Abstract

Setelah mengikuti pelatihan pada acara pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Komputerisasi Akuntansi (KOMPAK) Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin pada tahun akademik 2019, dimana tema pengabdian yang diangkat “Ppm Pelatihan Bagi Guru-Guru SDIT Al-Firdaus Dalam Pemakaian dan Pembuatan Bahan Ajar Interaktif Siswa Berbasis Audio Visual Menggunakan Microsoft Power Point”, maka pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang sama prodi KOMPAK mengadakan kembali sosialisasi kepada pengajar SDIT AL FIRDAUS dengan kegiatan pelatihan dengan tema pembuatan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia yaitu “Pelatihan Bagi Guru-Guru SDIT Al-Firdaus Dalam Pembuatan Konten Bahan Ajar Interaktif Siswa Berbasis Audio Visual Menggunakan Microsoft Power Point”. Kegiatan ini diharapkan sebagai pengembangan dari materi selanjutnya yang dititik beratkan pada jenis model pembelajaran yang bisa dibuat sebagai inovasi materi ajar. Sebagai keberlanjutan program ini, diharapkan para pengajar di SDIT AL FIRDAUS selain dapat memahami dan memakai media multimedia sebagai media pengajaran, namun lebih diutamakan dapat melakukan pengembangan pengetahuan dalam pemanfaatan media multimedia khususnya melakukan inovasi terhadap model pembalajaran dengan memanfaatkan media ajar berbasis multimedia. Hampir semua peserta antusias dan merasakan manfaat pelatihan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian untuk guru-guru SD IT Al Firdaus Banjarmasin dapat disimpulkan berhasil sampai tahap pelatihan penyelesaian pembuatan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia. Keberhasilan ini ditunjukkan antara lain oleh : Adanya kesesuaian materi dengan kebutuhan guru-guru untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Adanya respon yang positif dari peserta mengingat kegiatan pengabdian merupakan kebutuhan guru-guru untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Sebagian besar (90%) peserta telah memahami teori dan implementasi Microsoft Power Point berbasis multimedia Kata kunci :Media Pembelajaran, Konten bahan ajar, power point, multimedia

Abstract

Plastic waste is a significant environmental challenge, but its management is still not fully effective. Common methods such as garbage disposal, combustion, and recycling have their limitations, especially the release of harmful compounds during low-temperature plastic burning. Therefore, research continues to look for better solutions. One promising approach is pyrolysis, a process in which plastic molecules break down at high temperatures in an inert gas environment. Pyrolysis produces solid, liquid, and gas products, with liquids potentially functioning as biofuels after further repairs. The study discussed the influence of temperature and time on the pyrolysis of HDPE and PET plastics. The results showed that temperature is a critical factor, with a limited reaction temperature between 500 °C and 700 °C. Results of the pyrolyse process include tar/liquid and char/ solid residues. Strangely, 3 kg HDPE produce the highest amount of tar, about 973 ml, while 3 kg PET produce the least, about 89 ml. Overall, achieving a uniform heat distribution and optimal temperature is crucial to improving the efficiency and quality of the pirolysis product.

Abstract

Technology is an essential thing to support the learning process. Its use makes the teachers and students more accessible in the learning process and creates a pleasant atmosphere in the class, particularly during this covid 19 pandemic. Practically, even though technology positively impacts learning, not all teachers have sufficient technical skills to operate the learning application of online teaching. Therefore this study aims to analyze the english lecturers using technology for teaching online class. This study is using qualitative with narrative design research. Data collection of using technology in online classes involving difficulty and its solutions are narrated based on two English lecturer’s experience. The subjectof this study is two English lecturers in for exploring their experiences of using technology for teaching online class during this crucial situation of covid 19. All the data is analyzed thematically by organizing it based on the questions of interview. The findings present the strengths and the weaknesses of technology in online learning, and the way of overcoming the problem of using technology.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the global automotive industry requires vocational graduates who are proficient not only in technical skills but also in English, the lingua franca of technology and professional communication. However, many Indonesian vocational students face persistent challenges in mastering discipline-specific English due to the scarcity of contextualized learning materials. To address this gap, the present study employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology to systematically design, develop, and validate a tailored English for Specific Purposes (ESP) e-module for automotive engineering students at Banjarmasin State Polytechnic. The R&D process consisted of four stages: needs analysis through curriculum review and student questionnaires, design and development of the e-module integrating authentic automotive contexts and multimedia features, pilot implementation with students, and evaluation through expert validation and learner feedback. Expert assessments confirmed the module’s high validity, with scores of 4.7 for linguistic aspects and 4.4 for technical content, while student evaluations emphasized strong relevance (83.3% agreement), accuracy (84.6% agreement), and usability, though language clarity required refinement to accommodate varied proficiency levels. These findings demonstrate that the developed e-module effectively bridges technical and linguistic competencies, enhances learners’ engagement with authentic materials, and strengthens their communicative readiness for professional practice. The study contributes to ESP pedagogy by offering an empirically validated model for integrating technical content with task-based language learning, and its broader implication lies in advancing vocational education to better align with global industry standards in an increasingly digitalized era.

Abstract

Handwashing with Soap (CTPS) is a government priority program to promote healthy living awareness, as regulated in Ministry of Health Regulation No. 3 of 2014 and Law No. 36 of 2009. However, public awareness of CTPS in Indonesia remains relatively low. This community service activity was carried out in collaboration with the Family Hope Program (PPKH) facilitators in Banjarmasin, targeting beneficiary families (KPM) living in densely populated areas with a high risk of disease transmission. The main issue identified was the lack of knowledge and skills in practicing proper handwashing. The solution provided was health education on CTPS using digital flipchart media. The activity was held on July 29, 2025, with 32 participants. The results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding, skills, and awareness of the six proper handwashing steps according to health standards. This program effectively encouraged the habit of practicing clean and healthy living behaviors among social assistance beneficiaries.
