Abstract

The advancement of technology in an electrical system is something that cannot be avoided as it develops, such as public facilities, and so on, it must follow a development in order to boost community work effectiveness and optimize existing devices in public areas. Lighting facilities at places of worship (temples) are still operational or manually operated, particularly in Tambawu Village. For energy and cost efficiency, this study seeks to install a light sensor (photocell) on street lighting in the Pura Khayangan Tiga, Tambawu Village area. The observation method, which is used to compute the overall use of sensors in lighting, the literature study approach, and the implementation of activities for linking lighting installations with a light sensor system were all employed in this study to collect some supporting data. Where the findings of this study illustrate the energy savings that occur when lighting is still operated manually versus when lighting is controlled by smart lighting or works automatically. Of course, the cost of paying for power tariffs on the lighting side demonstrates the energy savings. Where, the results of the efficiency that can be achieved have a difference of IDR 6,423.72 per month and IDR 77,084.64 per year, with operating costs in manual mode of IDR 52,455 and IDR 629,460,- per year and automatically amounting to IDR 46,031.28 and IDR 552,375.36 per year.

Abstract

Hotel Tonys Villa and Resort was established in 2000 which is one of the 4-star hotels on the island of Bali which is located on Jalan Petitenget, South Kuta District, Badung. This hotel has a number of rooms, namely 22 Bungalow Rooms, 9 Pinky Villas, 40 Hotel Rooms, 3 large public pools and so on. One of the problems faced by this hotel is the increase in energy operational costs that are paid more than the budget with a minus average of Rp. 837,713 to Rp. 11,851,463 for each month. The method used is to analyze electricity cost savings by upgrading 160 and 100 KVA transformers to 1 250 KVA transformer, and analyze whether one 250 kVA transformer is able to carry the entire burden of Tonys Villa and Resort Hotel. The use of a 250 KVA transformer is considered more efficient than the use of a transformer (160 KVA and 100 KVA) with a cost difference of IDR 12,875,350 for each month and can save around IDR 154,504,200 within 1 year. In calculating the RM (Minimum Account) fee for the use of a 250 KVA transformer, it is considered more efficient and can save costs of Rp. 4,625,480 for each month if the use of the transformer is less than 40 hours and if the customer uses the transformer for more than 40 hours of use, then the financing will be calculated normally.

Abstract

This study contains an electric power system consisting of generation, distribution and distribution. One type of power plant is a Gas Diesel Power Plant (PLTDG). As industrial activities and population increase, the demand for electrical power also increases. This results in each generator having to be effective and maximum so as not to cause losses, the generator must also be environmentally friendly so as not to cause global warming. Where the effect of specific fuel consumption and load percentage greatly affects thermal efficiency, as well as the amount of fuel consumption greatly affects the economy and CO2 emissions generated at the power plant. Therefore, it is important to know the efficiency from an economic point of view, the performance of the PLTDG power plant and the resulting CO2 emissions. One of the efforts made is by changing the main fuel for the generator. The results of the analysis show that using LNG fuel thermal efficiency, electricity costs per kWh and the resulting emissions are better than using HSD fuel.

Abstract

Kemasan produk (packaging) merupakan material yang membungkus untuk melindungi suatu produk. Fungsi utama kemasan adalah untuk melindungi produk agar kualitas produk tetap baik dan memudahkan konsumen ketika membawa produk tersebut. Penggunaan packaging dapat meningkatkan umur simpan serta melindungi produk dari berbagai kerusakan. Dalam menentukan sebuah kemasan terhadap suatu produk terdapat proses yang harus dilalui yaitu penentuan tujuan pembuatan desain kemasan, pemikiran konsep kemasan yang diinginkan, lalu dilanjutkan dengan pengolahan grafis seperti logo pada kemasan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya kemasan terhadap suatu produk kepada masyarakat Desa Selat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah edukasi tentang packaging senat senut pisang nugget. Kesimpulan dengan dilakukannya pengabdian ini warga desa telah dibekali pemahaman mengenai pentingnya kemasan untuk produk dan perencanaan desain kemasan produk.

Abstract

Elementary education or elementary school is the initial momentum for children to improve their abilities, from elementary school they get learning immunity which then becomes a habit for them to do in the future. Learning language in elementary schools is an activity to equip students from the start on an ongoing basis so that students have discipline in thinking and speaking, most language teachers are not very aware of the importance of coaching writing training so that it causes students to have low writing creativity. Based on the results of observations at SDN 4 Tiga, Bangli, it was found that students in grade I had low creativity and writing skills. Keywords: Education, Elementary School, Students

