Abstract

Desa Pacet merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Mojokerto yang diidentifikasi rawan bencana. Bencana yang sering terjadi, yaitu longsor dan banjir bandang. Bencana ini terjadi saat musim hujan turun. Menyikapi dua bencana yang setiap tahun terjadi tersebut, para mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya berinisiatif memberikan pelatihan tanggap bencana menggunakan buku cerita bergambar kepada guru TK Rahma dan TK Darma Wanita di Desa Pacet. Pelatihan yang diberikan berupa teknik penulisan dan pengembangan buku cerita bergambar berbasis tanggap bencana. Mahasiswa memberikan pelatihan penulisan dan pengembangan buku cerita bergambar menggunakan teknik kepenulisan pola cilukba dan empat pola pikir matematika. Dua teknik tersebut dilatihkan agar para guru di TK Rahma dan TK Dharma Wanita dapat dengan mudah menulis buku cerita berbasis tanggap bencana. Tujuannya agar guru (melalui buku cerita yang ditulisnya) dapat memberikan gambaran kepada siswa-siswanya mengenai sikap serta penanggulangan bencana jika sewaktu-waktu terjadi. Lokasi pelatihan menggunakan ruang kelas TK Rahma Dusun Pacet Selatan dengan peserta para guru TK Rahma dan TK Darma Wanita, serta para siswa TK. Pelatihan penulisan dan pengembangan buku cerita ini menghasilkan produk berupa buku cerita bergambar tangguh bencana dan telah dikatakan layak digunakan untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

Language skills are a very important skill in everyday life. Language skills are easily expressed through oral and written. The lack of interest of students in terms of writing about his own experiences is happening because of difficulties to express feelings, not able to describe the idea in the form of sentences. Pattern Technique Ci-Luk-Ba! is a technique for writing a story that contains the most basic structure of the narrative. Therein, there is knowledge, tension and enjoyment, while making the story start from the starting point, middle, and end point. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Ci-Luk-Ba pattern techniques! To short story writing skills. The method used by this research is quantitative using Quasi Experimental Design. Using sampling technique is Non probability Sampling with purposive sampling form. The results of data analysis showed significant differences proved also on the hypothesis test indicating that t_hitung gained 9.85 greater than t_tabel 1.994 at a significant rate of 0.05. It can then be concluded that rejected received. So it can be stated that "pattern technique Ci-Luk-Ba! Influence of short story writing skills in grade IV students at SDN Ketabang Surabaya ".

Abstract

Literature teaching has a very important role in providing knowledge about life and fostering emotional sensitivity in students. Therefore, to create literature teaching that is in line with its objectives, Indonesian language teachers are needed who have adequate competence in appreciating literary works. This can be done through the presentation of literary learning in lecture rooms. However, in reality there are problems faced by students in appreciating poetry. For this reason, further efforts are needed to overcome this problem by applying demonstration methods. This research focuses on efforts to increase students' ability to appreciate poetry through demonstration methods. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with an experimental approach. The subjects of this research were 24 class A students of the Indonesian Language Education study program class A. The result of the research carried out is the implementation of the demonstration method as an effort to increase student competence in appreciating poetry that works well, as well as achieving learning objectives. Because there was an increase in the average score obtained by students from 2.75 to 4.26 which is included in the good category.

Abstract

The context of this research is that writing skills are very important for learning, because they can train students to think, channel their desires, emotions, and express their ideas.. The use of documentary film media tells true stories about natural events in accordance with explanatory text material that tells about natural or social phenomena that can occur, such as about water, plastic which is the source of human life. The objective of this research, the researcher wants to know is there any effect of documentary film media on the writing skill of the fifth grade students of Sedatigede II Elementary School. While the research methodology used is quantitative by using a Quasi-Experimental design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects were class V A as the experimental class and class V C as the control class at SDN Sedatigede II Sidoarjo with a total of 35 students. The data collection method used is an assessment in the form of a performance test with the task of writing an explanatory text. Using statistical analysis methods, the formulas used are normality test, homogeneity test and T-test. The test before and after using the media with the SPSS version 22 application were used. The results of this study were based on the results of the independent sample test data analysis, which showed the value of sig < 0.05, namely sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. From these results, it was concluded that there was an effect of documentary film media on students' writing skills in the explanatory text material of fifth grade students of Sedatigede II Elementary School. This is reinforced by the significant difference in skill test scores in the experimental and control groups before and after treatment.

