Abstract

This study examines the Merarik Nyongkolan tradition in the Sasak community of Bajur Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok, from an Islamic legal perspective. The tradition, which involves the "elopement" of the bride and a Nyongkolan procession, has often been questioned regarding its conformity with Islamic law. The research utilizes a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with community leaders, religious scholars, and married couples and direct observation of the Nyongkolan procession. The findings reveal that while most of the community supports the preservation of this tradition, debates arise concerning certain elements that are perceived as inconsistent with Islamic principles, such as the "elopement" of the bride and the public, festive parades. The contribution of this research lies in its in-depth explanation of how the Sasak community strives to balance the preservation of local culture with adherence to Islamic law. It also recommends adapting the tradition to align more closely with religious values without losing its cultural identity.

Abstract

Engagement from students was low, with many students still selective in choosing friends in social settings and showing little interest in making new friends. The low academic achievement of the students, largely due to their lack of focus in class and their perception of math as an uneasy and boring subject, provided additional context for the research. In view of this, a two-cycle phased classroom action research project with two meetings was conducted. Each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Grade IV students of SD Negeri Mertasinga 07 became the subject of this study, which aimed to improve their math learning and gotong royong attitude. Data was collected using questionnaires, assessment sheets, and observation sheets. The results showed that gotong royong improved in both cycles. During cycle II, the mean score of cooperative attitude increased from 2.18 in cycle I to 2.84. Students' math learning achievement increased in each cycle. The learning achievement level in the first cycle was 55.17% (or an average of 69.13 points), while in the second cycle it reached 94.82% (or an average of 84.65 points). The increase in academic achievement was 39.65 percent.

Abstract

The cognitive learning outcomes in science and social studies subjects of students in grade V are low. This study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students in science and social studies subjects through the application of the Inquiry Learning model with the CRT approach and adjustments to the learning styles of grade V students. This study uses the Classroom Action Research design of the Kemmis and MCTaggart models consisting of two cycles. The subjects of this study were 26 grade V students. Data collection techniques used non-test techniques (observation sheets); and test techniques (evaluation questions). Data analysis techniques with quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate: Increased student activity in cycle I by 75% with good criteria to 91.66% with very good criteria; Increased social studies learning outcomes of grade V students with an average of 75 (completeness 80.76%) in cycle I increasing to 95 (completeness 96.15%) in cycle II. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Inquiry Learning model with the CRT approach and accommodating learning styles has proven effective in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of grade V students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in reading written information among grade III students. This condition often causes students to experience misunderstandings or misconceptions in understanding the contents of the material, including in the context of learning about cultural diversity. The purpose of this study is to improve students' cultural literacy through the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model integrated with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach to the material "Different is Beautiful" in the Pancasila Education subject. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The learning media used include happy notes in the form of traditional houses, regional dance flashcards, AR flashcards of traditional games, and diversity spinners. The results of the study showed an increase in students' cultural literacy achievements; in cycle I most students only achieved 2-3 indicators out of 6 indicators set, while in cycle II 95.2% of students achieved 4-6 indicators. Thus, the implementation of the local culture-based STAD model has proven effective in improving students' cultural literacy, both in terms of knowledge, reading skills, and attitudes of respecting diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to critically review the protection of children's rights in Islamic family law and explore the challenges faced in its implementation. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, involving the analysis of primary literature such as the Qur'an, Hadith, and fiqh books from various schools of thought, as well as secondary literature including books, journal articles, research reports, and related official documents. The results of the study indicate that although Islamic family law provides for the protection of children's rights based on Sharia principles, its implementation faces various challenges, including differences in interpretation between schools of thought, cultural practices that do not always align with Islamic principles, and a lack of public awareness. The contribution of this research is to provide a critical perspective and recommendations for improving the system of children's rights protection in Islamic family law, by encouraging collaboration between governments, civil society, and international organizations to create a more just and inclusive system Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan kritis terhadap perlindungan hak anak dalam hukum keluarga Islam serta mengeksplorasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research, yang melibatkan analisis literatur primer seperti Al-Qur'an, Hadis, dan kitab fikih dari berbagai mazhab, serta literatur sekunder termasuk buku, artikel jurnal, laporan penelitian, dan dokumen resmi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun hukum keluarga Islam memberikan perlindungan hak anak berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip syariat, implementasinya menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk perbedaan interpretasi antar mazhab, praktik budaya yang tidak selalu sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam, dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah memberikan pandangan kritis dan rekomendasi untuk memperbaiki sistem perlindungan hak anak dalam hukum keluarga Islam, dengan mendorong kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat sipil, dan organisasi internasional untuk menciptakan sistem yang lebih adil dan inklusif.   Kata kunci: Perlindungan Hak Anak, Hukum Keluarga Islam, Tinjauan Kritis.

