Abstract

Stories or tales should be in the first position in educating ethics to children. They tend to like and enjoy it, in terms of the ideas, imaginations, as well as events. If this can be done well, story will be a part of the art that the children, and even the adults, love. In child education, especially in storytelling, it is important for parents and teachers to choose stories and ways of delivering them to the children properly. The development of today’s technology can certainly support the ways of storytelling to be more interesting to children. The objective of this research is to get understanding on how to choose stories and on how to deliver them to the children by using Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This research applies qualitative paradigm approach with the method of literature study. Based on this study, the use of ICT in storytelling has at least two aspects, namely visual and audio effects. Therefore, the storytellers should be able to learn how to design and use ICT to deliver stories optimally.
