Gambaran Learning Engagement Ditinjau dari IPK (Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif) Akademik Mahasiswa Lovita, Lovita; Idulfilastri, Rita Markus

Abstract

Keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran tidak hanya dilihat dari kehadiran, melainkan juga partisipasi aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan belajar, seperti diskusi, tanya jawab, dan mengerjakan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan learning engagement mahasiswa ditinjau dari IPK (Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode statistik deskriptif dan populasinya adalah mahasiswa. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 62 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik non-probability sampling dengan convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah University Student Engagement Inventory (USEI) terdiri dari tiga dimensi yaitu keterlibatan perilaku, keterlibatan kognitif, dan keterlibatan emosional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pada uji beda IPK, usia, jenis kelamin, perguruan tinggi, fakultas, dan semester terhadap learning engagement beserta dimensinya. Namun terdapat perbedaan pada usia berdasarkan dimensi keterlibatan perilaku p < 0.042 (p < 0.05) kemudian pada semester berdasarkan total learning engagement terdapat perbedaan p < 0.039 ( p < 0.05), dimensi keterlibatan perilaku p < 0.011 ( p < 0.05), dimensi keterlibatan emosional p < 0.017 ( p < 0.05). Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil perbandingan antara semester terhadap learning engagement beserta ketiga dimensi menunjukkan bahwa mean semester 3 rendah dari semester 5. Hasil perbandingan IPK menunjukkan hasil mean IPK 3.01 – 3.50 lebih besar dibandingkan IPK 3.51 – 4.00.

Abstract

Pancasila memiliki peran penting sebagai landasan hukum untuk mencapai keadilan sosial di Indonesia serta merupakan dasar negara Indonesia yang mencakup nilai-nilai kesetaraan, kesatuan yang harmonis, dan kemakmuran bagi masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini disosialisasikan kepada siswa-siswi SMPN X Jakarta Barat sebagai bagian dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Tarumanagara. Program ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan pemahaman tentang sila kelima Pancasila, "Keadilan Sosial bagi Seluruh Rakyat Indonesia," dalam konteks penegakan hukum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, yang melibatkan presentasi, diskusi, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata post-test dibanding pre-test, namun perbedaan tersebut tidak signifikan secara statistik. Meskipun demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membangun kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya nilai-nilai keadilan sosial dan hukum dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of educational technology has introduced sophisticated tools to improve classroom instruction, but students often struggle to understand abstract concepts through traditional methods. This literature review aims to analyze the role and effectiveness of deep learning-based interactive visual media in improving students' understanding of concepts in various subjects. This study uses a systematic literature review method by synthesizing academic journals, research reports, and pedagogical publications in the past decade to test the synergy between artificial intelligence-based interactive media and student learning outcomes. The analysis shows that deep learning-based interactive visual media effectively enhances cognitive engagement, facilitates the simplification of complex concepts, and improves memory retention by providing a personalized and adaptive learning experience. It is concluded that the integration of interactive visual media powered by deep learning is a significant pedagogical advance, offering educators a dynamic tool to foster deeper understanding of concepts and active student participation.
