Abstract

Status gizi pada remaja dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta berlanjut hingga usia dewasa. Rendahnya kualitas konsumsi menjadi salah satu penyebab langsung masalah status gizi pada remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis status gizi dan kualitas konsumsi makan remaja melalui Diet Quality Index for Adolescents. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 orang yang merupakan siswa/siswi SMA Muhammadiyah di DKI Jakarta. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama bulan September 2021 melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 45,71% responden memiliki status gizi normal dengan skor DQI – A menunjukkan nilai buruk (rata – rata 40,33 dari 100). Indikator DQI – A dengan nilai terendah adalah kualitas konsumsi pangan dimana responden kurang mengkonsumsi buah dan sayur. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa status gizi normal belum tentu memiliki kualitas konsumsi yang baik. Uji hubungan pearson (p<0.01) menunjukkan bahwa indikator dan skor DQI – A tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan status gizi. Intervensi berupa pendidikan gizi dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam memperbaiki kualitas konsumsi pangan

Abstract

Background: In Indonesia, there is an increasing prevalence of hypertension in the 45-54 age group. This degenerative disease has a significant impact with high morbidity and mortality rates, and affects the quality of life of sufferers. Hypertension can increase the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease, stroke, kidney damage and diabetes mellitus. The "CERDIK" programme which includes regular health check-ups, smoking cessation, physical activity, a balanced diet, adequate rest, and stress management are good measures to prevent and control high blood pressure.Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and "CERDIK" behaviour with hypertension in 45-54 years old at UPTD Puskesmas Jatisampurna, Bekasi city.Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study design with purposive sampling technique. The population in this study were hypertensive patients aged 45-54 years at the UPTD Puskesmas Jatisampurna, Bekasi city. The sample in this study totalled 66 respondents. Data were analysed using the chi square test. Results: The results showed that there was no significant relationship between CERDIK knowledge (P value = 0.300 0.05) and hypertension and there was a significant relationship between CERDIK behaviour (P value = 0.007 0.05) and hypertension.Conclusion: The study shows that there is an association between CERDIK behaviour and hypertension

Abstract

Menstruation is the discharge of blood from the uterus that occurs at a certain time. The menstrual cycle is very important in the female reproductive system because it influences circuit changes, however, many women experience menstrual cycle disorders which can have an impact on health. The research aims to analyze the relationship between intake (protein, fat, iron, calcium) and stress levels with the menstrual cycle of adolescent girls at SMA PGRI 1 Bekasi City. The method used is quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. This research involved 101 respondents using Purposive Sampling technique. Protein, fat, iron and calcium intake was obtained using the 2 x 24 hour recall method. The questionnaires and interviews used were the menstrual cycle and the DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) stress level. Analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square statistical test. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the majority of respondents have normal menstrual cycles, normal macro intake (protein, fat), low micro intake (iron, calcium) and moderate stress levels. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between intake (protein, fat, iron, calcium) and stress levels with the menstrual cycle (p>0.05). Conclusion There is no relationship between intake (protein, fat, iron, calcium) and stress levels with the menstrual cycle of adolescent girls at SMA PGRI 1 Bekasi City.

Abstract

Nutritional problems in adults are affected by the use of social media which results in increased sedentary activity which can cause nutritional problems and increased stress levels. The increase in stress levels affects the increase in food intake so it can affect nutritional status. The general purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between social media usage, physical activity, stress levels and nutritional status of adults in 3rd Hamlet North Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. This type of research is quantitative study with cross-sectional design approach. Primary data collected in this study included nutritional status, social media usage, physical activity, and stress levels in age 18 – 25 years in 3rd Hamlet North Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. Secondary data was obtained from journals, articles, literature, and sites related to research. The sample for this study was 63 residents who were selected by purposive sampling according to inclusive and exclusive criteria. Chi Square was used to analyze the data. The results of this study revealed that there was no relationship between the use of social media and nutritional status (p = 0.223), there was no relationship between physical activity and nutritional status (p = 0.181), there was a relationship between stress levels and nutritional status (p = 0.005). From this study, it was concluded that there is relationship between stress levels and nutritional status in age 18 – 25 in 3rd Hamlet North Kebayoran Lama.

Abstract

The study aim was to determine the quality of food consumption using the Diet Quality Index for Infants aged 6 to 9 months from Baduy Luar Ethnic Group. The study was conducted in 16 hamlets of Kanekes Village and the sample size was 79 infants. The data were consumption data of infants for one week based on Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). Diet quality results are classified into good, fair and poor. Most of the toddlers consumed breast milk and had low intake of protein, vegetables, fruits while their carbohydrate consumption was in accordance with recommendations. This study shows that quality of food consumption is not associated with nutritional problems in infants.

Abstract

Adolescents with poor nutritional status tend to have low immune system so they are easily affected by disease, besides this, it can inhibit muscle formation during the growth period, lack of intelligence level. In overweight or obese teenagers, it can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease and stroke, and cancer.Objective: To determine the relationship between nutritional knowledge, breakfast habits and breakfast macronutrient intake with the nutritional status of school adolescents at SMAN 74 South Jakarta.Method: This research uses a cross-sectional study design with stratified random sampling technique. The population in this study were students of classes X and XI at SMAN 74 South Jakarta. The sample in this study consisted of 86 respondents from class X and XI students. Data were analyzed using the chi square test.Results: The results of the study showed that there was no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge (p = 0.688), breakfast habits (p = 0.413), and macronutrient intake, energy (p = 0.608), protein (p = 0.608), fat (p =0.593), carbohydrates (p=0.359) with nutritional status.Conclusion: Research shows that there is no relationship between breakfast and the nutritional status of female students, but the quality of nutritional intake is still less than the RDA.

Abstract

Pada masa sekarang pemberian makan balita dan anak usia 6 – 24 bulan telah dikemas dalam bentuk siap saji yang lebih praktis dan digemari oleh orang tua. Pola pemberian makan balita berhubungan erat dengan pengetahuan dan perilaku ibu. Jika pemenuhan gizi pada masa balita 6 – 24 bulan baik, maka proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan dapat optimal. Status gizi balita underweight 17,0%, Gizi kurang 25%. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan diberbagai posyandu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian makan balita dan anak, pengetahuan, perilaku asupan zat gizi makro terhadap status gizi balita. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Cross Sectional dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah balita dari usia 6 – 24 bulan di wilayah Puskesmas Kota Baru.Hasil penelitian dengan uji Chi Square fisher extract menunjukan adanya hubungan yang sigifikan antara asupan energi dengan status gizi anak (p-value 0,036). Sedangkan pengetahuan (p-value 1,000), perilaku (p-value 1,000), asupan protein (p-value 0,671), asupan lemak (p-value 1,000)  dan asupan karbohidrat  (p-value 0,163), tidak terdapat hubungan.

Abstract

Coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and reproductive issues are more common in adolescents with either an insufficient or an excessive nutritional status. The objective of this research is to find out what the relationship is between class X students' nutritional state, stress, and their consumption of macronutrients at SMAN 51 Jakarta. The participants in this cross-sectional study were 90 adolescents from SMAN 51 Jakarta. making use of the whole sampling procedure for sampling. Adolescents' nutritional status was evaluated using IMT/U. We measured macronutrient consumption using the 2x24-hour meal recall technique, and we measured physical activity and stress levels using a questionnaire. Protein, lipid, and carbohydrate consumption were significantly associated with nutritional status (p = 0.001), however neither physical activity nor stress levels were found to be correlated (p = 0.891 and p = 0.109, respectively). Finally, increased protein, lipid, and carbohydrate consumption is associated with an increased risk of abnormal nutritional status in adolescents.
