Abstract

Student character education is very important in facing the challenges of the 21st century. This research aims to determine the level of student character education. Therefore, this research aims to analyze student character education in ninth-grade students. The methodology in this research uses a survey method involving 75 students who were taken at random (randomly). The instrument used was character education questions distributed via Google Forms. The data obtained was analyzed using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) application. Based on the survey results, it is known that the number of subjects consisted of 43 women and 32 men. and consisted of 4 tribes, namely Malay, Minang, Batak, and Javanese. Based on the survey results, it is also known that the average student's character education ability is in a good category with a score of 7.4, which can be explained in detail in 4 constructs, namely religious, honest, disciplined, creative, democratic, curious, caring for the environment, social caring and responsibility. In conclusion, the construct with the highest average value is environmental care and responsibility and originality with the same average value, namely 8.0, and the lowest is democracy and creativity, namely 7.2. The recommendation from this research is that the development of student character education still needs to be improved, and teachers can use the instruments used.

Abstract

The research instrument is an important factor in every study because it determines the accuracy of the research results which determines the conclusions. This tool is used to collect data and measure the object of a research variable. This research aims to re-test instruments related to learning motivation in the Natural Science lesson content for class V SDIT BPMAA Pekanbaru City which are valid and reliable which were previously developed by Aminatun, 2019. In the research These indicators of student learning motivation used are: (1) Perseverance in learning, (2) Tenacity in facing difficulties, (3) Interest and sharp attention in learning, (4) Achievement in learning, and (5) Independence in learning. This research involved 25 student respondents who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 23.00 for Windows. The results of the research show that the obtained rcount moves from 0.614-0.762 and < rtable = 0.396 with a significance level of 5%. So that the statement items of the student learning motivation instrument are declared valid. Then the calculation results show that the reliability of the student learning motivation instrument is 0.601 with a total of N=25 (number of respondents) of 0.60, resulting in a superior and high quality instrument. This instrument is suitable to be used to measure what should be used to measure and evaluate student learning motivation effectively.

Abstract

This study explores the significance, trends, and challenges of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the digital era. Through a comprehensive literature review and qualitative analysis, including interviews and case studies, the research highlights the substantial benefits of digitalization in HRM, such as increased operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced employee engagement and retention. However, it also identifies critical challenges, including resistance to change, a lack of digital skills, and data security concerns. The findings emphasize the importance of strategic approaches to overcoming these challenges, such as continuous digital skill development programs, fostering an organizational culture that supports innovation and flexibility, and investing in advanced data security technologies. The study concludes that successful digital transformation in HRM requires ongoing monitoring and evaluation, collaboration with experienced technology providers, and strong leadership support. Implementing these strategies can optimize HRM practices, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to achieving strategic goals and competitive advantage in the global market.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business era, companies need to adapt quickly to market changes while maintaining operational efficiency. The Agile and Lean Management Approach has emerged as an effective strategy to achieve this goal, with Agile emphasizes the flexibility and responsiveness of customer needs, while Lean focuses on reducing waste and increasing value. This research uses a qualitative approach to explore the application of agile and lean strategies in the context of the organization. Data was collected through in -depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and participatory observations in several companies that have implemented these two methodologies. Thematic analysis is used to identify the main patterns and themes of the data obtained. The results showed that the integration of agile and lean practices significantly improve operational performance and company responsiveness. Companies that apply these two approaches report improvements in customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and reduction of cycle time. In addition, the culture of sustainable improvement resulting from the application of these two methodologies contributes to the innovation and adaptability of the organization. To maximize the benefits of the application of Agile and Lean, companies are advised to provide adequate training to employees regarding the principles of the two approaches. Executive management support is also very important in creating an environment that supports change and innovation. With these steps, the organization can be better prepared to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in the changing market

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties of fifth grade students of SD Islam Babussalam Pekanbaru in understanding the material of the ecosystem of living things. The method used is qualitative with a case study design, involving 20 students and teachers through observation, interviews, and tests. The results show that students have difficulties in five aspects: interpreting (40%), exemplifying (60%), classifying (20%), inferencing (50%), and explaining (50%). These difficulties are caused by a lack of understanding of concepts and the use of complex scientific terms. As a solution, it is recommended to apply varied learning methods, increase interaction, and utilize learning media, including videos, which can be accessed at any time. This study highlights the importance of developing appropriate learning media to improve students' understanding of science material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media lectora pada materi daur hidup hewan. Penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4-D. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 3 ahli dalam menentukan tingkat kevalidan media terhadap 24 orang peserta didik untuk mengukur tingkat kepraktisan dari suatu media yang dikembangkan. Data nya diperoleh melalui lembar validasi dan angket respon peserta didik. Data dianalisis menggunakn persentase, maka diperoleh tingkat kevalidan 72% sementara kepraktisannya 73% dengan kategori praktis. Oleh karena itu, media lectora ini dapat diimplementasikan didalam proses belajar mengjar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media lectora pada materi daur hidup hewan. Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran matematika tidak lagi mengutamakan pada penyerapan melalui pencapaian informasi, tetapi lebih mengutamakan pada pengembangan kemampuan dan pemrosesan informasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan perbaikan dan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Matematika dengan materi Bangun Datar melalui media Puzzle. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari perecanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi (evaluasi). Pada penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 20 orang peserta didik di kelas II SD Negeri 016 Suka Mulya. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa peserta didik mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar Siklus 1 dengan rata-rata 76,45 (60% ketuntasan). Sedangkan pada siklus 2 memiliki rata-rata 89,35 (90% ketuntasan). Selanjutnya untuk aktivitas siswa terjadi peningkatan keterlibatan, ketekunan, kerja kelompok dalam proses pembelajaran dari Siklus 1 ke Siklus 2. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Sehingga setiap pendidik wajib atau sebaiknya menyediakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dan menarik dalam proses pemebelajaran.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa mengalami kesulitan untuk merangkai kata menjadi suatu kalimat yang padu, sehingga hasil kalimat menjadi tidak jelas dan makna kalimat tidak dapat dimengerti. Membaca adalah suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi atau pesan yang disampaikan oleh penulis kepada pembaca melalui tulisan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran model example non example dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari perecanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi (evaluasi). Pada penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 29 orang peserta didik di kelas I SD Negeri 010 Siabu. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa peserta didik mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar Siklus 1 dengan rata-rata 82,75 (65,51% ketuntasan). Sedangkan pada siklus 2 memiliki rata-rata 94,82 (89,65% ketuntasan). Selanjutnya untuk aktivitas siswa terjadi peningkatan keterlibatan, ketekunan, kerja kelompok dalam proses pembelajaran dari Siklus 1 ke Siklus 2. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan tipe example non example dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Sehingga setiap pendidik wajib atau sebaiknya menyediakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dan menarik dalam proses pemebelajaran.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are the ability to engage in a specific activity, process, or procedure. This study aims to measure students' critical thinking skills in ecology and biodiversity. The method used in this study is a survey. Based on the survey results, it is known that the number of test items is 10 items distributed into 6 indicators. The number of research subjects is 35 students from junior high school level and consists of several ethnic groups such as Malay, Batak, Minang, and Sundanese. Based on the assessment of students' critical thinking skills in ecology and biodiversity, the average percentage of critical thinking skills reached 82.29%. With a percentage of 82.29%, it can be concluded that the majority of students are able to perform well in these aspects, thus categorized as "Very Good". This indicates a positive achievement in learning ecology and biodiversity.
