Abstract

Manufacture is an activity or process to change the form of material from raw into semi or finished goods. The process begins with designing the product, determining the specifications of the material from which the product is made. A series of manufacturing processes may include cutting, forming, thermal treating, inspection, and finishing. Inspection duties are of the Quality Control section tasks. These duties include visual inspection and measurement that takes place before, during and after the production process. CNC machines that are operated for the cutting processes still use memory in the form of punched paper as a medium for transferring G and M codes to the control system. There are two programming methods in CNC machines, namely incremental method and absolute one. The first is where the reference point is always changing, i.e. the last point is to be used as a new reference for the next. The second is where the reference point is fixed, i.e. the first position is used as a reference for all steps. Spoilers are panels mounted on the upper surface of the wing that, when extended, both increase drag and decrease lift by disrupting the airflow over the wing. Manufacturing steps of the spoiler actuator are material verification, turning processes, removing burs, precipitation hardening, hardness checking, turning for surface finishing, grinding, honing, hole surface finishing, flaw inspection, and packing

Abstract

Mortars have been developed in the field of weapons. One of the developments is the installation of a mortar on the rear of the vehicle platform which is equipped with a navigation system and combined with a computerized fire control system. To support this, a hydraulic system is needed. A hydraulic system is a form of changing or transferring power by using a conducting medium in the form of a liquid fluid to obtain greater power than the initial power released. The purpose of this practical work report is to find out how the hydraulic system works and find out the components used in the hydraulic system for loading and unloading mortar panzers. This research process starts from literature study, field observations, topic determination, data collection, results and discussion, conclusions. Based on this research, the results showed that the way the hydraulic system works, starts from the electric motor which turns on the pump, then the pump sucks the fluid in the tank, after that a fluid flow pressure is produced which then flows towards the valve, the valve will control the direction and pressure, fluid flow rate through the flexible pipe house to the working cylinder. Meanwhile, the components that make up the hydraulic system used are an electric motor with a speed of 1420 rpm, a pump with a power of 12 W and max. pressure 250 bar, manual pump, valve with max. operating pressure 210 bar and max. flow rate 63-100 L/min, flexible house pipe, fluid, pressure gauge, tank with a volume of 50 liters, filter, double acting hydraulic cylinder type accuator.

Abstract

The manufacturing process is an activity or production process that transforms raw materials into finished goods. To accelerate production, the manufacturing process utilizes modern equipment such as machines and implements structured programs to carry out production. The purpose of this internship is to understand the procedures for making the sage green Hambeng Stool, determine the optimal plastic melting time, and identify the factors influencing product defects at Robries. Raw materials are modified through manufacturing processes to form the necessary components. To produce the desired product, several stages must be followed. In its production, the manufacturing process requires machining stages. The manufacturing process begins with designing the product and determining the material specifications for the product. The methods used in this research include literature review, observation, and interviews. This is because the desired product cannot be produced through a single machining process. The production process at ROBRIES complies with the standard operating procedures (SOP), starting with material selection, material melting, material sanding, and finishing.

Abstract

Bengkulu Province from Kaur Regency to Moko-Moko Regency is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. So that many Bengkulu residents are fishermen and farmers. Of course, with abundant natural resources, there are some fish and agricultural products that have not been utilized optimally, for example, young fish on Bai Island which are still widely discarded and milled rice bran which is very cheap. On the other hand, there is a very big problem experienced by farmers or breeders in Bengkulu Province, namely the price of fish and poultry feed is very high, thus making fish and poultry farmers unable to survive because of the high cost of feed. To reduce the production cost of making pellets, a research was carried out on optimizing the operation of the pellet molding machine Type MKS-PLT 15 with dimensions of 340 x 150 x 325 mm, the power used was 450 watts and the voltage used was 220 v / 50 Hz. The research carried out looked at the machine operation at 25 percents, 50 percents, 75 percents and 100 percents, from the results of the research that had been carried out, it was found that the 25 percents machine operation cost of 6mm pellet printing was 0.00762 kwh/kg or Rp. 11.021/kg, machine operation 50 percents production cost 0.009901kwh/kg or Rp. 14.3039/kg machine operation 75 percents pellet production cost 0.01235kwh/kg or Rp. 17.842/kg while the machine operation is 100 percents pellet production cost of 0.01084 kwh/kg or Rp. 15.6605/kg. so that from the research carried out, it was found that the operation of the MKS-PLT15 pellet machine, the low production cost, was in machine operation 0-50 percents of the capacity of the pellet machine's ability to operate.

Abstract

The loading-unloading stand is part of the Panzer mortar loading-unloading tool which functions to hold the mortar and move the mortar from a vertical position to a horizontal position. In this test, the aim was to design a panzer mortar loading-unloading stand using Solidworks software, to find out how to simulate a loading-unloading stand and to determine the strength of the load on the panzer mortar loading-unloading stand. The simulation process on the loading-unloading stand was carried out to determine the von Mises stress, displacement and strain. von Mises stress and strain testing obtained a maximum result of 3,516 MPa and 5,744%  at the end of the shaft, displacement testing obtained a maximum result of 7,726 mm at the center of the shaft. The minimum factor of safety for loading- unloading stands is around 25.5 This occurs due to changes in the shape of the object being applied.

Abstract

Abstract

Stakeholder involvement is the key to the strength of the institution. A village institution with many programs that are the focus of many parties become the center of attention of the entire community, the skill of head of the village (HOV) in appreciating figures who are interested in a program is the key to the success of the program runs and they appreciate the leadership of HOV. An affair has two types of figures, traditional (known before) and emerging (unknown before). As a result of information searching does not cover both it may become an obstacle for a program to be implemented perfectly. Either a strategy of searching covering information or appreciation strategy to both figures is discussed.

Abstract

The community needs education to change from the first behavior which usually un-separates waste to separate the organic types into non-organic types, even needs developing to have a 3R behavior, reduce, reuse and recycle. Educational activities for the community of the RT 29 RW 08, the village Sawah Lebar Baru were begun with socialization and distributing brochures. In the following week, a questionnaire was distributed to assess who had a better perception of waste among them to be collected and formed into a group. This group was directed to develop their perception into behavior; they were given a means of separating organic and non-organic waste. In the upcoming activity program, an assessment will be carried out on them to find out which ones give more time voluntarily to manage waste. Those who do so will be developed into compost producers or craftsmen of valuable objects from waste
