Abstract

The background of this research is to see the ability of KPI Study Program students in implementing effective communication in the thesis completion process. This type of research is a field research (Field Research) with a qualitative approach that describes what is about a situation. In this study, the authors describe the implementation of effective communication between students and lecturers in the process of completing the thesis at the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program, State Islamic University Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of effective communication between students and lecturers that is applied or carried out in the process of completing the thesis is said to be good. So that there is a reciprocal relationship between the communicant and the communicator in the continuity of the thesis completion process. The application of effective communication applied by students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program and lecturers at the State Islamic University of Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi in the process of completing student thesis, among others, by paying attention to the condition of the communicant. themselves, convey the content of the message in the form of language that is easy to understand and understand. , making short points in communication, explaining the intent and purpose before interacting, accompanied by body language so that the message can be conveyed properly, using ethics in communicating and also paying attention and listening to the other person when communicating and using media to support communication. continuation of the thesis completion process. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of transcendental communication in the art of Islamic calligraphy at Sanggar Al-Fath Tanjung Kuras. In Islam, every work of art is another form of worship (as a form of devotion to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala), moreover the art that is made is the art of calligraphy which contains verses of the Qur'an, in addition to writing the khattat also reading the meaning of the verse so that the message is conveyed clearly. The artistic value of calligraphy is found in how khattat presents implied meanings directly to the mind. This is evidenced by the way calligraphy conveys sacred messages from the verses of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study, the researchers found several elements that include transcendental communication, namely the communicator (Allah), the communicant (khattat), the message (the verses of the Qur'an which are usually written by khattat in the Al-Fath Studio, including: Lafadz Basmalah, QS. Al-'Alaq 1-5, QS. Al-Ikhlas, QS. Al-Insyirah, QS. Ali-Imran 119), channel (calligraphy writing written by khattat in Al-Fath Studio Tanjung Kuras), results (facilitates the khattats in memorizing the Qur'an, increasing the love of the Qur'an and training the patience of the khattats, besides that it can also increase the talent of the khattat Al-Fath Studio for the art of Islamic calligraphy) and feedback (calm and patience too) felt when writing divine messages). Therefore, Islamic calligraphy is used as a form of worship by khattat to get closer to Allah by reading and writing verses of the Qur'an and understanding every message written. Abstract

This research is to find how much influence the use of social media Instagram has on the religious behavior of students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Padang Panjang city. This research uses the Taro Yamane formula. The population in this study was 214 students and the sample was 69 students. The method used is to use quantitative research whit the type of field research. Sampling technique is propotional random sampling. The questionnaire that the researchers distributed was by using a Likert Scale. Analisys prerequisite test, namely normality test and linearity test. Hypothesis testing is done by comparing the Fcalculated whit the Ftable whit a precision level of 10%. The result of research conducted using the SPSS version 16.0 program show the Fcalculated is (158,754) with Ftable of (2,78), based on the above calculations it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and HO is rejected, it can be interpreted that there is a significant influence between the variables of use Instagram social media on the religious behavior of students at the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Padang Panjang City. Abstract

The taklim assembly is one of the centers of religious mental development in the community. In this case, the taklim assembly is a place for religious education that can shape human behavior, especially for the lives of teenagers in Nagari Lunang. There are still many teenagers who lack the understanding and practice of religious values. In addition, the damaged behavior of teenagers is also the background for the formation of this white mujahidah taklim assembly. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the white mujahidah taklim assembly on increasing adolescent religiosity in Nagari Lunang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely by collecting data from the field related to the subject matter of the research. The informants in this study amounted to 15 people. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, for data analysis, researchers used three activity lines, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study, it was found that the role of the white mujahidah taklim assembly on increasing adolescent religiosity in Nagari Lunang, among others, was as a forum for fostering faith and piety such as increasing worship, one of which was prayer and sunnah fasting, as a place for forming morals for teenagers, for example in efforts to establish return to deviant behaviors such as changing the lifestyle of teenagers both from the way they speak, how to behave in life, although there are still some teenagers who have not been able to change their behavior in the community. as a place of family education such as making a major contribution in solving the problems experienced by the congregation. Then as a place to study Religious Studies, there are still some teenagers who do not take part in these activities and are even busy with other matters. Abstract

As a social being, a person cannot be separated from the process of communication. With communication someone will learn to interact and communicate to be able to relate to fellow citizens. With communication one can convey the intent and purpose to be desired. Communication does not only occur in society in general but also occurs in families who have children with special needs such as children with autism. Autistic children are children who have deficiencies in language, communication and interaction with the environment. Therefore it is very important the role of parents to guide autistic children so that they can grow like children in general. This research is motivated by the situation of autistic children who have many deficiencies in terms of communicating in the family environment. The purpose of this research is to find out how parents communicate with autistic children who have difficulties in communicating and interacting. Then to find out the inhibiting factors in interpersonal communication between parents and children with autism. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, research data collection methods, researchers carry out observations, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained are that in communicating with autistic children, parents as message senders have an attraction in inviting children to communicate, the use of verbal and non-verbal language in communicating is adjusted to the content of the message to be conveyed to children. selection of media to facilitate communication such as toys, colorful objects and props in communication. Then an open attitude to children makes it easier to communicate with autistic children. It can be seen that the inhibiting factors in interpersonal communication are speech barriers, semantic barriers and psychological barriers.  Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Parents, Children with Autism
