Abstract

This study discusses the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in instilling the character of social care in students at SMA Negeri 3 Palu. The main problem of this study is how the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in instilling the character of social care in students at SMA Negeri 3 Palu. This study uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of research data are primary and secondary data. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in instilling the character of social awareness in SMA Negeri 3 Palu has been carried out well by implementing group work strategies, understanding religious values ​​through religious activities carried out by schools, exemplary, habituation, giving sanction or punishment. the implementation of these strategies and produces religious values ​​and the character of social care between fellow students and the social environment. This strategy can help in the formation of social awareness characteristics of students to apply discipline in schools and in the surrounding environment. This can be seen from students accustomed to socializing and learning together outside the classroom, the teacher informs and gives good examples to students, such as when the bell rings indicating worship time, the teacher sets a good example by guiding students to their respective places of worship and implementing it the congregation will have a positive impact on the next level, namely the family and community environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tantang impementasi Penguatan pendidikan Karakter (PPK) di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Al Azhar Palu, dengan permasalahan Bagaimana implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Implementasi Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di SMP Al Azhar Mandiri Palu dilakukan dengan cara mengintegrasikan ke dalam tiga poin kegiatan yaitu intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler, penguatan nilai-nilai karakter yang diintegrasikan dalam setiap mata pelajaran dilakukan dengan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran oleh semua pendidik dengan memuat nilai-nilai karakter yang akan dikembangkan. Nilai-nilai tersebut dicantumkan dalam silabus dan RPP, yang selanjutnya dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan kokurikuler dilaksanakan sebagai pendukung kegiatan intrakurikuler yang dimaksudkan untuk lebih memperdalam dan menghayati materi pelajaran yang telah dipelajari dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler di dalam kelas. Contohnya dengan memberi tugas pekerjaan rumah, memperdalam materi dengan membaca buku-buku di perpustakaan yang ada kaitannya dengan materi pembelajaran di kelas, maupun melakukan percobaan dan praktek di laboratorium. Dalam hal ini nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan adalah nilai integritas, tanggung jawab dan mandiri. Sedangkan untuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP Al Azhar Mandiri dilaksanakan melalui tiga kegiatan yaitu kegiatan keagamaan, olah raga dan pembiasaan. Nilai karakter yang diharapkan pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah nilai religius, berani, peduli lingkungan dan disiplin.

Abstract

Teachers have a key role in the education system. They are responsible for providing quality education to students, which impacts on the development of individuals, communities and nations. Therefore, improving teacher professionalism is essential in efforts to improve the quality of education. The purpose of this study is to analyse strategies for developing teacher professionalism through ChatGPT support in the context of education management. It involves an investigation of the literature using a qualitative approach, which entails the assessment and interpretation of data and written materials originating from diverse sources. The conclusion of the strategy of developing teacher professionalism through ChatGPT support in the context of education management is that the utilisation of artificial intelligence can be a very useful tool in advancing the quality of education. ChatGPT can provide quick access to information, training recommendations, and even collaboration in teaching planning. However, it is important to remember that teachers still play a key role in education, and ChatGPT should only be used as a support tool. Therefore, in implementing this strategy, there needs to be clear policies and guidelines to ensure the appropriate use of ChatGPT.

Abstract

This study examines the management of research collaboration between lecturers and students within the context of implementing the Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) framework. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, collecting data through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of institutional documents. The results show that the university has implemented an institutional policy that requires collaboration between lecturers and students in every university-funded research cluster. The number of students involved is adjusted according to the amount of research funding, with measurable publication targets ranging from the Sinta journal to reputable international journals indexed in Scopus. The university also provides 36 journals and two proceedings as a means of scientific dissemination, supporting a culture of publication from an early age. In addition, students are actively involved in community service-based research relevant to their scientific fields, creating a contextual learning experience that strengthens both academic skills and social contributions. The implications of this study suggest that a collaborative approach between lecturers and students in research can enhance the quality of academic publications and enhance students' research skills. Through university support in providing journals and proceedings, as well as student involvement in community service-based research, contextual and socially beneficial learning is created.