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak dari perbaikan factor daya terhadap efisiensi jaringan, penghematan biaya dan juga penambahan beban baru yang dapat dipasang tanpa harus memperbesar kapasitas daya terpasang. Hasil pengukuran faktor daya pada Tranformator 2500kVA/400V LVMSB-CH2 sebesar 0,75 lebih rendah dari faktor daya standar 0,85 yang ditetapkan PLN. Secara keseluruhan faktor daya yang rendah akan membuat tagihan rekening listrik menjadi besar karena juga harus menangung biaya finalty pemakaian daya reaktif yang berlebihan. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memperbaiki factor daya menjadi 0,95 dengan memasang kapasitor bank pada LVMSB-CH2. Berdasarkan analisis konsumsi energi selama 1 bulan pada LVMSB-CH2 sebelum perbaikan faktor daya sebesar 1.015.293,39 kWh dengan efisiensi 93,08%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan faktor daya menjadi 0,95, konsumsi energi menjadi 988.811,67 kWh dengan efisiensi energi listrik 95,57%. Diperoleh penghematan biaya dari perbaikan faktor daya sebesar Rp 27.429.236,83. Beban baru yang bisa dipasang sebesar 422 kVA tanpa harus memperbesar kapasitas daya terpasang. Sedangkan untuk melakukan perbaikan faktor daya menjadi 0,95 dibutuhkan Kapasitor Bank sebesar 829,86 kVAR.

Abstract

Community service has been carried out in Tiga Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency, Bali Province. This community service activity was carried out for 27 days, starting from January 16 to February 11, 2023. Desa Tiga traditionally has one unit and is summarized in Gebong Satak Tiga Buungan which consists of 9 Pakraman villages. In Tiga Village, there are several potentials to be used as work programs, namely the agricultural sector, the livestock sector, tourism objects, teaching and education. This potential can help the main objective of implementing community service, namely to improve the quality of human resources in improving and developing the quality of the village. This community service begins with an assessment process to find out the village's potential as a means of implementing community service. The implementation of the community service program is carried out in a balanced manner starting with planning, maturation and implementation of the work program, the potential that researchers choose here is how to sort waste in the 3R way through education with wall magazine media. Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilaksanakan di desa Tiga, kecamatan susut, kabupaten Bangli, provinsi Bali. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini Dilaksanakan selana 27 hari, yang dimulai pada tanggal 16 januari sampai 11 februari 2023. Desa tiga secara adat istiadat memiliki satu kesatuan dan terangkum didalam gebong satak tiga buungan yang terdiri dari 9 desa pakraman. Di Desa Tiga ini terdapat beberapa potensi untuk dijadikan program kerja yaitu diantaranya sektor pertanian, sektor perternakan, objek wisata, mengajar dan edukasi. Potensi tersebut dapat membantu tujuan utama pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kualitas desa tersebut. Pengabdian masyarakat ini diawali dengan proses penjajakan untuk mengetahui potensi desa yang menjadi sarana dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan secara seimbang diawali dengan perencanaan, pematangan serta pelaksanaan program kerja tersebut, potensi yang peneliti pilih disini adalah bagaimana memilah sampah dengan cara 3R melalui edukasi dengan media majalah dinding

Abstract

Permasalahan (GAP): Penelitian berfokus pada bagaimana peranan badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan politik berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada yaitu rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan politik, kurangnya partisipasi yang baik dari masyarakat terkait kegiatan politik,Keikutsertaan atau partisipasi politik merupakan bagian terpenting dalam hidup bernegara dan wujud dari demokrasi. Akan tetapi partisipasi dari generasi muda masih kurang Melalui Peraturan Walikota No.85 Tahun 2013 tentang tugas pokok serta fungsi Badan Kesatuan bangsa dan Politik mengatur tentang pemberian pendidikan politik yang berguna untuk memberi pemahaman politik agar terjadi partisipasi yang aktif dan masif dari generasi muda Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peranan Kesbangpol dalam meningkatkan partisipasi generasi muda dalam hal politik serta mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menghambat Kesbangpol dalam melakukan peningkatan partisipasi pemuda. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan dari apa yang diperoleh di lapangan. Peneliti menemukan fakta bahwa terdapat beberapa hambatan dalam upaya peningkatan partisipasi generasi muda yakni adanya perubahan struktur organisasi, kurang jelasnya bentuk lembaga, keterbatasan dana dan pola pikir generasi muda Hasil/Temuan: Peneliti menemukan bahwa terdapat upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi hambatan yakni pelaksanaan tugas sesuai aturan dan koridor, menerapkan skala prioritas dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan serta melakukan pendidikan politik pada generasi muda secara masif. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukan peran kesbangpol dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik pemuda secara keseluruhan sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

The farming program in the village is 70% dependent on rice and cloves. which has approximately a harvest time interval of three to one year, while the percentage of girlfriend water flowers (Impatiens balsamina) cultivation in the village of Getakan is still 30%, therefore activities are more focused on raising the cultivation of water henna plants, so that farmers have additional income every day. However, currently there are problems, in terms of reduced flower production, lack of pest management using pesticides, minimal flower quality improvement, lack of knowledge about social media as a means of promotion, and stages of online education. This study aims to provide education regarding steps, tips, and also information related to the application of girlfriend water flowers (Impatiens balsamina) cultivation and promotion on social media as well as increasing knowledge and also developing community farming related to optimizing the potential of paddy fields by cultivating commodities that can be used to produce and make a product as additional income for rural communities. The results obtained by the people of Getakan Village can produce good and quality girlfriend water flowers (Impatiens balsamina) so that they increase their daily income.
