Abstract

Covid-19 has a significant impact on the life of the Indonesian, including fulfilling the right to education for children. With the social distancing, the Ministry of Education in Indonesia issued a policy by closing schools and replacing the teaching and learning process using an online system. However, there are obstacles during online learning. One of them is parents' unpreparedness to accompany their children. It is necessary to build motivation for parents or families, especially mothers. Children as the goal of education and the realization of child protection have been regulated in legislation. The authors conducted the community service activity with an online legal counseling method to Family Welfare Movement Team (here and after called TP-PKK) in Regency/City throughout West Kalimantan. In conclusion, TP-PKK has a role in creating child protection in fulfillment of education rights during the Covid-19 pandemic. Legal counseling could be carried out widely and sustainably to motivate parents or families to assist their children in the online learning process, so child protection is realized

Abstract

Bullying merupakan salah satu bentuk kekerasan yang sering terjadi di sekolah. dan berdampak negatif terhadap korban, baik secara fisik maupun psikis. Salah satu paya untuk menangani bullying adalah dengan membentuk dan membina sekolah sadar hukum. Sekolah sadar hukum adalah sekolah yang memiliki budaya hukum yang kuat, sehingga seluruh warga sekolah memahami dan menaati hukum. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran warga sekolah tentang hukum dan hak asasi manusia, meningkatkan kemampuan warga sekolah untuk menyelesaikan konflik secara damai, dan meningkatkan peran serta warga sekolah dalam mencegah dan menangani bullying. Target yang akan dicapai dari kegiatan tersebut adalah terbentuknya Kelompok Sekolah Sadar Hukum dengan SK Kepala Sekolah dan terpenuhinya indikator capaian Sekolah Sadar Hukum dari Kanwil Kemenkumham Kalimantan Barat. Kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif. Kegiatan yang akan dilakukan meliputi penyuluhan tentang bullying dan pembentukan sekolah sadar hukum dan HAM dengan sasaran mitra SMA Kemala Bhayangkari, Kecamatan Sui Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya dengan sasaran siswa sejumlah lebih kurang 30 orang dan guru sejumlah 5 orang serta pelibatan mitra penyuluh hukum Kanwil Kemenkumham Kalimantan Barat dalam rangka fasilitasi dan pendampingan pencapaian target pemeneuhan indikator Sekolah Sadar Hukum dan HAM. Hasil dari kegiatan ini peserta teredukasi dan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang hukum dan bullying serta terbentuknya KelompokSekolah Sadar Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia.

Abstract

Kejahatan seksual terhadap anak merupakan pelanggaran serius terhadap hak asasi manusia yang berdampak panjang pada korban. Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2022 tentang Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Seksual (UU TPKS) hadir untuk memberikan perlindungan hukum bagi anak-anak sebagai kelompok rentan. Artikel ini menganalisis penerapan pidana bagi pelaku kejahatan seksual terhadap anak berdasarkan UU TPKS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif, dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa UU TPKS memberikan sanksi berat bagi pelaku, termasuk pidana tambahan seperti kebiri kimia dan pemasangan alat deteksi elektronik. Kesimpulan menegaskan pentingnya penegakan hukum yang efektif untuk menciptakan efek jera sekaligus melindungi hak anak sebagai generasi penerus bangsa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the establishment and development of Law and Human Rights Aware Schools that commit to instilling legal values in their students in improving and building a law-cultured society. Through qualitative research methods and multi-dimensional studies, the results of the research show that the Law and Human Rights Awareness School coaching programme is effective in increasing students' knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the programme also succeeded in shaping students' positive attitudes towards legal compliance and encouraging their active participation in law-related activities. A further implication is that there is a positive impact on the legal awareness of the community as a whole, where students who have participated in the Law and Human Rights Aware Schools programme become agents of change who spread legal values to their surrounding environment. Therefore, it is recommended that the Law and Human Rights Aware Schools programme be expanded and integrated more widely into the education curriculum to build a law-abiding society.

Abstract

Pemilu menjadi keniscayaan di negara dengan Sistem Demokrasi. Penyelenggaraan Pemilihan umum sendiri didasarkan pada pasal 22E Undang-Undang Dasar (UUD) Negara Republik Indonesia tahun 1945 tentang penyelenggaraan Pemilihan umum, sangat jelas bahwa Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) Pusat dan Badan Pengawas Pemilu Daerah bukan satu-satunya pihak yang bertanggung jawab mutlak untuk menjalankan fungsi pengawasan pemilu yang demokratis. Pemilu demokratis juga membutuhkan peran aktif dari kalangan Masyarakat. Pemilu yang berkualitas, transparan, dan adil merupakan landasan utama bagi keberlangsungan demokrasi yang sehat. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, pendidikan pengawasan pemilu bagi masyarakat sangatlah berperan penting dalam memastikan proses pemilu yang berintegritas dan mengedepankan asas luber jurdil dan berintegritas. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pendidikan pengawasan pemilu dan implikasinya dalam mewujudkan asas luber jurdil serta integritas pemilu. Abstract: Elections are a necessity in countries with a democratic system. The implementation of general elections itself is based on article 22E of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945 concerning the holding of general elections, it is very clear that the Central Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) and the Regional Election Supervisory Agency are not the only parties who are absolutely responsible for carrying out the function of democratic election supervision. Democratic elections also require an active role from among the community. Quality, transparent, and fair elections are the main foundation for the survival of a healthy democracy. To achieve this, election supervision education for the public plays an important role in ensuring an election process with integrity and prioritizing the principles of luber jurdil and integrity. This article discusses the importance of election supervision education and its implications in realizing the principle of luber jurdil and election integrity.
