Abstract

This research explores the use of online learning platforms by students of the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar and its impact on social phenomena. Mixed quantitative and qualitative methods were used, with the survey focused on 22 students. Additionally, 24% of students see increased social interaction, while 40% appreciate time flexibility. Despite the benefits, technical challenges (9%) and adaptation difficulties (16%) remain barriers. Limited internet access (75%) is in focus, highlighting the importance of adequate technological infrastructure. It found that 40% of students developed virtual social skills, but 16% felt the lack of face-to-face interaction affected the quality of learning. Economic challenges (9%) and limited device access (11%) were also identified. The importance of independent learning is reflected by 40% of students who feel it, and online assignments are considered to increase engagement (40%). Despite the benefits, 11% of students experienced increased academic stress. Social media integration was assessed positively by 40% of students.

Abstract

This paper examines how educational taxonomy can be used as a reference in developing three important aspects in students, so that holistic national education goals can be achieved optimally. In this paper, the author uses a descriptive qualitative method with the main data source from library data. Furthermore, the collected data is coded, reduced and conclusions are drawn according to the needs of the research data. The results of the study indicate that Bloom’s Taxonomy is a conceptual framework developed to classify educational goals into systematic categories. This concept was first introduced by Benjamin S. Bloom with a group of education experts in 1956. This taxonomy aims to provide guidance to educators in designing, implementing, and evaluating the learning process in a more focused and measurable manner. In addition, the domain of knowledge (cognitive) in Taxonomy is related to memory, thinking and reasoning processes. The domain of knowledge includes two dimensions, namely (1) cognitive processes, and (2) types of knowledge.

Abstract

This study discusses validity and rehabilitation. Validity and reliability are two important aspects in learning evaluation that complement each other. Validity ensures that the assessment tool actually measures the intended competency or ability, while reliability ensures that the assessment results are consistent and stable over time, between assessors, and between question forms. Valid assessments represent learning content and are relevant to the objectives to be achieved, while reliable assessments produce reliable data as a basis for decision making. Without validity, assessments become irrelevant. Without reliability, assessment results cannot be relied on. Therefore, in learning practices, teachers must ensure that the evaluation instruments used have high validity and reliability so that the assessment process is objective, fair, accurate, and truly reflects students' actual abilities.

Abstract

The study of the yellow book is one of the most important traditions in the world of boarding schools that have always played a major role in shaping the character and knowledge of students. However, amid the rapidly changing times, a new challenge emerges: how to make the study of the Yellow Book remain relevant to the needs of today’s students living in an all-digital world and full of social dynamics. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of yellow book study in Makassar Multidimensional Alfakhriyah Boarding School using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research was conducted with a contextual qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The evaluation results show that contextually, the book study program is still very important and relevant. In terms of inputs, the quality of teaching is excellent, yet it is still constrained by facilities and minimal utilization of technology. The learning process begins to shift from one-way methods to a more interactive and dialogic two-way approach. Meanwhile, the learning results showed that students were quite mastering the content of the book textually, but still needed reinforcement in critical thinking and the ability to communicate knowledge to the public. Based on these findings, it is recommended that boarding schools begin to pursue more contextualized curriculum innovations, opening spaces for exploration in learning, as well as equipping students with skills that support their role amid modern society.
