oil a potential eco-friendly lubricant comparable to modern synthetic lubricants.
