Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the establishment and development of Law and Human Rights Aware Schools that commit to instilling legal values in their students in improving and building a law-cultured society. Through qualitative research methods and multi-dimensional studies, the results of the research show that the Law and Human Rights Awareness School coaching programme is effective in increasing students' knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the programme also succeeded in shaping students' positive attitudes towards legal compliance and encouraging their active participation in law-related activities. A further implication is that there is a positive impact on the legal awareness of the community as a whole, where students who have participated in the Law and Human Rights Aware Schools programme become agents of change who spread legal values to their surrounding environment. Therefore, it is recommended that the Law and Human Rights Aware Schools programme be expanded and integrated more widely into the education curriculum to build a law-abiding society.

Abstract

Rule law, in essence, has accommodated giving teacher protection; however, the reality of teacher criminalization still happen. This study aims for uncovering the challenge of fulfillment right accessibility help law as a form of fair teacher protection. The method used was socio-juridical with an approach qualitative, through tool-collecting data questionnaires, interviews, and discussions focused on teacher respondents, unit education, teacher organizations, and agencies that handle education and protection child. Research results showed that not yet a clear existence mechanism for giving protection law impacted teachers’ accessibility and help the law to the teacher yet running optimally. By substantive mechanism gift help law to the teacher, they yet accommodated. So that when occurring, problems between teachers and students were solved with various actions, of which 48.57% stated through deliberation; however, there was take action alone with each other dropping on social media. Even the teachers who experienced criminalization no get help law. In research, this uncovers required something institutional level idealized area as a Legal Service and Teacher Protection Unit (LSTPU) can be made receptacle fulfillment accessibility help law in realizing fair teacher protection. Abstract

Kesadaran hukum merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pembangunan desa. Desa Kalimantan, Kecamatan Paloh, Kabupaten Sambas merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi menjadi Desa Sadar Hukum, walaupun masih menghadapi kendala, diantaranya rendahnya kesadaran hukum di masyarakat desa dengan masih terdapat angka kriminalitas. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan kamtibmas di desa Kalimantan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kelompok Keluarga Sadar Hukum (Kadarkum). Pendekatan mana merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan kamtibmas di desa. Melalui pendekatan ini, kesadaran hukum dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban dapat ditingkatkan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pembentukan kelompok Keluarga Sadar Hukum dan penyuluhan hukum. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kelompok Keluarga Sadar Hukum telah memberikan hasil yang positif. Setelah dibentuk, kelompok Keluarga Sadar Hukum telah berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum di masyarakat desa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan-kegiatan hukum di desa. Selain itu, kelompok Keluarga Sadar Hukum juga telah berperan aktif dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di desa. Kelompok ini telah membantu Desa dalam pemenuhan indikator pencapaian anugerah Desa Sadar Hukum dari Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan kelompok Keluarga Sadar Hukum merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat di desa
