Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan akulturasi budaya dalam dakwah Sultan Hadirin pada masa penyebaran Islam Sunan Kudus. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan mendeskripsikan proses akulturasi budaya dalam dakwah Sultan Hadirin di Desa Loram Kulon. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Akulturasi budaya dalam dakwah Sultan Hadirin menempatkan budaya masyarakat Loram Kulon yang masyarakatnya beragama Hindu sebagai entitas yang menerima budaya Islam sebagai budaya baru dalam sistem sosial budaya masyarakat. Akulturasi budaya dalam dakwah Sultah Hadirin terdapat dalam dua bentuk, yaitu dalam bentuk visual dan ritual. Bangunan Gapura Masjid Wali merupakan wujud visual akulturasi antara Agama Hindu dan Islam dalam dakwah Sultan Hadirin, sebab bangunan Gapura menyerupai pura serta berdiri di depan Masjid Wali. Akulturasi budaya dalam bentuk ajaran teraktualisasikan dalam ritual kepelan, nganten mubeng gapuro, serta ampyang maulid.

Abstract

Abstract This article discusses the value of Islamic education in the Javanese tradition left by Walisanga. Islamic education through walisanga propaganda can be said as a unique education, because Islamic education at the time of Walisanga often used traditions that already existed in the life of the Javanese community in general as a medium for conveying messages which might be completely different if we look at how Islam in Mecca. Therefore do not be surprised if the continuity of the tradition left by Walisanga is still felt or preserved to this day, this is certainly inseparable from the values contained in every ritual of religious traditions left by Walisanga. In general, the value of Islamic education in the legacy of Walisanga includes issues of faith and social life. Keywords: Values, Islamic Education, Tradition Abstrak Artikel ini membahas mengenai nilai pendidikan Islam dalam tradisi Masyarakat Jawa yang ditinggalkan oleh Walisanga. Pendidikan Islam melalui dakwah walisanga boleh dikatakan sebagai pendidikan yang unik, sebab pendidikan Islam pada masa Walisanga kerap menggunakan tradisi yang sudah ada di dalam kehidupan Masyarakat Jawa pada umumnya sebagai media penyampai pesan yang hal ini barangkali samasekali berbeda jika kita lihat bagaimana Islam di Makkah. Oleh karenanya tidak heran jika keberlangsungan tradisi yang ditinggalkan oleh Walisanga masih dirasakan atau dilestarikan sampai saat ini, hal ini tentunya tidak terlepas dari nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam setiap ritual tradisi keagamaan yang ditinggalkan oleh Walisanga. Abstract

Learning for children with disabilities necessitates specialized approaches to ensure the attainment of educational objectives. However, the heterogeneity of students with special needs within a single educational institution presents unique challenges in addressing their diverse educational requirements. This study aims to explore inclusion-based Islamic education at SMALB Semarang. Employing a qualitative research methodology with a case study approach, data was collected through interviews with the school principal, three teachers, ten students, and ten student guardians. Observations focused on the learning process and the interaction between students and teachers, while documentation provided insights into school records. Data analysis involved categorizing, coding, and identifying themes relevant to the research topic. The findings revealed that students at SMALB Semarang were classified into two categories: C (mentally retarded) and D (physically impaired). The learning process was tailored to the needs of students, who were grouped into several classes based on criteria such as religion and type of disability. Addressing the diversity in Islamic education involved curriculum adjustments and the formation of specific study groups. The Islamic learning process utilized various tools, including embossed media, visual aids, and hearing devices. For students with type C disabilities, the Islamic education process frequently involved repetition of learning materials. Embracing student diversity based on disability type and religion is crucial for effectively conveying and ensuring the acceptance of Islamic teachings among the appropriate student groups.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the success of the Prophet Muhammad SAW's preaching in Medina, so that this success includes the character values taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW as the main role model for Muslims. This research is qualitative literature research with a historical approach. So data collection was carried out by examining historical texts through books, journals and other documents relevant to the study topic, and then presented descriptively.  Data collection was carried out by examining historical texts through books, journals and other documents relevant to the study topic, and then presented descriptively. The results of this research show that the success of the Prophet Muhammad's preaching in Medina cannot be separated from the prophet's humanist behavior, obedience to Allah SWT, ukhuwah, peace and unity. Meanwhile, in cultivating these character values, mentoring, stories and example methods can be used.

Abstract

The recent rise in bullying cases that have hit various educational institutions at all levels has caused profound problems. More than that, Indonesia is currently ranked 5th in the world in cases of bullying in educational institutions. This research aims to examine spiritual approaches in learning to improve anti-bullying based learning. This research is qualitative field research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing school principals, teachers and students, observing the implementation of anti-bullying-based education with a spiritual approach and documenting school documents, like; lesson plans, report and school collaboration documents. Data analysis was carried out by sorting, grouping, coding and then looking for appropriate themes for interpretation. The research results show that a spiritual learning approach can be carried out by strengthening learning materials and integrating learning materials. Reinforcing learning has a greater impact compared to integrating learning. The importance of learning with a spiritual approach to the development of students is the internalization of noble religious teachings. So that it can form good behavior and keep students away from bullying behavior that currently still often occurs among Indonesian students.