Abstract

One form of writing, namely popular scientific works. In writing popular scientific works, writers must follow predetermined guidelines, for example templates, word choice (diction), and suitability of themes. Popular scientific works have word choices that are easy to read and easy for various groups to understand. Therefore, an editing process is needed so that popular scientific works become good. The aim of editing is to avoid too many errors and add references if necessary. Editing is the author's final step before his writing is published. Editing is not an easy job. This was experienced by the students of SMA Negeri 1 Kedamean. For this reason, lecturers in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya need to provide community service through training. Training implementation method with face-to-face presentations, modeling and simulation accompanied by assignments. The community service carried out can provide students with insight and skills in editing popular scientific papers.

Abstract

Teachers today are not only required to be competent in learning activities, but teachers are also required to be skilled at writing scientific papers. From the competence in writing scientific papers, teacher competence in learning activities will automatically increase, because writing is part of literacy. Writing scientific papers requires continuous practice and also requires good reading competence. Teachers who have reading competence will have writing competence. Ironically, many teachers do not have writing competence, because teachers' reading ability is low. That is why this Community Service activity is carried out. The target of Community Service is the teacher at SMKN 1 Sepulu Bangkalan. Community service is carried out in three stages, namely socialization, training and mentoring. From these three stages, teachers as participants can write scientific papers using good and correct Indonesian.

Abstract

Pamarsudi Sastra Jawi Bojonegoro (PSJB) is one of the most active literary communities in East Java. Until 2023, the age of the studio has reached around 40 years. This qualitative research aims to describe PSJB from an organizational perspective, the profession of the members, the works and literary genres produced, publications, studio activities, and their contribution to the profession and community literacy. Data was collected through interviews and observations, looking at organizational documents, as well as written sources related to PSJB. By using the sociology of literature approach, the data were analyzed, described, and concluded as research results. PSJB can survive because of its tenacity and the existence of central figures in the management. PSJB members are mostly teachers of Javanese language and literature. Organizational activities are more directed to the creative process to produce work. The members' works are published and managed by PSJB. Most of the published works are in the genre of poetry, short stories, and novels. PSJB contributes to the profession and career of its members, most of whom are teachers. It is from these teachers and students that PSJB has contributed to a culture of literacy towards the development of Javanese language and literature as a local culture.

Abstract

Novel tidak lepas dari karakter tokoh-tokohnya. Karakter merupakan unsur yang paling penting, yang ditampilkan secara utuh, misalnya ciri fisik, kondisi sosial, watak, tingkah laku, dan psikologi. Dengan demikian, karya sastra sangat erat kaitannya dengan psikologi, meskipun juga erat kaitannya dengan kajian ilmiah lainnya. Hal ini sejalan dengan struktur pembentukan manusia, yaitu manusia terdiri dari jiwa dan raga. Karya sastra prosa yang akan menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah roman Larasati karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Roman Larasati menceritakan bagaimana dulu Ara memperjuangkan revolusi dengan caranya sendiri. Hingga ia menyerahkan kehormatannya demi Indonesia merdeka. Untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi Ara, penulis menggunakan teori perilaku dan teori motivasi sebagai alat bantu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu suatu cara untuk memecahkan masalah aktual dengan cara mengumpulkan, menyusun, mengklasifikasikan, menganalisis, dan menginterpretasikan data. Analisis penelitian ini menggambarkan motivasi Larasati untuk berpartisipasi dalam perjuangan melawan penjajah Belanda. Profesi sebagai PSK dan bintang film tak menghalanginya untuk terus mencintai tanah air. Sedangkan dari hasil analisis perilaku, Larasati mengalami perubahan perilaku yang positif yaitu merasa memiliki kewajiban untuk mempertahankan kedaulatan negaranya, meskipun hanya seorang pelacur dan bintang film.

Abstract

Folklor merupakan sebagian kebudayaan suatu masyarakat yang tersebar dan diwariskan secara lisan dan turun temurun, oleh karena itu perlu diselamatkan dan dipelihara agar menjadi identitas budaya lokal daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi mitos Bujuk Agung di Bondowoso. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bentuk cerita dan fungsi mitos Bujuk Agung yang dikaji melalui teori Alan Dundes. Disimpulkan bahwa mitos Bujuk Agung dapat difungsikan sebagai: 1) sarana pendidikan, 2) sarana penebal perasaan solidaritas kolektifnya, 3) sarana pemberi sangsi sosial agar orang berperilaku baik atau memberi hukuman, dan 4) sarana kritik sosial terhadap ketidakadilan, hiburan, Mempertebal rasa percaya diri untuk mencari makna hidup dalam kehidupan.
