Abstract

Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang menjadikan peserta didik sebagai pusat pembelajaran sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran kimia, sehingga peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif dan berdampak pada peningkatan keterampilan proses sains. Model Pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui kegiatan fun chemistry diharapkan dapat membuat pembelajaran kimia menjadi lebih menyenangkan, kemudian peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif, sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI SMK Analis Kimia YPPT Majalengka 2017/2018. Langkah-langkah yang dilaksanakan dalam model PjBL meliputi penentuan pertanyaan, perancangan proyek, penyusunan jadwal, monitor setiap kemajuan proyek, presentasi hasil dan penilaian serta evaluasi. Penguasaan konsep materi yang menghasilkan prestasi peserta didik diukur melalui teknik One Group Pretest and Postest Design, kemudian tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran diamati pada tiap tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis proyek sesuai dengan sintaksnya dan aspek kinerja digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik sebesar 40,7% dan meningkatkan kinerja peserta didik pada setiap tahapan proses sains yang dilakukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan menganalisis kesulitan guru – guru pendidikan kimia dalam mengajar IPA Terpadu tingkat menengah pertama pada sekolah berbasis pesantren serta memberikan rekomendasi positif untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yakni dengan memberikan penjelasan secara deskriptif hasil analisis yang dilakukan, dengan menggunakan analisis data wawancara dengan model open-ended question. Peneliti melibatkan 3 guru pendidikan kimia yang mengajar IPA terpadu di kelas dan tempat yang berbeda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui 3 kali pengambilan data melalui metode wawancara untuk masing – masing guru. Hasil analisis penelitian ini memberikan solusi agar guru harus menguasai kemampuan PTCK untuk memberikan inovasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan kemampuan untuk menyusun RPP serta bahan ajar yang tepat disesuaikan dengan kurikulum sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan perkuliahan media pembelajaran kimia (MPK) berbasis moodle dengan menggunakan model PjBL di rumah selama masa wabah pandemic Covid-19 melanda di Indonesia dan respon mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan perkuliahanannya. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 18 mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia di Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner terbuka online dalam format google form dan diisi secara online oleh mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis isi (content analysis). Dua tema yang muncul dalam data adalah pelaksanaan dan respon perkuliahan media pembelajaran kimia berbasis moodle menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Perkuliahan media pembelajaran kimia berbasis moodle dengan menggunakan model PjBL efektif untuk penguasan konsep dan mahasiswa merespon secara positif sebagai model pembelajaran di rumah. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini model PjBL berbasis moodle sangat sesuai diterapkan pada perkuliahan Media Pembelajaran Kimia dengan sistem online selama masa pandemic Covid-19, karena dapat menguatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam berpikir kritis, analitis, kreatif dan produktif.

Abstract

Hasil wawancara dengan guru kimia di salah satu sekolah MAN di kota Cirebon pada tanggal 10 September2017 menunjukkan data bahwa pembelajaran kimia khususnya pada materi struktur atom belummenerapkan pembelajaran berbasis qur’ani. Fakta tersebut menggambarkan rendahnya penerapan nilai –nilai islami di sekolah yang berada dalam lingkungan Departemen Agama melalui Al-Qur’an. Padahal jikakita tinjau lebih dalam materi struktur atom banyak mengungkap banyak sekali gejala alam yang dijelaskandalam Al-qur’an. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu memberikan masukan mengenai materi kimia padastruktur atom yang terintegrasi Al-qur’an. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis materi struktur atomyang berkaitan dengan penjelasan yang terdapat pada terjemahan Al-qur’an dan Al-Hadits. Metodepenelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 15 ayat Al-qur’an terintegrasi dengan materistruktur atom. (2). Materi Struktur Atom menggunakan model pengintegrasian nested dengan memasukkanayat – ayat qur’ani dan perhitungan numerik baik jumlah ayat, no surat, maupun no juz dalam setiap subbab materi kimia.

Abstract

Low learning activity in science students causes a decrease in critical thinking skills. This can be seen from the results of learning redox material under the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) of 75 in one of the high schools in Cirebon. Therefore, this study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills by using the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) model for redox material in class X IPA MAN 1 Cirebon City. The research method used a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling was carried out by Purposive sampling consisting of class X IPA 5 as an experimental class and class X IPA 4 as a control class. The instruments used are critical thinking ability tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The selection of a sample based on the KKM of a class was revealed from discussions with a chemistry teacher. The development of the T-test obtained a sig value. 0.000 0.05 and an n-gain score of 0.71 with the highest category. The results showed improved critical thinking skills after being given STEM learning. Students respond very well to the teaching that has been done using the STEM model. Based on the results of the t-test and N-gain test, it can be concluded that the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills on redox material.

Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi sebagai pencetak generasi penerus bangsa memiliki peranan penting dalam pencapaian target SDGs yang diintegrasikan ke dalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya dalam bidang pengabdian. Cirebon merupakan wilayah pesisir pantai yang masyarakatnya bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan atau sebagai produsen yang mengolah hasil laut. Desa Mertasinga merupakan desa di wilayah Kecamatan Gunungjati Kabupaten Cirebon yang memiliki potensi laut yang cukup tinggi karena terletak di pesisir laut Pantura. Salah satu hasil laut yang cukup melimpah yaitu rajungan. Salah satu alternatif upaya pemaafaatan limbang cangkang rajungan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dan daya guna adalah dengan mengolahnya menjadi kitosan. Metode dalam pengabdian kali ini menggunakan metode Asset Based Commuity Development (ABCD). Tim KKN-PPM Universitas Muhammadiyah bermitra dengan salah produsen limbah cangkang rajungan melakukan demonstrasi dan pelatihan pembuatan kitosan dari cangkang rajungan. Program KKN-PPM ini dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan melalui beberapa tahapan: (1) Pembuatan kitosan dalam skala laboratorium dengan berbahan limbah cangkang rajungan. (2) Pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Mertasinga melalui pelatihan dan keterampilan pembuatan kitosan dari limbah cangkang rajungan. (3) Pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Mertasinga dengan memberikan pelatihan dan keterampilan bagaimana mengaplikasikan kitosan sebagai absorben. Hasil dari pelatihan diketahui dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah limbah cangkang rajungan menjadi kitosan dan mengaplikasikan kitin dan kitosan dalam berbagai bidang industri.

Abstract

 So far, the increase in coffee bean utilization is not directly proportional to itsenvironmental impact. The benefits of coffee beans for health should align with how coffeewaste is also valuable in strengthening the community's economy. Educational steps areneeded for coffee cafes as waste producers. As university personnel, we should mediate thisgap. Community service activities are carried out at QQ café as part of a coffee wasteprogram to be used by farmer groups (POKTAN) Mrengkel I, Pabedilan District, CirebonRegency. This community service activity aims to educate the public how coffee wasteproduced routinely by QQ café as much as 4-5 kg in a week, can be absorbed by theMrengkel I group, Pabedilan District, Cirebon Regency as a party who needs coffee wasteas an alternative to organic fertilizer. Service activities are carried out for four months. Theresults showed that waste management started with sorting techniques on the part of coffeewaste producers for four months, continued at the fermentation step of waste that wassuccessfully collected in a particular vessel, and then ended with waste being handed overto the farming community along with a book on the use of coffee grounds to be used as analternative to organic fertilizer at least succeeded in educating and mediating one party tothe other. That way, the community service activities that we carry out are a form ofdissemination of our research results in educating the public while developing science andtechnology.

Abstract

Abstract. Early marriage is one of the social phenomena where marriage occurs due to unwanted pregnancy, due to promiscuous sexual behavior. The impact of early marriage is that adolescents who experience drowning syndrome during pregnancy so that their children have low birth weight (BBLR) and also miscarriages. The purpose of this community service is to provide counseling in the form of a talk show about the prevention of early marriage through the consumption of healthy food based on ancient agriculture and to find out the response of residents to the talk show activities carried out. The method used by the author in this study is using the following methods: (a) a survey of residents who have been married early, (b) sharing and discussing talk show materials with ancient agricultural experts and (c) interviews with residents regarding the response in these activities. The results of this counseling activity provide education that is quite effective to increase the knowledge of adolescents, regarding the prevention of early marriage which is carried out by consuming healthy food by participating in ancient agricultural activities. The social impact of residents gives a positive response to the talk show activities, the environmental impact felt is the enthusiasm of residents to participate in the implementation of ancient agriculture, and the economic impact is that through the ancient agriculture program, residents are not only equipped with knowledge but can create businesses by producing several products with economic value.

Abstract

The preliminary study data shows that the argumentation ability in SMA 8 Kota Cirebon is relatively low, this shows that the argumentation ability of students has not been stimulated properly. The Project Based Learning model is here to train students' argumentation ability. Using an experimental method with Quasi Experimental Design. The sample of this study was the control and experimental classes. The assessment technique was in the form of observation sheets and t-tests. The results of the study showed that the project based learning model can train argumentation ability through its syntax, t-test and n-gain test there were significant values ​​with t-test results of 0.05 <0.01 while in the n-gain test with a result of 67.25% with a fairly effective category, so that argumentation ability is at level 3. The conclusion that can be drawn from the application of this project based learning model can train argumentation ability.
