Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a period of learning that will take effect to the children’s development and their futures. One of the components that are able to influence the success of achieving goals of the PAUD is the Human Resources or teachers. These study aims to determine the teachers’ pedagogic competence in learning management of kindergarten Alam Muara Bungo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation. The technique of analysis data is using the Miles and Huberman and Creswell model, namely credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results showed that the learning management of kindergarten Alam Muara Bungo was carried out by models are (1) Planning is the structuring of management in learning implementation, (2) Learning implementation is scientific-based learning that is implemented by concept of moral pillars, leadership pillars, business pillars and logic pillars, (3) Learning assessment that have structured and scheduled. These shows that the teacher’s pedagogic competence of kindergarten Alam Muara Bungo in learning management is categorized that they have a good competence. They also have mastered and implemented the four components of pedagogic competence, namely practice teaching, observation of teaching and learning, theory or theoretical knowledge of teaching and student learning, and planning of teaching. Although the teachers have a good pedagogic competence in learning management, however the head master and human resource manager of the Bungo Master Foundation continue to improve their teachers’ competence by programs are 1) coaching, 2) education and training, and 3) recruitment of qualified teachers.

Abstract

This article discusses leadership management and educational institutions under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), and the Directorate General of Islamic Education (DIKTIS). The research aims to provide an overview of the roles and challenges faced by educational leaders, as well as strategies that can be implemented to enhance leadership effectiveness. The findings indicate that effective leadership is crucial for improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The mathematics learning process currently taking place in the field has not been able to facilitate students' creative thinking abilities. Mathematics learning emphasizes aspects of conceptual understanding rather than procedural assignments. Apart from this, in learning mathematics students are also less active and students only usually solve mathematics problems like the examples the teacher gives which are closed in nature. There are many aspects that cause students' creative mathematical thinking abilities to be less than optimal. The main factor is students who are not used to working on higher-level thinking questions, one of which is open-ended or open-ended mathematics questions. This research aims to find out how the use of the open end model can improve students' creative thinking abilities, how students respond to the use of the open end model in mathematics learning and whether mathematics learning using the open end model can improve students' creative thinking abilities. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method, data collection instruments using test questions, observation sheets (teacher activities and student activities), interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' creative thinking abilities by using the open end model in mathematics learning. This can be shown by the increase in the percentage score for each indicator in cycle I and cycle II. A cycle or round in PTK is a one-time learning process in accordance with the plan that has been prepared. Teacher activity observations in cycle I were 68.42%, increasing to 85.26% in cycle II and observations of student activity in cycle I were 76.47% to 89.41. % in cycle II.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Islamic education management at Al Mujaddid Sabak Institute, focusing on its role in developing students' knowledge and character. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, the research highlights the institution's holistic efforts, including curriculum development, professional teacher training, and innovative teaching methods. The findings reveal that the integration of Islamic values into the curriculum not only enhances academic outcomes but also shapes students' moral and ethical character. Despite challenges such as resource limitations and student resistance to active learning methods, the institution has addressed these through strategic leadership, collaboration with stakeholders, and continuous evaluation. The study concludes that effective Islamic education management significantly impacts the quality of graduates and their ability to contribute positively to society. This model provides valuable insights for other higher education institutions aiming to balance academic excellence with character development.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis Strategi Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Siswa Di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu Muslimatul Ittihadziah Parit Subulus Salam Desa Pancur Kecamatan Keritang Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Riau. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, Wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pertama, Strategi Pembelajaran Al-Qur'an Hadis di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu Muslimatul Ittihadziah mencakup tiga metode utama: Metode Iqra', Metode Qira'aty, dan Metode An-Nahdliyah. Ketiga metode ini menciptakan pendekatan komprehensif dalam pengajaran Al-Qur'an, memungkinkan siswa untuk memahami tajwid, penghayatan, dan pemahaman makna Al-Qur'an. Kedua, Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an siswa di sekolah ini terlihat meningkat dengan baik. Siswa memiliki kebiasaan shalat dan ibadah, membaca Al-Qur'an setiap hari, berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan keagamaan, memiliki kesadaran etika dan moral yang baik, menunjukkan sikap peduli, dan mendapatkan dukungan dari guru-guru yang berperan dalam pengawasan dan pembinaan.Ketiga ,metode pengajaran Al-Qur'an, yaitu Metode Iqra', Metode Qira'aty, dan Metode An-Nahdliyah, memberikan dampak positif pada pembelajaran Al-Qur'an. Masing-masing memiliki keunggulan sendiri dalam mengembangkan pemahaman siswa tentang Al-Qur'an. Keempat, Faktor pendukung dalam strategi pembelajaran Al-Qur'an dan Hadis mencakup komitmen siswa, ketersediaan sumber belajar, dukungan orang tua, kualitas pengajaran, dan lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung. Sementara faktor penghambat meliputi kurangnya motivasi siswa, keterbatasan sumber daya, teknologi yang terbatas, gangguan lingkungan, dan kesibukan lainnya. Dengan memanfaatkan faktor pendukung dan mengatasi faktor penghambat, sekolah dapat terus meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an siswa.
