Abstract

Abstract: Based on the reality in the field, especially during the author's observations about the spin ability of the PTM Malay Sport Center table tennis athletes, it is because in every exercise or competition it looks less than optimal, which results in a decrease in technical abilities, especially in the spin technique they have. This often happens because of a lack of physical abilities. This means that physical abilities and spin abilities are related. This research aims to: determine the contribution of arm muscle strength to the spin ability of the PTM Malay Sport Center table tennis athletes. The population in this study were all PTM Malay Table Tennis athletes, amounting to 7 male athletes. Sampling with total sampling technique, by taking the entire population to be the research sample. The instruments in this study were push-ups to measure the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles and the ability to top spin. The data obtained were analyzed using product moment correlation. Contribution is made by using a determinant coefficient. Based on the results of the research described in the previous chapters, the following conclusions can be drawn: there is a contribution of arm muscle strength to the spin ability of the PTM Malay Sport Center table tennis athletes by 4.88%.Key Words: Arm Muscle Strength, Spin Ability

Abstract

Children are admitted to Kindergarten and are expected to help develop their social skills. There are children who are easy to socialize, but there are children who have difficulty adapting and communicating while in the school environment, this condition can be said to be a child experiencing Selective Mutism. With the application of the role playing method, it is expected to be able to handle children who experience Selective Mutism. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the role playing method could reduce the symptoms of Selective Mutism in children. This study used a single case experimental design method with the treatment in the form of role playing given to children. The research subject is a 5-year-old boy who attends Kindergarten on Pamulang, South Tangerang. From the research that has been done, the results show that the application of role playing is effective in overcoming children who experience Selective Mutism, where changes in children's behavior are seen such as being able to start interactions with friends, wanting to play with friends, not crying when their mother is left alone at school, and willing to follow all school activities.

Abstract

Intelligence is a person's ability to solve problems encountered, in this case problems that require thinking skills. The purpose of this article is to find the effect of counseling guidance on the development of intelligence, potential and personality of students. At the end of this article, it can be concluded that the implementation of guidance and counseling on the development of intelligence, potential and personality of students is very influential in shaping the religious personality of students in a directed, sustainable and systematic manner to develop religious nature. This causes commendable behavior in students so that students are more motivated to carry out religious teachings.ABSTRAKKecerdasan adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi, dalam hal ini adalah masalah yang menuntut kemampuan berpikir. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menemukan pengaruh bimbingan konseling terhadap perkembangan kecerdasan, potensi dan kerpibadian peserta didik. Pada penghujung artikel ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling terhadap perkebangan kecerdasan, potensi dan kepribadian peserta didik sangat berpengaruh dalam membentuk kepribadian keagamaan siswa secara terarah, berkesinambungan, dan sistematis untuk mengembangkan fitrah beragama. Hal ini menimbulkan prilaku yang terpuji dalam diri siswa sehingga siswa lebih temotivasi untuk   menjalankan ajaran keagamaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah sikap guru SD dan TK di sekolah negeri dan swasta di Kecamatan Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat, DKI Jakarta terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh seluruh guru TK dan SD yang bekerja di sekolah negeri dan swasta di kecamatan Tanah Abang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melakukan survei pada 68 guru di kecamatan Tanah Abang dengan menggunakan instrumen Teacher Attitudes towards Inclusion Scale (TATIS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Hasil penelitian : 79,41% guru di kecamatan Tanah Abang memiliki sikap sedang terhadap pendidikan inklusif. Selain itu, jumlah guru yang memiliki sikap sikap tinggi (1,47%) terhadap pendidikan inklusif lebih sedikit daripada yang memiliki sikap rendah (19,12%). Selain itu, tidak ada perbedaan signifikan berdasarkan data demografi seperti jenis kelamin, usia, tingkat satuan pendidikan yang diajar, pengalaman mengajar, tingkat pendidikan terakhir guru, dan frekuensi berinteraksi dengan siswa penyandang disabilitas di kelas, kecuali data demografi mengenai jenis satuan pendidikan yang diajar, dimana terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara guru yang mengajar di sekolah negeri dan swasta, dimana guru yang mengajar di swasta memiliki sikap lebih positif dibandingkan guru yang mengajar di sekolah negeri.

Abstract

Sebagian guru Sekolah Dasar mengalami kesulitan dalam mengajar di kelas, terutama karena adanya peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Kesulitan ini umumnya disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan guru dalam mengenali Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus (PDBK), yang mengakibatkan munculnya ketidaktahuan guru dalam menangani PDBK. Situasi ini berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan pembelajaran di kelas, khususnya dalam mendukung pengembangan potensi diri peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Selain itu, hal ini merugikan negara karena potensi generasi muda tidak berkembang secara optimal. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah mengadakan pelatihan bagi guru Sekolah Dasar. Sebagai contoh, telah dilakukan pelatihan bertajuk “Pelatihan Guru Sekolah Dasar dalam Menangani Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus (PDBK)” di Pulau Pramuka, Kecamatan Kepulauan Seribu Utara, Kabupaten Kepulauan Seribu, Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 34 guru dari jenjang Sekolah Dasar hingga Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest, ditemukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru dalam menangani PDBK.

Abstract

Early reading readiness plays a critical role in children’s academic development, yet many students in Indonesia continue to face challenges in acquiring foundational literacy skills. This study aims to map early reading readiness and reading difficulties among children in preschool to Grade 2 in the Thousand Islands, representing the initial stage of developing a contextually appropriate early literacy screening tool. A total of 309 parents and 48 teachers participated using purposive sampling. Data were collected through parent and teacher questionnaires, whose reliability values improved after item refinement (parents: 0.496 → 0.605; teachers: 0.395 → 0.619). Quantitative results revealed several key findings: 76.7% of households lacked dedicated reading spaces, 51.4% of children were not yet reading independently, and 68.7% of Grade 1 students entered school unable to read. Teachers reported high proportions of decoding (72.9%) and comprehension difficulties (58.3%), with comprehension problems being the most frequently identified (total 196 cases). These findings align with the Simple View of Reading and Scarborough’s Reading Rope, indicating that weaknesses in phonemic awareness, decoding, and language comprehension form the core of early reading challenges in this region. The study’s implications highlight the urgent need for an early literacy screening tool that integrates environmental factors, instructional variability, and children’s foundational skills. Such a tool can support early identification and targeted intervention, particularly in geographically unique regions like the Thousand Islands. However, the study is limited by its regional specificity, use of self-report data, and the exploratory nature of the instruments. Future research should expand to multiple regions, incorporate direct child assessments, and involve external expert validation to strengthen the tool development process.
