Abstract

Receiving subsidized rice assistance (RASKIN) is a government program to distribute basic food assistance to underprivileged families. The distribution is carried out once every three months in accordance with the predetermined allocation. However, in practice, there are still often inaccurate targets in determining beneficiaries. This research aims to assist the village government in determining the eligibility of prospective RASKIN beneficiaries objectively and on target. The classification model used is Support Vector Machine (SVM) with the Library for Support Vector Machine (LibSVM) approach, combined with the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) method. To improve classification performance, model parameter optimization is performed using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel is used in this process. The evaluation results show that the LibSVM model optimized with PSO is able to achieve an accuracy rate of 92.21%. The proposed model is expected to be an effective decision support system in selecting recipients of government social assistance more fairly and efficiently.

Abstract

Special School (SLB) is a means of gaining knowledge for children with special needs. The quality of the school is inseparable from the quality of the teachers who provide teaching and education. Selecting prospective teachers who will teach and educate in schools is one way to improve school quality. Teacher recruitment is carried out to find teaching staff that suits the needs of the school based on the criteria determined by the school. Acceptance of teaching staff at this school is only by interview tests without going through the selection stage to see the talents and abilities of prospective teaching staff, after which the school negotiates by asking the teacher's approval for the acceptance of prospective teachers, so that the quality of prospective teachers to teach students with special needs is not so prominent, which results in ineffective criteria for the desired teacher to care for or guide students. A system that can help produce accurate assessment results by implementing a Decision Support System (SPK) is needed. One of the decision support system methods is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is a method that uses several assessment criteria that are important factors in the selection of teacher acceptance. The assessment criteria include education, experience, age, and the results of oral tests and interviews. From the results of these criteria will produce the assessment weight of each prospective teaching staff, then calculations will be carried out to find the ranking results based on the highest to lowest priorities. This research produces an information system to assist leaders in making the right decisions in the process of recruiting teaching staff at SLB Pondok Anugerah by applying the SAW method.

Abstract

When in the business world an entrepreneur must have a goal to do business, namely how his business gets good profits by providing the goods and services needed to run his business process. Internet technology is currently developing very rapidly. The existence of the internet can support the expected goals to the maximum. Therefore Printing Adil Grafika is an entrepreneurial business engaged in printing. Printing Adil Grafika often experiences many obstacles in its business processes, namely frequent mistakes in making plaques in the form of price orders that do not match the capital costs in making plaques so that the company loses in buying the material, then the absence of price provisions that make only provide prices according to calculations, many complaints from customers about delays from the hour that should have been completed in making plaques, as well as many customer complaints about other errors. With these various problems, an application is needed to determine the price of the plaque processing time fund so that it matches the standard price and processing time in the printing company adil grafika. The research method used is a data collection method consisting of field research and library research while the system development method used is the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. The results of system testing using black box testing show that the system runs according to the expected results. The result is a Decision Support System to Determine the Accuracy of Estimated Price and Working Time in Plaque Making Using the Saw Method which can reduce complaints from customers and can make it easier for companies to determine the price of plaques, on time workmanship, and also follow standards in making plaques.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement a Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the success rate of teachers in teaching at SD Nur Fadhillah Medan using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method was chosen because of its ability to provide an objective assessment through a weighted summation process of each evaluated criterion. This research involves several assessment criteria such as pedagogical competence, communication skills, attendance, and feedback from students. The data obtained is processed using the SAW method to produce a final score that describes the success rate of each teacher. The results of this research are expected to help the school in making more effective and objective decisions related to teacher performance evaluation, so as to improve the quality of education in the school. Thus, the implementation of this DSS is expected to be a useful tool for school managers in identifying areas of improvement and giving proper appreciation to teachers.
