Abstract

Pada dasarnya manusia adalah penghasil aktif sampah. Namun terlepas dari hal tersebut, manusia juga bisa menjadi solusi terbaik dari mengurangi permasalahan sampah. Pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat merupakan salah satu tindakan mengelola sampah dengan baik yang diikuti oleh peran serta masyarakat. Salah satu solusi pengelolaan sampah berwawasan lingkungan yakni Bank Sampah. Bank Sampah Srayan Makarya sendiri merupakan gagasan dari masyarakat guna mewadahi masyarakat luas dalam memilah sampah. Selain itu, Bank Sampah Srayan Makarya juga bertujuan untuk memberikan kesadaran masyarakat agar peduli terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan foto dokumentasi, sehingga peneliti mampu mengetahui mekanisme dan bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah di Bank Sampah Srayan Makarya RT 01 RW 02. Hasil peneliitian menunjukan bahwa Bank Sampah Srayan Makarya sudah melakukan kegiatan dengan baik, seperti memilah sampah dari sumbernya, menyetorkan sampah sampai mencatat hasil dari tabungan nasabah. Selain itu, partisipasi masyarakat memang cenderung kurang dalam beberapa kegiatan. Karena pada dasarnya kegiatan rutin dilakukan hanya seminggu sekali, dan kegiatan lain biasanya dilakukan oleh pihak luar. Beberapa kegiatan seperti pelatihan kerajinan atau ecoprint dilakukan hanya diawal saja. Kesadaran masyarakat memang menjadi peran penting kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam beberapa kegiatan di Bank Sampah Srayan Makarya. Disarankan kepada pengelola Bank Sampah Srayan Makarya untuk lebih aktif dalam memberikan edukasi terhadap masyarakat terkait sampah, agar masyarakat menjadi aktif dalam mengelola sampah dan menjaga lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the framework related to the Government Policy of determining the Average weightage against each citizen of the country, which will decide the value or impact of the Individual Vote given to the Candidate by the Voter in the Election process and similarly that Average Weightage will be deciding the Election Candidate validity to run in the Election. Researchers are doing research work in this specific use case using ‘Qualitative Research.’ This research data was taken from social media, Online Media, Websites, Journals, and Articles and then represented in descriptive format. This study indicates that the creation of this Policy will surely improve the quality of the Election process in the country and build more trust in the Citizens in the Electoral Process. There are several milestones that need to be fulfilled for the development and successful implementation of this policy—first, the analysis and determining the critical indicators required for the Average Weightage calculation. Second, the selection of the medium for the solution. Finally, then start the development of the solution based on the analysis. This paper is limited to the extent to which the problem is clearly described, then proposing the solution and how it should work, and lastly, what benefits the solution will be given to resolve the challenge the current Election process is facing.

Abstract

This research intends to describe the map of the progress of democracy studies in Indonesia. The study was performed by searching the Scopus database using the keyword “Democracy in Indonesia.” The search results are then descriptively analyzed based on the year of publishing, the number of publications, the most regularly published writer, source of the article, country of publication, and association. Data is exported in the RIS format to receive a research-creation diagram. The exported data is then interpreted and evaluated using the VOSviewer program to classify the bibliometric map and the Nvivo 12 plus software to determine the most general categorization of themes and topics. Via network visualization, lines between nodes represent the relationships (edges) between inter-nodes. The other lines of connection between nodes, the closer the relationships with records are. Meanwhile, with the visualization of density, it was seen that if the color visualized was getting redder, the subject had been researched a lot, although the topic was only barely researched if it was getting greener. Indonesia's R&D maps on democracy are grouped into six key themes: democracy, politics, social, political, local, and electoral, while political, democracy, politics, social, and growth are the most dominant themes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa penggunaan media sosial Instragram sebagai media komunikasi pemerintah dalam melakukan sosialisasi prosedur pembuatan paspor. Sejalan dengan paradigma e-government, pemerintah menggunakan berbagai platform media digital untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas penyediaan layanan informasi. Instagram menjadi salah satu pilihan pemerintah, karena jumlah penggunanya yang cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kantor imigrasi Yogyakarta sebagai komunikator telah menyampaikan informasi sosialisasi prosedur pembuatan paspor secara informatif dan interaktif melalui media Instagram. Hal tersebut bisa dilihat dari unggahan. Sedangkan masyarakat sebagai komunikan dalam sosialisasi prosedur pembuatan paspor, dengan menyampaikan berbagai macam feedback dengan cara memberikan pendapat. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Instagram sebagai media komunikasi pemerintah dalam sosialisasi prosedur pembuatan paspor dalam studi kasus Kantor Imigrasi Kelas 1 TPI Yogyakarta unggahan Instagram yang ditampilkan mengenai pembuatan paspor sangat update serta informatif karena informasi yang disampaikan pada unggahan tersebut cukup lengkap, kreatif, inovatif dan mudah dipahami.

Abstract

E-democracy involves the idea that digital tools such as the Internet can enhance citizen participation in decision-making. However, Liberia, a post-conflict state, still faces challenges with e-democracy. This article explores the factors obstructing the realisation of e-democracy and its goal of fostering meaningful citizen engagement in Liberia. This study used a qualitative approach, collecting secondary data from peer-reviewed articles, official reports, newspapers, and other sources, and interactively analysed in the NVivo 12 Plus software. The analysis is based on Marianne Kneuer's theory of e-democracy, which comprises three indicators: free and equal access, e-participation, and e-government. The findings indicate that the implementation of e-democracy in Liberia encounters several obstacles: (i) limited free and unequal digital access due to weak legal protections for internet freedom, online intimidation, high internet costs, and low digital literacy; (ii) absence of e-participation as citizens struggle to access timely and reliable government information. Traditional media, especially radio, continues to be the primary source compared to digital platforms; (iii) lack of e-government services owing to ineffective online government platforms and unreliable digital services, which force citizens to rely on traditional methods to access public services.
