Abstract

Active student learning is an approach in which students are actively involved in the learning process, not just as passive recipients of information from the teacher. Active learning involves student participation in learning activities such as discussions, problem solving, experiments, and collaboration, which allows them to construct their own understanding in a deeper and more relevant way. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role and strategies of teachers in improving active learning in grade IV students of Al-Huda Elementary School, Sidoarjo. The research method used was qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The informants in this study were homeroom teachers of grade IV at Al-Huda Elementary School. The results showed that the role of teachers in improving active learning in the classroom had gone well even though there were some obstacles in its implementation. Through the role and strategies of teachers, it aims to encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and student independence in their learning

Abstract

Education This research aims to examine the problems of islamic educationin the millenial era through ontoligical observations. Ontology is the study of the nature of reality and existence. In the context of islamic education, ontological reflection is used to understand the nature and existence of the problems faced. The problems of islamic education in the millenial era are an important concern considering the continuing development of social, technological and cultural changes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, and uses primary data and secondary data. The technique used is using library research by reading related literature. The existing problems make it important to integrate islamic values into the curriculum as a response to changes in islamic values in the current context. This research has an important role for educational has a important role for educational practitioners, policy makers and the general public. By understanding the problems of islamic education in the millenial era, relevant and sustainable improvement efforts can be made to improve the quality of islamic education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar yang dialami oleh siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa, guru, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua kategori utama faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar, yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi kemampuan kognitif yang rendah, motivasi belajar yang kurang, serta permasalahan kesehatan pada siswa. Sementara faktor eksternal mencakup kondisi lingkungan keluarga yang kurang mendukung, strategi pembelajaran di sekolah yang kurang efektif, serta pengaruh lingkungan masyarakat. Implementasi program untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar dilakukan melalui beberapa langkah strategis, seperti sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada siswa dan orang tua, penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, pengawasan dan pendampingan oleh guru, serta program harian yang terintegrasi dengan jadwal sekolah. Selain itu, sistem penilaian dan penghargaan terhadap siswa yang menunjukkan kemajuan juga berperan penting dalam membentuk sikap disiplin belajar. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan berharga bagi pihak sekolah, orang tua, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan membantu siswa mencapai keberhasilan belajar secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of learning styles and literacy culture on student learning outcomes at the elementary school level. The method used is a library search, by collecting and reviewing various secondary data sources, such as scientific literature, research journals, and academic articles relevant to the topic. The data analysis technique used is content analysis, namely by reviewing the content of various sources to understand the relationship between learning style approaches, the implementation of literacy culture, and student learning outcomes. Educational success in elementary schools is influenced by various factors, including learning styles and literacy culture. Learning styles include visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches that help students absorb information, while literacy culture involves reading habits and critical thinking skills that contribute to learning outcomes. However, low interest in reading and a lack of attention to individual learning styles are major obstacles to improving the quality of education. The results of the analysis show that students whose learning styles are accommodated in the learning process have better learning outcomes. In addition, the implementation of literacy culture through the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program has been proven effective in improving students' reading skills, learning interest, and understanding of the material. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of teachers in understanding students' learning styles and integrating literacy activities to support educational success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pendidikan ulang sholat dhuha dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa SD Al-Huda Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa, guru, dan orang tua sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan sholat dhuha dapat berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan sikap disiplin siswa. Implementasi program sholat dhuha di SD Al-Huda dilakukan melalui beberapa langkah strategis, yaitu sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada siswa dan orang tua, penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, pengawasan dan pendampingan oleh guru, serta program harian yang terintegrasi dengan jadwal sekolah. Selain itu, sistem penilaian dan penghargaan terhadap siswa yang konsisten melaksanakan sholat dhuha juga berperan penting dalam membentuk sikap disiplin. Evaluasi program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa tidak hanya dalam melaksanakan sholat dhuha, tetapi juga dalam aspek-aspek lain seperti kehadiran, ketepatan waktu, dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan sekolah. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode pembiasaan sholat dhuha terbukti efektif sebagai salah satu strategi dalam penanaman sikap disiplin pada siswa sekolah dasar.
