Abstract

Abstract — Higher education plays an important role in producing competitive human resources. The final project is an academic paper of study results and / or research results, which is carried out independently by students through proposal seminars and result seminars under the guidance of a student supervisor team. In its implementation, it is necessary to distribute the Session schedule to the examiners to attend the Session. This research will try to be able to take advantage of  automation on the system to be able to distribute the Assignment Session invitations so that it can help the Study Program in the process. This research succeeded in creating an automation system using the CodeIgniter framework. When the schedule has been determined, the system will automatically send an  to the Session Examining Team regarding the Session Schedule.

Abstract

Kawangkoan is an area located in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, presenting stunning natural beauty while storing extraordinary historical and cultural richness. The Japanese Cave is a striking historical heritage in Kawangkoan and is also one of the tourist attractions in Minahasa Regency. But unfortunately not everyone dares to visit physically for security reasons. In the world of tourism and history, Virtual Reality can be used as a medium to explore historical tourist attractions without having to visit physically and can also add information from a historical tourist attraction. The purpose of this study is to develop a Virtual Reality application that can be used as a medium for Japanese Cave Exploration in Kawangkoan. The method used in designing this system is MDLC. The results of this study are to produce a VR application that can be used as a medium for Japanese Cave exploration that runs on Android smartphones.

Abstract

Introduction: High-risk pregnancies are a major cause of maternal morbidity and mortality, both on a global and national scale. Tuminting Public Health Center, which is a partner in the Community Partnership Empowerment activities, has a significant number of patients with high-risk pregnancies. This indicates an urgent need for the care of high-risk pregnant women. Pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies require priority and continuous care, including early screening/detection, monitoring, and support. However, a situation analysis at the partner site has identified several issues, including: 1) Posyandu cadres are not actively involved in supporting high-risk pregnant women, resulting in these women not receiving appropriate healthcare for their pregnancy conditions. 2) Health promotion media for high-risk pregnant women is limited, preventing these women from receiving accurate health information tailored to their condition.  The objectives of these activities are to enhance the role of cadres in supporting high-risk pregnant women and to improve the availability of health promotion media as a support tool for cadres in their role. Methods: To address these issues, the proposers offer the following solutions: 1) Training on early detection, monitoring, and support for posyandu cadres using a psychoeducational approach.2) Training on the use of digital media for health promotion for high-risk pregnant women for cadres. Results: This training was attended by 37 cadres at Tuminting Public Health Center. Participants' knowledge levels were evaluated before and after the activity.  The evaluation of these activities showed a p-value of 0.000, indicating that there was a difference in the knowledge of the training participants before and after the training. Conclusion: Training activities with a psychoeducational approach can improve the knowledge of cadres, enabling them to enhance their role in early detection and support for high-risk pregnant women.

Abstract

Pendidikan seks kepada anak sejak dini dan pemilihan jenis tontonan yang sesuai dengan usia anak perlu menjadi perhatian orang tua sebagai upaya untuk mencegah kekerasan seksual yang terjadi pada anak. Namun faktanya pendidikan seksual kepada anak usia prasekolah belum dilakukan secara optimal oleh orang tua sehingga pemahaman seksual pada anak masih terbatas selain itu juga anak suka menonton video di aplikasi yang beresiko munculnya video tidak sesuai usia anak. Belum optimalnya orang tua dalam melakukan pendidikan seksual juga ditemukan di TK GMIM Alfa Omega dan TK Pembina, dimana orang tua mengungkapkan tidak mengetahui cara untuk melakukan pendidikan seksual dan anak suka menggunakan youtube untuk menonton. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dibentuk kegiatan pemberdayaan orang tua dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan metode story telling.dan pemanfaatan youtube kids. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua dalam melakukan pendidikan seksua dengan metode story telling dan penggunaan youtube kids. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri atas 3 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan serta monitoring dan evaluasi yang diikuti oleh orang tua anak usia prasekolah di Tk GMIM Alfa Omega dan TK Pembina. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan orang tua dan keterampilan orang tua dalam melakukan pendidikan seks kepada anak usia prasekolah dan pemanfaatan aplikasi youtube kids. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini membawa dampak positif terhadap kemampuan orang tua melakukan pendidikan seksual dan pengunaan youtube kids sebagai alternatif tontonan bagi anak.
