Abstract

Large domesticated types of ruminants such as goats, buffalo and cows are animals that are commonly kept and used as food sources and as assistants to human work in rural areas. Knowledge about pets, especially animal health, is something owners really need to keep their pets healthy. The owner's lack of knowledge about diseases and early handling of diseases in pets and the difficulty of seeing a veterinarian in urgent situations prevent pets from getting proper first aid. This study aims to identify the types of diseases suffered by pets based on the symptoms experienced by pets precisely. The method used is themethod Certainty Factor to accommodate the uncertainty of an expert's thinking on 12 diseases and 47 disease symptoms in pets. The results of this study can identify diseases in pets and produce certainty values ​​for the types of diseases in the form of diseases suffered by pets. So that this research can be a reference in identifying diseases in pets and providing knowledge to owners about first aid and disease management in pets.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems that occur in UD. Kopi Ayam Ras Jambi which is related to accounting records through the calculation of the income statement still uses the manual method that has not used a computerized system that is in accordance with accounting standards. From this, this situation makes it difficult for management to calculate the income statement every month. The purpose of this study is to create an Income Statement System using the single-step method, which is expected to assist management in calculating the company's profit and loss for each period. The profit and loss statement using this single step can make it easier for management to calculate the income, costs, and profit and loss generated each period. So that the management of UD. Kopi Ayam Ras Jambi can find out in real terms the company's profit and loss for each accounting period. The results of this system are expected to have an impact on efficiency and effectiveness in UD operations. Kopi Ayam Ras Jambi gets an accurate profit and loss report through maximum results. Abstract

Documents at a tertiary institution are one of the important factors in the internal quality assurance system to measure the level of achievement of organized activities within the tertiary institution. ‘Documents ‘can ‘be ‘used‘ as‘ a ‘reference‘ in ‘making decisions, formulating policies, ‘planning, ‘regulation, ‘monitoring ‘or ‘monitoring ‘the ‘achievements ‘of ‘activities ‘and ‘evaluating these activities. Document management at the Jambi Polytechnic is carried out using a file sharing system. The use of file sharing in document management results in limitations on document storage and access by stakeholders, where stakeholders can only store and access documents using the local network at the Jambi Polytechnic. This has hampered the process of decision making, policy formulation, planning, regulation, monitoring by stakeholders when they are not connected to the Jambi Polytechnic local network. Existing problems can be solved by having an information system that is devoted to managing documents in the form of storing and accessing documents at the Jambi Polytechnic. Modeling an online document management information system can be used as a reference before developing an information system. Modeling of this document information system will be carried out by means of visual modeling which will give an overview of how the components are connected and interact so that detailed information from an information system can be seen clearly.

Abstract

The existence of MSMEs, especially in the City of Jambi, has not been free from obstacles, one of which is related to bookkeeping or preparing financial reports. The SME Accounting Application is present as one of the technologies that is expected to be able to overcome the problems faced by MSMEs. With this application, recording of financial data can also be done online via the web or even via a smartphone, because many Android mobile-based financial recording applications have been launched to make it easier for users, especially MSMEs. This study aims to determine whether digital literacy, social influence, perceived ease of use, and technology anxiety have a partial influence on the interest of MSMEs to use the SME Accounting application. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results of the study show that digital literacy, social influence, and perceived ease of use are determinant factors that influence interest in using SME accounting applications. Meanwhile, technology anxiety has no effect on interest in using SME accounting applications

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian, pelestarian budaya, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, terutama di Indonesia yang kaya akan destinasi wisata. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti kesenjangan literasi digital dan kurangnya koordinasi antar pihak terkait sering menghambat pengembangan sektor ini. Oleh karena itu, sosialisasi dan pengembangan potensi pariwisata melalui edukasi dan promosi berbasis teknologi digital menjadi solusi penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang nilai pariwisata lokal dan memperkuat daya tarik destinasi wisata melalui pelatihan yang melibatkan teknologi digital. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Pantai Gaseng Dompak, Tanjungpinang, Kepulauan Riau, menyasar warga sekitar dengan menyelenggarakan sosialisasi mengenai penggunaan media sosial untuk promosi pariwisata dan pembuatan konten yang menarik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki minat tinggi dan aktif berpartisipasi dalam diskusi serta pembuatan konten digital. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang potensi pariwisata dan teknologi digital, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi inklusif yang berkelanjutan. Namun, untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal, diperlukan sinergi antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha, dan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara maksimal.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a strategic effort to improve the quality of public services in the era of information technology, including in the employment sector. The Tanjungpinang City Manpower Office (Disnaker) faces various challenges in managing job seeker and job vacancy data due to the use of manual systems that are still inefficient. To answer these problems, a web-based Disnaker Admin System was developed using the Laravel framework which aims to facilitate the management of AK1 (yellow card) administration, job seeker data, companies, and job vacancy information. The testing process was carried out using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method and involved periodic reviews by the Tanjungpinang City Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) to ensure the suitability of the system with the needs and standards of digital public services. Diskominfo plays an active role as a development partner and supervisor in ensuring that this digital transformation runs according to the direction of local government policy. The implementation results show that this system is able to improve admin work efficiency, accelerate the service process, improve data accuracy, and support more modern and integrated employment data management. Thus, this system provides a real contribution in supporting digital transformation and improving the quality of public services in the employment sector, while strengthening cross-agency collaboration in developing regional information technology solutions.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is rapidly advancing and has been applied across various fields, including education. However, high school students' understanding of AI remains limited. To address this, a community service activity in the form of an Inspiration Class was held at SMA Islam De Green Camp Tanjungpinang on June 4, 2025. This activity aimed to introduce the basic concepts of AI and its application in solving everyday problems. The activity employed an educational and participatory method, including interactive presentations, discussions, Q&A sessions, and simple simulations. The session was delivered by lecturers from Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH) and attended by 51 students. The material covered the definition of AI, examples of its implementation, and its role in modern life particularly in education, healthcare, and the environment. The results showed that students were enthusiastic and actively engaged in discussions. They began to understand the basic concepts of AI and how the technology can be used as a tool for problem-solving. This activity successfully sparked interest, curiosity, and critical thinking among students regarding technological developments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create a web-based motorcycle workshop management application that can improve operational efficiency and quality of service provided by workshops. Many motorcycle workshops still use manual systems. This causes many problems, such as errors in recording service history, inaccuracy in managing spare part stock, and difficulty in setting customer service schedules. To solve these problems, this application is designed using the rapid application development (RAD) method, this method allows application development to be carried out quickly and involves users in every stage. The Black Box Testing method is used to test the functionality of the application without examining the internal structure of the code. The test results show that all the main features of the application login, spare part management, service transaction recording, product search, out of stock notification, receipt printing, and logout run well. In addition, performance testing shows that the application can handle a large user load without crashing and has a response time of less than 3 seconds. It is expected that this application will help workshops record motorcycle maintenance history, monitor stock in real-time, and increase customer satisfaction by providing faster, more precise, and more organized services.Keywords: Web Application, Black Box Testing, Operational Efficiency, Motorcycle Workshop Management, Rapid Application Development
