Abstract

Email is one of the most common ways to communicate and exchange information inside and outside the office. The manager of the Garut Post office always holds meetings and visits outside the city so that the manager is not always in his office. At the Garut Post office there are several employees based on their level, such as permanent employees and interns. In making payroll, permanent employees do not need to communicate with the manager because it is already listed at the Garut Post office. However, interns must communicate with their manager, so this is often done by sending email messages. Based on the results of interviews conducted with the manager of the Garut Post office, according to him, messages via email are not always safe in sending personal and confidential information. According to a study, 85% of all cyber attacks that occur on companies are caused by phishing attacks via email. Phishing attacks are the most common technique used by hackers to steal sensitive information from email users. The Garut Post Office needs to have a Website-Based Application for Securing Email Messages in Images Using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Least Significant Bit (LSB), so that it can increase the level of security and privacy in sending and receiving email messages for Interns and Managers. The methodology is the Extrime Programming (XP) methodology, to encrypt email messages using AES for security, as well as inserting the encrypted message into an image using the LSB method so that it is not visible. In addition, this research wants to integrate this technique into the website interface, test its security effectiveness, and contribute to the field of information security.

Abstract

Technological advances nowadays continue to increase rapidly, where shops or entrepreneurs who run their business using technology will provide advantages in doing business. Meanwhile, shops that do not have information technology in business will easily be overtaken by other shops, such as the Pitbox shop where sales have decreased due to the lack of technology in marketing products, making it difficult to reach potential customers and the lack of information is not conveyed to consumers. . This research aims to develop a website-based application that uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology to assist Pitbox shops in marketing motorbike accessory products. The main objective is to provide marketing media that can convey complete information about motorbike accessory products to consumers. The method used in this research is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Augmented Reality technology is used to integrate AR features into the website applications being developed. The results of this research show that this application allows users to view motorbike accessories in real-time, provides complete information about the product, and improves consumer experience in selecting and purchasing motorbike accessory products.

Abstract

The application of sophisticated Augmented Reality (AR) technology in providing information about campus facilities is an innovative and effective approach. Continuous research is developing an Augmented Reality application that will provide a visual display of the facilities on the Garut Institute of Technology campus. This research effort is to change the Augmented Reality approach which previously focused on layout displays to place more emphasis on virtual displays of facilities, so that they are easier for students to understand. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) carried out using the ADDIE development approach, which involves the sequence analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate. Application development is carried out using Visual Studio Code software. The results of this research show a virtual visualization of campus facilities, including various areas such as classrooms, parking areas, canteens, prayer rooms, and language laboratories. Users can access visualizations of these facilities via smartphones and other hardware, allowing them to view these facilities in virtual form and with detailed depictions of campus facilities. The results of testing user satisfaction with the application show a very good level of acceptance.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi, khususnya dalam bidang Virtual Reality (VR), telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pemasaran destinasi pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi VR Tour berbasis web untuk Taman Wisata Alam Gunung Papandayan. Menggunakan pendekatan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), penelitian ini melalui tahapan konsep, desain, pengumpulan materi, perakitan, pengujian, dan distribusi. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi VR Tour berhasil menyajikan informasi detail mengenai objek wisata di Gunung Papandayan, seperti kolam renang air hangat, hutan mati, dan area camping, yang sebelumnya kurang dikenal. Pengujian aplikasi dengan Black Box Testing menunjukkan semua fungsionalitas bekerja dengan baik, dan aplikasi berhasil dipublikasikan dengan panduan pengguna yang memadai. Penerapan teknologi VR ini diharapkan dapat menarik lebih banyak pengunjung dan meningkatkan minat wisatawan untuk mengunjungi Gunung Papandayan secara langsung.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop android-based interactive learning media to help grade 1 elementary school students understand addition and subtraction operations. Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) includes the stages of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The learning media is built using Adobe Animate and equipped with gamification elements such as badges, countdown, and score to increase student engagement. Alpha and beta testing were conducted on users, with beta testing results showing a user satisfaction score of 87.4% based on a Likert scale. The results show that the developed interactive application is feasible to be used as an alternative to learning mathematics in elementary schools.

Abstract

Kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi komunikasi dan informasi telah membawa dampak signifikan di bidang pendidikan, mengubah cara orang mendapatkan data dan informasi secara cepat, tepat, dan akurat. Sekolah SMPN Satu Atap 1 Pamulihan ini berada di wilayah dengan akses yang terbatas, sehingga penyampaian informasi kepada publik, khususnya mengenai fasilitas sekolah, masih mengalami banyak kendala. Saat ini, sarana informasi yang dimiliki sekolah masih minim, sehingga jangkauan penyebaran informasi menjadi terbatas dan tidak efisien. Di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital, sekolah perlu solusi inovatif untuk memperkenalkan fasilitas dan keunggulannya secara lebih luas. Salah satu solusinya adalah Virtual Tour, yang memungkinkan penyajian informasi fasilitas prasarana sekolah secara virtual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat mempermudah penyebaran informasi mengenai prasarana sekolah kepada siswa baru, calon siswa, dan masyarakat, sekaligus berfungsi sebagai media promosi untuk SMPN Satu Atap 1 Pamulihan. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang meliputi tahap concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi virtual tour dengan konsep fungsionalitas multi platform dan berfungsi sebagai media informasi serta promosi. Aplikasi Virtual Tour ini menggunakan pengujian aplha serta menyajikan informasi prasarana secara virtual diantaranya, gerbang sekolah, jalan sekolah, gudang sekolah,  lorong sekolah, tugu pembentukan sekolah, lapangan upacara, lorong guru, lorong lab komputer, ruangan lab komputer, toilet, lorong kelas dan ruangan kelas 7A, 7B, 8, dan kelas 9. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, sekolah dapat memperluas jangkauan informasi dan promosi kepada khalayak yang lebih luas.
