Abstract

The research objectives are (1) To determine the stage of the crisis that occurred at PT. OSJAS, (2) To describe the leadership strategy in dealing with the crisis after the abuse of power of employees at PT. OSJAS. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study basis. This research was conducted at PT. OSJAS which is located in Tawaili District, North Palu. The research concept is about the crisis and the leadership strategy in dealing with the crisis at PT. OSJAS, subjects or informants in this study amounted to seven people. The type of data used in this study is the type of primary and secondary data. As a tool in data collection using observation and in-depth interviews (depth interviews). The results showed that the crisis faced by PT. OSJAS is a stage of Crisis Resolution. This stage of crisis resolution was obtained in accordance with the results of the study by identifying the crisis that the problems that arise are caused by the abuse of power of employees who are given special authority as managers of PT. OSJAS. PT. OSJAS is in the resolution stage because it has gone through the repair process. Furthermore, in the incident the leadership of PT. OSJAS handled the crisis with an adaptive strategy with quite extensive handling steps. The first was to change the policy by dismissing SA as a manager at PT. OSJAS to avoid even greater losses, the second to straighten the company's image, this strategy is to restore public trust in the company from negative perceptions by delivering information related to the case that occurred at PT. OSJAS.

Abstract

Maraknya pemberitaan negatif oknum anggota Polda Sulawesi Tengah (Sulteng) membutuhkan penanganan serius guna menjaga citra lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen krisis yang dilakukan oleh Humas Polda Sulteng dalam menangani pemberitaan negatif oknum anggota. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian studi kasus dengan empat (4) informan menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan serta pengujian kesimpulan setelah melewati proses pengambilan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Humas Polda Sulteng menggunakan 6 (enam) langkah yaitu: 1. Identifikasi krisis dengan menurunkan Propam untuk melakukan investigasi dan mengklarifikasikan kepada satuan-satuan kerja Humas Polda Sulteng, 2. Pembentukan Tim Kehumasan Krisis (TKK) yang terdiri dari gabungan profesi dan pengamanan (Propam), Humas, Satuan Reserse Narkoba, dan Satuan Pembinaan Masyarakat (Binmas), 3. Analisa Krisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi masalah, mencari solusi langkah pemecahan masalah, dan terbuka dalam pemberitaan, 4. Penyusunan Alternatif Tindakan dilakukan Humas melalui klarifikasi, memberikan hak jawab, dan menyampaikan langkah yang telah diambil, kemudian melakukan pemberitaan kontra dengan menonjolkan prestasi dan tugas Polda Sulteng kepada media, 5. Implementasi kegiatan-kegiatan Polda Sulteng dengan melakukan konferensi pers, jumpa pers, news release dan kliping. Untuk publikasikan setiap kegiatan di kepolisian dengan mengunakan media sosial (Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook) dan publikasi internal Polda Sulteng yaitu Majalah Tribata News dan Majalah Simpotove, 6. Evaluasi yang dilakukan terkait kegiatan Kehumasan yang lebih terbuka dan manajemen media membuahkan hasil yaitu pemberitaan yang lebih seimbang utamanya dalam pemberitaan soal keputusan atau tindakan yang mereka ambil terhadap anggotanya. The rise of negative reports from members of the Central Sulawesi Police (Central Sulawesi) requires serious handling in order to maintain the image of the institution. This study aims to determine the crisis management carried out by the Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police in dealing with negative news by individual members. This type of research is qualitative with the type of case study research with four (4) informants using purposive sampling. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing and testing conclusions after going through the data collection process in the form of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police used 6 (six) steps, namely: 1. Identification of the crisis by lowering Propam to carry out investigations and clarify to Central Sulawesi Police Public Relations work units, 2. Formation of a Crisis Public Relations Team (TKK) consisting of a combination of professions. and security (Propam), Public Relations, Drug Research Unit, and Community Development Unit (Binmas), 3. Crisis analysis is carried out by identifying problems, looking for solutions to problem solving steps, and being open in reporting, 4. Preparation of alternative actions carried out by Public Relations through clarification, give the right of reply, and convey the steps that have been taken, then carry out counter reporting by highlighting the achievements and duties of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police to the media, 5. Implementing Central Sulawesi Regional Police activities by holding press conferences, press conferences, news releases and clippings. To publish every activity in the police by using social media (Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook) and internal publications of the Central Sulawesi Police, namely Tribata News Magazine and Simpotove Magazine, 6. Evaluations carried out related to more open public relations activities and media management yielded results, namely reporting which is more balanced, especially in reporting about the decisions or actions they take against their members.
