Abstract

ABSTRAKCOVID-19 merupakan jenis virus yang dapat menyebar secara masif dan ditetapkan sebagai pandemi global. Adanya pandemi ini telah mengubah tata cara kehidupan manusia di hampir seluruh Negara. Kebiasaan menjaga protokol kesehatan dan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat perlu dilakukan oleh seluruh kalangan masyarakat. Selanjutnya, salah satu upaya Pemerintah Indonesia dalam memutus rantai COVID-19 dengan vaksinasi, namun hingga saat ini jumlah kasus aktif masih terus bertambah. Hal ini tentunya menjadi tujuan utama dari program ini untuk terus mengedukasi masyarakat dan melakukan sosialisasi akan pentingnya menjaga, perilaku hidup sehat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kaliploso kecamatan Cluring Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Adapun kegiatan ini dilakukan beberapa tahap diantaranya tahap persiapan dan pembekalan, dilanjutkan dengan praktik langsung di Balai Desa Kaliploso. Hasil pelaksanaannya adalah masyarakat setempat diberikan edukasi dan dilatih untuk membuat hand sanitizer sesuai dengan formula World Health Organization (WHO). Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu implementasi upaya pola hidup sehat dan bersih guna mencegah penyebaran COVID-19. Selain itu, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi keterampilan masyarakat Desa Kaliploso untuk membuat hand sanitizer secara mandiri. Kata kunci: COVID-19; Desa Kaliploso; Banyuwangi; hand sanitizer. ABSTRACTCOVID-19 is a type of virus that can spread through massively and is declared a global pandemic. The existence of this pandemic has changed the way of human life in almost all countries. The habit of maintaining health protocols and implementing a clean and healthy lifestyles need to be carried out by all levels of society. Furthermore, one of the efforts from Indonesian government in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission is by vaccination, but until now the number of active cases is increasing. This is certainly the main goal from this program to continue educating the public and socializing the importance of healthy living behavior. This service activity was carried out in Kaliploso Village, Cluring Sub-district, Banyuwangi Regency. This activity was done by several stages including the preparation and debriefing stage, followed by direct practice at the Kaliploso’s Village Hall. The results of implementation are local people that are given of education and trained to make hand sanitizers according to the World Health Organization (WHO). This activity is one of the implementations of a healthy and clean lifestyles to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition, this activity is expected to be a skill for the Kaliploso Village community to make hand sanitizers independently. Keywords: COVID-19; Kaliploso Village; Banyuwangi; hand sanitizer.

Abstract

ABSTRAKLimbah bersumber dari berbagai aktivitas manusia diantaranya aktivitas rumah tangga, industri, perdagangan, pertanian, perkantoran, dan sisa pembangunan. Namun aktivitas yang paling banyak menyumbang limbah adalah aktivitas rumah tangga. Pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga di desa masih dilakukan secara tradisional yaitu melalui penimbunan pada lahan kosong. Umumnya masyarakat desa menggunakan cara pembakaran untuk mengatasi penumpukan limbah tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan melalui pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga secara mandiri. Penyuluhan pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga di desa Kaliploso melibatkan 30 peserta. Penyajian materi diawali dengan memberikan stimulus terkait pengetahuan peserta terhadap limbah rumah tangga dan jenis-jenisnya, kemudian dilanjutkan penyajian materi dengan metode ceramah. Diskusi yang dilakukan setelah penyajian materi diikuti peserta dengan antusias dan menghasilkan ide baru tentang pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga secara mandiri. Hasil kegiatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dengan tingkat pemahaman 100% (30 peserta) dan menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat yang dibuktikan dengan munculnya ide percontohan pelaksana pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga jenis anorganik sebanyak 43,33% (13 peserta). Kata kunci: pengelolaan; limbah rumah tangga; desa Kaliploso ABSTRACTWaste comes from human activities such as household activities, industries, commerce, agriculture, offices, and residual of construction. But the most contributing waste is household activities. Management of household solid waste in the village is using traditional methods, by piling up on vacant land. The villagers are burning to overcome the pile. This activity aims to increase knowledge and public awareness to protect the environment through household waste management independently. Education of household waste management in Kaliploso village involves 30 participants. Presentation began by providing stimulus related to participants knowledge of definition and types of household waste, then continued with educate about household waste. The discussion was attended by participants enthusiastically and it produced new ideas about self-management of household waste. The results of this activity increase public knowledge with an understanding level of 100% (30 participants) and raise public awareness as evidenced by the emergence of pilot ideas for implementing inorganic types of household waste management as much as 43.33% (13 participants). Keywords: management; household waste, Kaliploso village

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to describe teachers’ perceptions on the importance of parenting programs in Play Groups or Kindergarten schools in Kamal District, Bangkalan.Design/methods/approach – The descriptive quantitative method is used. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the total population being all teachers at Play Group or Kindergarten schools in Kamal District, Bangkalan. The number of research samples are 35 teachers. The collecting data used is a questionnaire.Findings – The results of this study show that teachers’ perceptions on the importance of parenting programs in Play Groups or Kindergarten schools in Kamal District, Bangkalan, have the highest score in the important middle category by 48%.Research implications/limitations – This study has limitation on one independent variable, namely the teacher’s perception variable about the importance of parenting programs in schools. Practical implications – This study shows that the teachers still do not fully have a critical perception on parenting programs, and teachers have less interest in holding parenting programs in schools even though they have knowledge about parenting programs and know the benefits.Originality/value – This study hoped the teacher could move and accommodate parents to hold a parenting program in schools with teachers who have a good perception on the programs.Paper type Research paper

