Abstract

Work commitment is an employee's willingness to continue to be part of the organization, as well as contribute to implementing the organization's vision and mission voluntarily and responsibly in completing the work that is the organization's goals. The aim of this research is to: determine the magnitude of the influence of job satisfaction and organizational culture together on work commitment. The research approach used is quantitative. This type of research uses associative research. The population of this study was 138 teachers and the research sample was 103 teachers. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The research results show that: 1) The influence of job satisfaction on work commitment is 68.9%, 2) The influence of organizational culture on work commitment is 71.5%, 3) The influence of job satisfaction and organizational culture on work commitment is 75.9%. The conclusion of this research is that job satisfaction and organizational culture on work commitment are 0.759 or 75.9%. The author suggests that teachers carry out evaluations and develop learning, then teachers can also take part in training and seminars in order to increase competence which will lead to work commitment.

Abstract

Nowadays, social media is one of the common things to use, both at the age of children, adults, and the elderly. The world of education has also given freedom to students to utilize gadgets / smartphones for learning. Not a few social media are also used to find interesting references related to a learning material. However, there are also negative impacts related to this, a lot of students who cannot manage their time properly due to excessive playing social media. The same thing happens to students at SMK N 4 Semarang, especially class XI, they are often seen playing social media during class hours and outside of class hours. This study aims to determine the picture of addiction to playing social media by students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This research was conducted at SMK N 4 Semarang with a total population of class XI of 612 students. The samples in this study were class XI Automotive 1, and class XI Mechanical Engineering 1, and XI Automotive 3 with a total of 108 students. Collecting research data using a social media addiction scale. The results obtained from this study are the level of addiction to playing social media in class XI SMK N 4 Semarang mostly in the low category with a percentage of 38%, followed by the medium category with a percentage of 35%, and high with a percentage of 27%.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter di sekolah mengacu pada delapan belas nilai-nilai karakter yang dianggap penting untuk dipahami dan dihayati oleh siswa. Pendidikan karakter tidak dimulai di sekolah tetapi harus ditanamkan  dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak sejak dini salah satunya karakter kemandiriaan. Fokus dari penelitian yaitu 1) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penggerakan implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. 2) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengawasan implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di SD Negeri Plosogaden Kabupaten Temanggung. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus. Desain penelitian kualitatif melalui 1) tahap pra lapangan atau orientasi, 2) tahap pekerjaan lapangan atau eksplorasi fokus, 3) analisis data.  Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data dengan tiga langkah: reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) penggerakkan implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah meliputi pelaksanaan program P5, sarana prasarana sekolah, pengarahan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kepala sekolah. 2) pengawasan implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah meliputi membuat instrumen penilaian, evaluasi kegiatan pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut.Kata Kunci:  Implementasi Profile Pelajar Pancasila, Karakter Mandiri, Karakter Gotong Royong.

Abstract

This study is based on the background that the results of the questionnaire of students' needs that I gave to class XI, especially in class XI, there were 3.16% of students who were still uncertain about their choice of goals, 3.31% of students who still did not understand the study program in college, and there were 2.86% of students who did not understand the relationship between talent, interest, education, and work. The research method used is a survey research method with a quantitative approach that aims to reveal what it is. The population in this study were all students of class XI of SMK Negeri 4 Semarang. The results showed that career planning ability can be known that the lowest score was 15 respondents in the very high category with a percentage of 19%, 22 respondents in the high category with a percentage of 28%, 43 respondents in the medium category with a percentage of 54%, 0 respondents in the low category with a percentage of 0%, and 0 respondents in the very low category with a percentage of 0%. Suggestions that researchers can convey should guidance and counseling teachers have played an active role but guidance and counseling teachers must develop or improve career guidance services at school.

