Abstract

The learning process will run smoothly and effectively if it is supported by infrastructure. One of the infrastructure that can support the learning process is the availability of teaching materials. One of the teaching materials that can be applied is electronic teaching materials (e-books). The purpose of this study was to determine the development of e-book teaching materials based on local potential in Asahan Regency on ecosystem material for class X students at the senior high school level which is valid, practical, and effective. This research is a research and development model of ADDIE. The research trials were carried out on a large scale. The validity of the E-Book is measured using a validation sheet. The validity of the E-Book material that has been developed is 74% categorized as valid, the validity of the media is 88% categorized as very valid, and language validity of 84% which is categorized as very valid. The practicality of the E-Book was measured using field practitioner validation sheets and student response questionnaires. Based on the validation of field practitioners, the practicality percentage of the E-Book is 96%, which is categorized as very practical, and the student response questionnaire is 94%, which is categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of the E-Book is measured by the normalized gain test. The N-Gain score is 0.7 which is categorized as effective because The effectiveness of the E-Book is measured by the normalized gain test. Abstract

This research was motivated by the limited learning resources used by students and the lack of teacher ability in developing teaching materials in the form of LKPD. Apart from that, the teaching materials used in learning have not been integrated with Islamic values, causing a lack of student activity and interest in learning. The aim of this research is to produce teaching materials in the form of LKPD on Integrated Digestive System Material with Islamic Values ​​to Improve Critical Thinking in Class XI Students that are valid, effective and practical. This research is development research (R&D) using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The validity of the LKPD is obtained from the validation sheet. The validity of the LKPD in the media aspect got a percentage of 91.34%, in the material aspect it got a percentage of 85% and in the Islamic integration aspect it got a percentage of 83.33%. The practicality of LKPD is obtained from teacher response questionnaires and student responses. The practicality of the teacher response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 73.3% and the practicality of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 98.7%. Abstract

Hand sanitizer berperan penting dalam menjaga kebersihan tangan dan mencegah penularan penyakit, namun penggunaan berbahan alkohol secara berlebihan dapat menimbulkan iritasi kulit. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan hand sanitizer berbahan alami kepada masyarakat Desa Merek, Kecamatan Merek, Kabupaten Karo, dengan memanfaatkan lidah buaya, daun sirih, dan jeruk nipis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei awal, persiapan alat dan bahan, serta pelatihan melalui sosialisasi dan praktik langsung yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20-27 Juli 2024. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mampu memahami manfaat bahan alami dan mempraktikkan pembuatan hand sanitizer secara mandiri. Pemanfaatan bahan tradisional ini menjadi alternatif antiseptik yang aman, mudah dibuat, dan sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan masyarakat. Keberhasilan program ini diukur melalui tingkat pemahaman peserta yang tinggi dan kemampuan praktik mandiri seluruh peserta pelatihan sebanyak 10 orang ibu-ibu di Desa Merek.