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang analisis filosofis terhadap harmonisasi lingkungan pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi globlalisasi. Era globalisasi semakin membawa perubahan dalam pendidikan, di mana semakin tidak ada batas dalam sistem global, sehingga pendidikan harus dapat mengharmoinisasikan perubahan sosial yang terjadi dalam lingkungannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi literatur dengan analsis data deskriptif analitis. Dari penelitian tersebut, dapat dihasilkan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa globalisasi pendidikan membawa dampak adanya kesenjangan sosial di dalam dunia pendidikan, institusi pendidikan bukan merupakan entitas yang tetap dan tidak berubah, sehingga harus dianalogikan sebagai siklus pendidikan, Untuk mewujudkan kelestarian harmonisasi lingkungan pendidikan maka dibutuhkan konsep perbaikan secara terus menerus lembaga pendidikan guna mengantisipasi perubahan lingkungan pendidikan yang begitu cepat.

Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh (online) di masa pandemi covid-19 mengharuskan guru berperan aktif dalam menyiapkan pembelajaran yang menarik, tidak membosankan, dan memahamkan bagi peserta didik. Tantangan lebih bagi guru matematika di era program merdeka belajar yaitu harus mampu menjadi fasilitator bagi peserta didik dengan melakukan inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran dikarenakan matematika menjadi pelajaran yang dianggap sulit, membosankan, dan terlalu abstrak. Oleh karena itu, salah satu cara agar matematika mudah divisualisasikan adalah melalui pembelajaran berbasis komputer. Adapun software yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan GUI-MATLAB. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyajikan media pembelajaran khususnya pelajaran matematika agar lebih menarik bagi peserta didik dengan alternatif program GUI-MATLAB. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melibatkan MGMP Matematika SMA/MA Kabupaten Banyuwangi dengan menggunakan metode penyajian materi pengantar, demonstrasi desain sederhana, praktik merancang GUI-MATLAB, dan diskusi dengan peserta. Kegiatan ini amat menarik bagi para guru matematika di era teknologi ini, dikarenakan dengan GUI-MATLAB dapat menarik bagi peserta didik, desain tampilan program dapat diatur semenarik mungkin, dan dapat memberikan pemahaman konsep matematika secara utuh. Distance learning (online) during the COVID-19 pandemic requires teachers to play an active role in preparing interesting, not boring, and understanding learning for students. More challenges for mathematics teachers in the era of independent learning programs is must be able to become facilitators for students by making learning innovations because mathematics is a subject that is considered difficult, boring, and too abstract. Therefore, one way to make mathematics easy to visualize is through computer-based learning. The software that can be used is GUI-MATLAB. This community service activity aims to improve teacher competence in presenting learning media, especially mathematics lessons to make it more attractive to students with an alternative GUI-MATLAB program. The implementation of this activity involved the Mathematics MGMP of SMA/MA Banyuwangi Regency by using introductory material presentation methods, simple design demonstrations, GUI-MATLAB designing practices, and discussions with participants. This activity is very interesting for mathematics teachers in this technological era, because the GUI-MATLAB can be attractive to students, the program display design can be arranged as attractive as possible, and can provide a complete understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Purebred chicken eggs are a staple food source commodity that is widely chosen by the community because it has an affordable price with high protein content and sufficient availability. However, even though availability of purebred chicken eggs is sufficient, there is still a problem, namely very fluctuating prices. Efforts to read these uncertain market conditions are urgently needed for decision-making by producers, consumers, and even the government, one of which is by forecasting prices. Forecasting can be used to predict future conditions by looking at trends in past conditions. This study uses Artificial Neural Network method with a feed-forward backpropagation algorithm. The purpose of this study is to determine price forecasting architecture using ANN and forecast price of purebred chicken eggs in East Java in 2024 and 2025. The research data used is monthly price of purebred chicken eggs in East Java province from 2018 to 2024. The results of study produced best architecture, 12-12-1. The resulting training Mean Square Error value was 0.00099947 with an accuracy of 98.01%, MSE of the test was 0.023797 and MAPE value was 0.164254. Based on MAPE values generated by forecasting using Artificial Neural Network, it has a good level of forecasting ability.

Abstract

This study explores the intellectual contribution of KH. Muhammad Ishomuddin Hadziq (Gus Ishom) in revitalising Islamic education at Pesantren Tebuireng through codifying literary works by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari. The research was driven by the academic neglect of these manuscripts, many of which were no longer taught at the pesantren since 1946. This study employs a qualitative historical method, combining document analysis, literature study, and in-depth interviews with family members and pesantren figures. The findings reveal that Gus Ishom systematically collected, verified, and published several of his grandfather's manuscripts—such as Adab al-'Ālim wa al-Muta'allim, al-Tibyān, and Risālah Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamā'ah—into the compilation Irsyādus Sārī. These efforts restored Tebuireng's intellectual legacy and reintroduced classical Islamic thought into the formal curriculum of Pesantrens and Islamic universities. This codification contributed to the reintegration of traditional Pesantren scholarship (turāth) into modern Islamic education, while establishing a model for contextualising classical texts. The study concludes that Gus Ishom's scholarly initiative had a transformative impact on the development of Islamic education and the intellectual identity of Pesantren Tebuireng.