Abstract

Pendampingan dilaksanakan dengan santri Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Sukajadi sebagai objek dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan tujuan memberikan pengetahuan berupa ilmu tajwid dasar yang bermanfaat atau membantu mempermudah santri dalam membaca serta menghafalkan Al-Qur’an. Pendampingan ini mengambil program pembelajaran atau penyuluhan dalam penerapan ilmu tajwid dalam mengembangkan bacaan Al-Qur’an yang baik dan benar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan dengan memberikan edukasi kepada para santri baru mengenai tata cara membaca Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar sesuai kaidah ilmu tajwid. Pendampingan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan santri baru tentang tata cara membaca Al-Quran dan diharapkan dapat diamalkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara langsung di Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Sukajadi. Terdapat beberapa pendampingan pengabdian tentang pengabdian pembelajaran tajwid salah satunya adalah nama pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh Adiva Syaifullah, Farah Maulida Rahmah, Fathatus Salamah dan Triana Srisantyorini yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2020.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kesantunan berbahasa Indonesia siswa sekolah dasar (SD) dalam pembelajaran oneline (daring) di masa pandemi Covid-19 dengan guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 4 SD dan guru kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran oneline (daring) siswa kelas 4 SD Laboratorium UMP dengan guru terdapat pematuhan tuturan prinsip kesantunan Geoffrey Leech dengan 6 maksim dan pelanggaran tuturan prinsip kesantunan Geoffrey Leech dengan 4 maksim. Dalam pembelajaran oneline, siswa menunjukkan kesantunan dengan guru. Namun, masih terdapat ketidaksantunan siswa dalam berkomunikasi dengan guru. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penggunaan media (platform) baru dalam pembelajaran sehingga siswa tidak menyimak dan memperhatikan pelajaran sehingga siswa kurang memperhatikan kesantunan berbicara dengan guru dan teman. Abstract

The low science literacy of students at SD Negeri 1 Sumbang, especially in understanding the IPAS material “Bumiku Sayang Bumiku Malang”, is the problem identified in this study. The lack of contextual teaching materials and the use of conventional learning methods cause students' interest and critical thinking skills to decline. This study aims to improve students' science literacy through the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by interactive e-modules. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method of the Kemmis and McTaggart model, carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data collection instruments included teacher and student activity observations, and science literacy tests. The results showed that the application of CTL model assisted by interactive e-module effectively improved students' science literacy. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of student learning completeness on IPAS material, as well as an increase in student learning activities in the classroom. Thus, the use of the CTL model assisted by interactive e-modules can be an innovative alternative in improving science literacy skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kedungoleng 03 melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media gambar pada materi “Sayangi Bumi”. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas dua pertemuan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL berbantuan media gambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 65% dengan nilai rata-rata 64,7, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81% dengan nilai rata-rata 81,5. Skor rata-rata angket keterampilan menulis juga meningkat dari 59,99% (kategori cukup) pada siklus I menjadi 82,62% (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II. Selain itu, sikap kemandirian siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PBL berbantuan media gambar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study was conducted with the objective of identifying and analyzing the learning difficulties experienced by students in the third grade of SD Negeri 2 Cihonje in solving mathematical story problems on multiplication and to identify the factors causing these difficulties. The background of this study stems from the phenomenon that many elementary school students still consider mathematics to be a difficult subject, especially when presented in the form of story problems that require a combination of literacy and numeracy skills. A qualitative approach was applied in this study, utilizing a descriptive method to present the findings. The subjects in this study were four third-grade students selected through purposive sampling and one classroom teacher. This study employed interviews, observations, and documentation as instruments of data collection, while the analysis was conducted through the processes of reducing, presenting, and interpreting the data. The results of the study show that students face difficulties in five stages according to Newman's framework: reading, comprehension, transformation, process skills, and writing the final answer. These difficulties are influenced by internal factors, including intellectual, emotional, and physiological aspects, as well as external factors, such as teaching strategies and family environment. These findings highlight that learning difficulties in multiplication word problems are multidimensional, requiring contextual, interactive, and adaptive teaching strategies, along with family support, to improve students' conceptual understanding and confidence in learning mathematics. Keywords: learning difficulties, story problems, multiplication ABSTRAK Analisis terhadap hambatan yang dialami oleh peserta didik kelas III di SD Negeri 2 Cihonje dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada topik perkalian menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini, sekaligus pengungkapan variabel-variabel yang berkontribusi terhadap kesulitan tersebut. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena terkait masih banyaknya siswa SD masih beranggapan bahwa matematika sebagai pelajaran yang sulit, terutama ketika disajikan dalam bentuk soal cerita yang menuntut keterpaduan keterampilan literasi dan numerasi. Teknik deskriptif dipilih sebagai pendeketan pada studi ini. Subjek dalam penelitian yaitu 4 siswa kelas tiga yang dipilih secara purposive sampling serta satu guru kelas. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dokumentasi dan dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwasanya para peserta didik menghadapi kesulitan pada lima tahap menurut kerangka kerja Newman: membaca, pemahaman, transformasi, keterampilan proses, dan penulisan jawaban akhir. Kesulitan-kesulitan ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, termasuk aspek intelektual, emosional, dan fisiologis, dan faktor eksternal, seperti lingkungan keluarga beserta strategi pengajaran. Temuan ini menyoroti bahwa kesulitan belajar dalam soal cerita perkalian bersifat multidimensi, memerlukan strategi pengajaran yang kontekstual, interaktif, dan adaptif, bersama dengan dukungan keluarga, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa, dan kepercayaan diri dalam mempelajari matematika.