Abstract

Religious character education is a serious challenge for formal educational institutions in Indonesia, especially when facing an era of disruption that has seen educational institutions digitized. Various efforts have been made, including integrating formal educational institutions with madrasah diniyah to strive for the development of students' religious character. Based on this, this research aims to examine education in madrasah diniyah, the integration model between madrasah diniyah and formal educational institutions, and the results of this integration. This research is qualitative, using a case study approach. This research was conducted at three educational institutions, namely Madrasah Diniyah Al-Furqon, MI Al-Furqon, and SDN 3 Panjang. The results of the research show that religious education at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Furqon has built a religious foundation and also the religious character of students. From this, institutional integration has been formed between Madrasah Diniyah Al-Furqon and MI Al-Furqon and cultural integration between Madrasah Diniyah Al-Furqon and SDN 3 Panjang. This integration makes students have deeper values: social awareness, discipline, worship, politeness, and also Islamic knowledge are greater than students who do not study at madrasah diniyah.

Abstract

Purpose – The Industrial Revolution 4.0, which facilitates open internet access, has presented an era of disruption in human life. The impact is the rapid dissemination of news and information in society. Using religious issues in Indonesia, the radicalism (radical movements) use this situation to spread provocations through social media. This study aims to examine deradicalization efforts through the development of intellectual traditions at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School Semarang (Pondok Pesantren Fadhlul Fadhlan Semarang). Design/methods/approach – This research is a qualitative field research with a case study approach. Field data were obtained through observation, documentation, and interview techniques on two groups of resource persons, boarding school caregivers (Kiyai, Bu Nyai) and 20 students. Findings – Deradicalization efforts at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School are carried out without any social frictions, namely by developing digitalization of pesantren traditions, such as creating content for yellow book recitation, halaqah, and seminars. These activities can be accessed not only by students but also by the general public through Pesantren's digital media like YouTube and Facebook. Research implications/limitations – This study provides a scientific contribution that has a significant impact on the learning development in Islamic boarding schools in the disruption era. However, some limitations still exist, such as limited research places, namely only conducted in one Islamic boarding school. Therefore, similar research needs to be carried out in other Islamic boarding schools to strengthen or develop deradicalization models in Islamic boarding schools. Originality/value – Digital technology has a significant role in the dynamics of Salaf Islamic boarding schools (pesantren salaf). These findings contribute to the discourse of education in Islamic boarding schools that can adapt to modern educational paradigms. From this discourse, it was found that the integration of Islamic boarding schools with modern technology can be a means of massive deradicalization.

Abstract

Maraknya kasus bullying yang akhir-akhir ini telah melanda berbagai institusi pendidikan di Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa masih lemahnya pendidikan akhlak dan spiritual di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti tentang model pendidikan Islam prespektif filosof Islam klasik sebagai model pengembangan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif kepustakaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan dokumen, manuskrip, jurnal dan buku yang relefan dengan topik kajian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengurutkan, mengelompokkan, memberi kode dan kemudian dicari tema-tema yang sesuai untuk dilakukan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pendidikan Islam prespektif filosof Islam klasik berfokus pada pengembangan aklhak dan spiritualitas manusia. Oleh karenanya, dalam konteks keIndonesiaan, pendidikan yang berorientasi pada pengembangan spiritualitas dan akhlak anak didik sangat dibutuhkan, sebab model pendidikan Islam prespektif filosof Islam klasik dapat menumbuhkan rasa kemanusiaan dan persaudaraan antar anak didik.

Abstract

Religious diversity in a country is natural, but even so, an arrangement within the country is needed to accommodate differences in religion and belief. Without a fair arrangement, this can make the state less stable and cause religious conflicts in a country.This article examines Pancasila as the state ideology in forming religious tolerance. This research is a qualitative research with a literature study approach, namely by using books, documents, journals and other related sources as sources of research data. This study discussed about Pancasila as state ideology and religion, Pancasila Philosophy in Islamic Views, and Pancasila as an ideology forming religious tolerance. While data analysis is carried out by grouping, sorting and then looking for themes that are in accordance with the focus of research for later interpretation. Results of studi show;1) Pancasila as the state ideology has been fully supported by religious normativity. 2) The values and norms contained in Pancasila have compatibility with the values that become the teachings of Islam. and 3) Pancasila plays an important role in creating religious tolerance, mutual respect and respect for adherents of other religions, and not forcing beliefs on other parties.