Abstract

Quality education is one of the main challenges faced by the education system in Indonesia, especially at the primary and secondary education levels. This research aims to examine the influence of the principal's managerial competence, teacher commitment, and the role of the school committee on the quality of education in public elementary schools in Randublatung District, Blora Regency. A quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research design was used to evaluate the relationship between these variables. The population of this study consisted of 477 teachers from 52 state elementary schools. The research sample was taken as many as 218 teachers using the Slovin sampling technique with an error rate of 5%. The research instrument is a questionnaire that has been validated and its reliability tested, covering the variables of educational quality, managerial competence of the school principal, teacher commitment, and the role of the school committee. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant influence of the principal's managerial competence, teacher commitment, and the role of the school committee on the quality of education. These findings indicate that improving the quality of school management, teacher loyalty and professionalism, as well as the active involvement of school committees in the education process can improve the quality of education in elementary schools. This research contributes to the development of strategies for improving the quality of education in elementary schools, as well as providing a basis for education policies to strengthen the role of school principals, teachers and school committees in efforts to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

In an effort to improve teacher pedagogical competence, there are several factors that need to be studied, including the principal's leadership, school culture and teacher work motivation. Increasing teachers' pedagogical competence really requires the role of the principal as the holder of the highest level of leadership in the school. Leadership is the ability to influence, move and direct the actions of a person or group of people to achieve certain goals in certain situations. The research approach used is a quantitative approach because research data is in the form of numbers obtained from data conversion in the field in the form of questionnaires and then analyzed using statistics. The type of research used is ex post facto (non-experimental) research. The research results show that the pedagogical competence of State High School teachers in Rembang Regency is very high, as evidenced by the average score percentage reaching 86.75%. The principal's leadership is classified as very high (85.15%), school culture is classified as very high (86.61%) and teacher work motivation reaches 86.57% in the very high category.  There is a positive influence of the principal's leadership on the pedagogical competence of State High School teachers in Rembang Regency. 2. There is a positive influence of school culture on the pedagogical competence of State High School teachers in Rembang Regency. 3. There is a positive influence of work motivation on the pedagogical competence of State High School teachers in Rembang Regency. 4. There is a positive influence of the principal's leadership, school culture and teacher work motivation on the pedagogical competence of State High School teachers in Rembang Regency. Based on the conclusions above, it is known that the independent variables studied both separately and together have a significant influence on the dependent variable. This suggests that improving teacher competency can be done by improving the principal's leadership, school culture and teacher work motivation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by teachers who are required to have performance that is able to provide and realize the hopes and desires of all parties, especially the general public who trust schools and teachers in developing students. The formulation of the problem in this research is 1. Is there an influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in Rembang Regency State High School. 2. Is there an influence of school culture on teacher performance in Rembang Regency State High School 3. Is there an influence of teacher professionalism on teacher performance in Rembang Regency State High School 4. Is there an influence of principal leadership, school culture and teacher professionalism together on teacher performance at Rembang Regency State High School. The aim of this research is to analyze and explain: 1. The influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of Rembang Regency State High School teachers. 2. The influence of school culture on the performance of Rembang Regency State High School teachers. 3. The influence of teacher professionalism on the performance of Rembang Regency State High School teachers. 4 .The influence of principal leadership, school culture and teacher professionalism on the performance of Rembang Regency State High School teachers. The sampling technique was based on proportional random sampling with a total of 56 teachers. The approach used in this research is quantitative. with survey methods. This research is associative research with three independent variables, namely school principal leadership (X1), school culture (X2), teacher professionalism (X3) and one dependent variable, namely teacher performance (Y). The population in this study was all 566 State High School teachers in Rembang Regency. The sampling technique was based on proportional random sampling, totaling 85. The results of the research show that the principal's leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance with a score percentage of 88.37. School culture has a significant effect on teacher performance of 89.92. Teacher professionalism obtained a percentage score of 89.36 in the very high category. With this, the principal's leadership, school culture and teacher professionalism have a positive influence and have an important role in improving teacher performance at SMAN Rembang Regency

