Abstract

Game 2D "COINQUEST" menggunakan Unity, dengan fokus pada desain karakter, antarmuka pengguna, dan mekanisme permainan. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga peneliti dari Program Studi Sistem Komputer Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi, Medan. Penggunaan Unity sebagai game engine memberikan fleksibilitas dalam pengembangan game multi-platform. Game ini dirancang untuk platform Android, mengikuti teknologi berbasis perangkat bergerak. Metode penelitian eksperimental digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil pengembangan mencakup desain karakter utama, monster, dan jebakan. Menu utama, level, shop, setting, in-game, pause, dan kondisi kematian telah diimplementasikan sesuai desain. Pengujian sistem menunjukkan mekanisme game berfungsi dengan baik.Kesimpulannya, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan, pengembangan game "COINQUEST" memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan industri game dan teknologi berbasis perangkat bergerak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of utilizing GeoGebra technology as a mathematics learning medium integrated with ethnomathematics concepts in enhancing students' understanding of geometry material. The background of this research is based on low student interest and learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, particularly geometry, as well as the need to integrate local culture in learning to create more meaningful contexts. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to review existing literature on the use of technology in ethnomathematics-based learning. A total of 15 relevant articles from the last 5 years were selected and analyzed using SLR to determine technology opportunities in creating culturally-based learning media. The article selection process used strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, with searches through academic databases such as Google Scholar using keywords "ethnomathematics", "GeoGebra", "technology", and "mathematics education". The findings from the literature review indicate that digital technology, particularly GeoGebra, has great potential in developing mathematics learning media. The articles analyzed consistently report improvements in learning interest, conceptual understanding, and appreciation of local culture when technology is used as a bridge between formal mathematics and ethnomathematics.

Abstract

Abstract: Efficient and accurate payroll management is a crucial aspect in supporting the operations of a company, including in the health and beauty service sector such as JA Medical Skincare. The payroll system, which is still carried out manually, often leads to various problems such as delayed payments, salary calculation errors, and difficulties in recording attendance and overtime data. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based payroll system using the Web Engineering method to optimize the payroll process in a systematic and structured manner. The Web Engineering method was chosen because it accommodates the needs of web-based system development in an organized manner through stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The requirements analysis was conducted through observation and interviews with relevant personnel at JA Medical Skincare. The results of this analysis were used to design a payroll system that includes features such as employee data management, salary calculation based on attendance and overtime, payslip printing, and payroll reporting. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as the database. System testing was conducted using the black box method to ensure that all functions operate according to user requirements. The test results indicate that the system improves efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the employee payroll process. With this system, JA Medical Skincare management can manage the payroll process more quickly, systematically, and with minimal errors, as well as facilitate reporting and documentation processes. Keywords: Payroll System, Web Engineering, JA Medical Skincare, CodeIgniter, Web-Based Information System Abstrak: Pengelolaan penggajian karyawan yang efisien dan akurat merupakan aspek krusial dalam menunjang operasional suatu perusahaan, termasuk di sektor pelayanan kesehatan dan kecantikan seperti JA Medical Skincare. Sistem penggajian yang masih bersifat manual seringkali menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti keterlambatan pembayaran, kesalahan perhitungan gaji, serta kesulitan dalam melakukan rekapitulasi data kehadiran dan lembur. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem penggajian karyawan berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Web Engineering guna mengoptimalkan proses penggajian secara sistematis dan terstruktur. Metode Web Engineering dipilih karena mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan pengembangan sistem berbasis web secara terorganisir melalui tahapan analisis, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Dalam proses ini, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait di JA Medical Skincare. Hasil dari analisis tersebut digunakan untuk merancang sistem penggajian yang mencakup fitur pengelolaan data karyawan, perhitungan gaji berdasarkan kehadiran dan lembur, cetak slip gaji, serta laporan penggajian. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework CodeIgniter dan basis data MySQL. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode black box untuk memastikan seluruh fungsi berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi dalam proses penggajian karyawan. Dengan adanya sistem ini, pihak manajemen JA Medical Skincare dapat mengelola proses penggajian secara lebih cepat, terstruktur, dan minim kesalahan, serta memudahkan proses pelaporan dan dokumentasi. Kata kunci: Sistem Penggajian, Web Engineering, JA Medical Skincare, CodeIgniter, Sistem Informasi Berbasis Web

Abstract

Receiving subsidized rice assistance (RASKIN) is a government program to distribute basic food assistance to underprivileged families. The distribution is carried out once every three months in accordance with the predetermined allocation. However, in practice, there are still often inaccurate targets in determining beneficiaries. This research aims to assist the village government in determining the eligibility of prospective RASKIN beneficiaries objectively and on target. The classification model used is Support Vector Machine (SVM) with the Library for Support Vector Machine (LibSVM) approach, combined with the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) method. To improve classification performance, model parameter optimization is performed using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel is used in this process. The evaluation results show that the LibSVM model optimized with PSO is able to achieve an accuracy rate of 92.21%. The proposed model is expected to be an effective decision support system in selecting recipients of government social assistance more fairly and efficiently.

Abstract

Sebuah sistem informasi inventory yang terintegrasi dengan pemindai barcode dirancang dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi inventory di PT. Matosa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi barcode scanner berbasis web menggunakan metode Waterfall. Sistem ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk mengurangi kesalahan manusia dalam penginputan data, tetapi juga untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dalam proses pencatatan dan pemantauan barang. Dengan menggunakan teknologi barcode, pengguna dapat menginput data dengan cepat, yang menghasilkan alur kerja yang lebih efisien dan staf yang lebih produktif. Aksesibilitas data yang lebih baik adalah keuntungan tambahan dari sistem ini. Sistem berbasis web ini memungkinkan kolaborasi yang lebih baik antar tim manajemen dan tim lapangan dengan memberikan akses instan ke informasi inventory dari berbagai perangkat dan lokasi. Selain itu, sistem ini memiliki fitur pelaporan yang memungkinkan manajer membuat laporan otomatis dan melacak tren penggunaan barang, yang membantu mereka membuat keputusan yang lebih baik dan merencanakan kebutuhan inventory di masa depan. Selain itu, fitur keamanan seperti enkripsi data dan kontrol akses yang ketat mencegah orang yang tidak berhak mengakses data pribadi. Secara keseluruhan, diharapkan bahwa sistem informasi inventory yang menggunakan scanner barcode berbasis web dapat membantu bisnis meningkatkan manajemen inventaris mereka.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has enhanced educational quality and teacher professionalism via teacher certification. This research investigates the professional identity of Indonesian EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers, who have not been certified, and how they perceive their teaching career and professionalism. This research employs a qualitative case study design to explore the reflective practices of ten teachers who do not possess certification (or have not undergone a certification program). The data collection involved two primary methods: a modified questionnaire comprising six aspects of teacher professional identity and semi-structured interviews. The research findings suggest a tough professional identity beyond formal credentials, particularly the satisfaction and fulfilment of teachers without certification. Collaborative initiatives between the government, educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders are suggested to create a more conducive and rewarding teacher environment.
