Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja adalah kejadian yang tidak diharapkan dan terjadi saat melakukan pekerjaan. Kecelakaan dapat timbul dari beberapa faktor yaitu faktor manusia, faktor lingkungan dan faktor peralatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor penyebab kecelakaan kerja dengan kejadian tersayat pada pembersih bawang di Pasar Segiri dan Pasar Kedondong Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dan menggunakan rancangan cross-sectional dengan total sampel sebanyak 31 responden. Variabel yang diamati adalah alat yang digunakan, pencahayaan, masa kerja, usia dan penggunaan APD. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji chi-square menunjukkan ada hubungan alat yang digunakan (p=0,006), pencahayaan (0,038), masa kerja (p=0,013), usia (0,045) dan penggunaan APD (p=0,042) dengan kejadian tersayat pada pembersih bawang. Faktor penyebab kejadian tersayat yang menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan adalah alat yang di gunakan, untuk itu disarankan kepada Disperindagkop untuk meningkatkan pembinaan kepada pekerja serta pekerja diharapkan berkonsentrasi, fokus serta menggunakan APD saat melakukan pekerjaannya.

Abstract

Es batu merupakan air yang didinginkan pada suhu di bawah 0 °C dan digunakan sebagai bahan pelengkap minuman. Es batu banyak dijual termasuk di tepi jalan Wahid Hasyim 2 Kecamatan Sempaja. Berdasarkan survey pendahuluan didapatkan 5 sampel es batu positif mengandung Escherichia coli. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan higiene sanitasi dengan kandungan Escherichia coli pada es batu industri rumah tangga di tepi jalan Wahid Hasyim Kecamatan  Sempaja  Kota  Samarinda.  Jenis  penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  kuantitatif  dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah penjual es batu di tepi jalan Wahid Hasyim 2Kecamatan Sempaja Kota Samarinda berjumlah sebanyak 50 orang. Penentuan besar sampel menggunakan tabel sampel Krejcie dan Morgan sehingga didapatkan sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampling dilakukan dengan cara Cluster Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisioner, observasi dan uji laboratorium. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat ( menggunakan uji fisher p=0,05). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan uji Fisher Exact, didapatkan hasil bahwa ada hubungan pemilihan air bahan baku es batu (p=0,03) dan penyimpanan air bahan baku es batu dengan kandungan Eschericia coli  dalam es batu (p=0,03). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengolahan air bahan baku es batu dengan kandungan Eschericia coli dalam es batu (p=0,15). Saran yang diberikan terhadap penjual es batu sebaiknya tetap menjaga higiene sanitasi pemilihan, pengolahan dan penyimpanan es batu.

Abstract

Background: Obesity is defined as an increase in energy intake compared to energy expenditure resulting in body fat deposits and eventually weight gain. The prevalence of obesity has increased sharply in the Asia Pacific region. Many factors cause obesity. Based on data obtained from the Gorontalo District Health Office in 2018, it showed that the incidence of obesity was 8.795 cases (30.9%) consisting of 1,971 cases of men (6.9%) and 6,824 cases of women (24.0%). Purpose: The purpose of the study was to see the correlation of nutritional intake, family income, and stress levels with the incidence of obesity in adolescents. Research methods: This type of research uses observational analytic research with a cross sectional study design. With data analysis techniques using Chi Square test. The population in this study were all teenagers in Bunto Village, East Popayato District, Pohuwato Regency. By using exhaustive sampling sampling technique. Research result : Based on the research results of energy intake with obesity obtained p value ((0,320>α(0,05)). Protein intake with obesity obtained p value ((0,599>α(0,05)). Fat intake with obesity obtained p value ((( 0.108>α(0.05)).Carbohydrate intake with obesity, obtained p value ((0.353>α(0.05)). Income with obesity obtained p value ((0.160>α(0.05)). Stress level with the incidence of obesity obtained p value ((0.645>α(0.05)). Conclusion : It was concluded that nutrient intake, income and stress levels were not correlated with the incidence of obesity in adolescents. As a suggestion to continue to provide information about the importance of maintaining nutritional intake in every food consumed

Abstract

Abstract Background: The market is one of the public facilities that often experiences fires because it has a high density of occupants and goods so that fires can have an impact on the area around the market. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to find out the technical fire protection system in Segiri Market, Samarinda City. Research Metodes: Uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at Segiri Market. Informant selection technique with purposive sampling, amounting to 4 people and data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documention. Results: There are no emergency response procedures, site completeness such as a water source in the form of the Karang Mumus River whivh is behind the market, there are 2 environmental road access points, namely the main route with a width of ± 10 m and the mosque route with a width of ± 5 m and there are  bend with a width of ±2.5 m, there are no yard hydrants and gathering points.  Then active and passive protection systems are not available and no means of exit are provided at the Segiri Market. Conclusion: Make fire emergency response procedures, pay attention to environmental road access, namely the width of the bend in the mosque lane with a minimum requirement of 4 m, 54 yard hydrants, provide assembly points with provisions of 0.3 m2/person, active and passive protection systems such as  306 dry chemical powder fire extinguishers, 250 sprinklers and building hydrants connected to the sprinkler. Then providing fire alarms with 60 manual call points, replacing building materials with gypsum materials and carrying out fire resistance tests as well as providing 4 access exit facilities with evacuation route signs Keywords: Fire, Market, Active and Passive Protection Systems

Abstract

This outreach focuses on community service as a response to findings in the literature review regarding waste management using the 3R principles in Indonesia and also making ecobricks as an effort to process waste so that it has useful value. Involving the community directly, service activities aim to implement the 3R principles in daily life and tell the community how to make ecobricks. In the context of community empowerment, this research notes positive behavioral changes that emerge from a participatory approach, such as increased awareness of waste management and active participation in sustainable practices. The results of this service offer in-depth insight into how involving the community directly can be the key to success in achieving sustainable waste management practices, forming a more environmentally conscious society, and creating a positive impact in the local economic context.