Abstract

Abstract Quality is something that is considered an important part, because quality basically shows the superiority of a product when compared to other products. Likewise, school quality is a very important thing to be paid attention to by the relevant parties for the success of education in Indonesia. It is hoped that good school quality will produce the next generation who are intelligent and have character. The aims of this research are (1) to measure the magnitude of the influence of school organizational climate on school quality (2) to measure the magnitude of the influence of teacher competence on school quality (3) to measure the magnitude of the influence of work motivation on school quality (4) to measure the magnitude of the influence of school organizational climateand teacher competency and work motivation simultaneously on school quality. The population is 6 schools with 158 teachers and a samples size of 110 people. Which was determined by proportionate random sampling, data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, coefficient test, correlation, determinationof single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis calculated using the SPSS for Windows Release 16 program. The result of the research show that the school organizational climate is in the fairly good category, teacher competence is in the good category, work motivation is in the quite good category. From the hypothesis test, it was found that there was a positive influence of school organizational climate on school quality of 4,2%. There is a positive influence of teacher competence on school quality of 12,9%; there is a positive influence of work motivation on school qulity by 20%. There is a positive influence of school organizational climate, teacher competency and work motivation on school quality of 23,9%. Based on the research result, it is recommended that (1) the education office provide direction to school principals regarding their duties as leaders. Teachers and school principals must make effort to improve these conditions. (2) The principal provides opportunities for teachers to take part in training, seminars, workshops related to teacher competency, especially social competency. (3) Teachers must play an active role in creating discipline and pleasant working atmosphere as a positive school organizational climate. Abstract

Abstract School quality is the school's ability to provide quality education that meets needs and expectations in accordance with current developments and technology. The quality of several state junior high schools in sub-rayon 3 Jepara Regency is less than optimal, namely that students' achievements in school exams have not met expectations, they have not been ranked in the top five, and their quality report cards are still below ideal figures. Increasing the leadership role of school principals, teacher professionalism and teacher work motivation can have a positive influence on the quality of schools in SMP Negeri sub-rayon 3 Jepara Regency. The objectives of this study are to determine: (1) the influence of school principal leadership on school quality; (2) the influence of teacher professionalism on school quality; (3) the influence of teacher work motivation on school quality; (4) the combined influence of school principal leadership, teacher professionalism, and teacher work motivation on school quality in public junior high schools in Sub District 3, Jepara Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach with a non-experimental ex post facto design. The population consists of junior high school teachers in Sub District 3, Jepara Regency, with a sample of 302 teachers selected using proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection methods include questionnaires or surveys. Data analysis involves descriptive analysis, testing requirements, and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression analyses with SPSS software. Based on the research findings, it was found that: (1) school principal leadership has a significant influence on school quality by 47.2% and a strong relationship with a correlation value of 0.687; (2) teacher professionalism has a significant influence on school quality by 45.5% and a strong relationship with a correlation value of 0.674; (3) teacher motivation has a significant influence on school quality by 8.5% and a moderate relationship with a correlation value of 0.291; (4) school principal leadership and teacher motivation jointly have a strong simultaneous influence on school quality by 52.4% and a strong relationship with an average correlation value of 0.55. It is recommended that school principals enhance leadership competencies, promote teacher professionalism, and motivate teacher performance to achieve superior school quality. The implications of this research are programs to increase the competency of school principals, professional development according to teacher needs and measuring teacher work motivation with appropriate instruments. Abstract

Academic stresor merupakan stres yang berasal dari proses pembelajaran yang mendapatkan tekanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena peneliti ingin mengetahui gambaran academic stressor yang dialami siswa kelas X Kecantikan SMK N 6 Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sample random sampilng. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan olah data, Academic stressor paling berpengaruh terhadap stress akademik siswa kelas X Kecantikan SMKN 6 Semarang secara keseluruhan disebabkan oleh tiga Aspek. Aspek yang paling tinggi yakni persepsi diri akademik yang memperoleh 84.4%. Kemudian yang kedua dengan aspek situasi belajar dengan presentase sebanyak 81.3% dan yang terakhir yakni aspek espektasi akademik dengan kategori sedang, adapun perolehan presentasenya sebesar 71.9%.
