Abstract

The pulp industry processes natural organic materials, especially compounds in the lignocellulosic group, by utilizing various types of chemicals. Therefore, the pulp industry has the potential to produce hazardous and toxic liquid waste with a relatively dark color. Mediated Electrochemical Oxidation (MEO) can be applied to treat the wastewater from the pulp industry. The MEO method allows organic compounds in wastewater to be mineralized into carbon dioxide and water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the potential difference between graphite electrodes and the volume of sodium hypochlorite solution as a mediator on the efficiency of mineralization and the reduction of color intensity from pulp industry wastewater. The potential difference between the electrodes is varied at 4.5; 6.0; and 7.5 volts, while the volume of the mediator was studied at variations of 50 and 100 mL. The results showed that the highest mineralization efficiency was achieved at 82.5% when electrolysis of the MEO cell was carried out at a voltage difference of 7.5 volts and a mediator volume of 100 mL, while the highest decrease in color intensity was achieved at a cell potential difference of 4.5 volts and a mediator volume of 100 mL, with a decrease in color intensity of 61.61%.

Abstract

CHEMICAL DEGRADATION OF NAFION MEMBRANES UNDER PEMFC AS INVESTIGATED BY DFT METHOD. An exsitu method has been developed to performance of Nafion's membrane in PEMFC (Proton Electrolyt Membrane Fuel Cells), caused by the chemical degradation of ·OH and ∙H radicals. The change of the chemical structure occurring during the degradation were primarily calculated of the relative energy of reactions by DFT (Density Functional Theory) method approach in the Gaussian software. This study aims to determine whether DFT method with functional B3LYP, PBEPBE, and B3PW91 and base sets 6-311++G can be used in determining the relative energy of a reaction and knowing the difference in role between ·OH and ∙H in the degradation process of the main chain Nafion with the final group are -CF2H, -CF=CF2 and -COOH. The three functionalities applied showed that the ·OH radical has more role than the ∙H radical in the degradation process of the Nafion main chain. In the -CF2H group was shown the relative energy value of reaction 2 is lower than reaction 5, in the -CF=CF2 group was shown the relative energy value of reaction 8* is lower than reaction 11 and in the -COOH group the relative energ value of reaction 14 is lower than reaction 16. By knowing the relative energy of the Nafion main chain degradation reaction with a certain final group and the role of certain radical compounds in the degradation process, the DFT method with functional B3LYP, PBEPBE and B3PW91 and base sets 6-311++G can recommend various modifications of the Nafion as a fuel cell membrane, particularly in increasing of membrane performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem kendali dan monitoring suhu pada mesin heat press berbasis Arduino Uno, menggunakan sensor LM35 sebagai pendeteksi suhu, LCD I2C sebagai tampilan informasi, serta LED indikator dan buzzer sebagai penanda status mesin. Sistem ini dirancang agar operator tidak perlu terus-menerus memantau layar utama mesin, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja. LED merah menyala saat suhu masih dalam tahap pemanasan (<150°C), sedangkan LED hijau dan buzzer aktif berfungsi sebagai indikator kesiapan ketika suhu telah mencapai 150°C. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu memberikan informasi suhu secara real-time dan akurat. Namun, ditemukan kendala berupa fluktuasi pembacaan suhu yang menyebabkan tampilan pada LCD berubah-ubah secara cepat. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dilakukan perbaikan sistem dengan menerapkan tegangan referensi internal 1.1V pada Arduino, serta menambahkan filter rata-rata pembacaan sensor agar suhu yang ditampilkan lebih stabil. Dengan adanya sistem ini, operator dapat lebih efisien dalam bekerja tanpa harus terus-menerus memeriksa suhu secara manual. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akurasi pemantauan suhu, mengurangi kesalahan dalam proses penyablonan, serta mendukung kelancaran produksi di PT. Mansyur Jersey.

Abstract

Pungutan liar (pungli) merupakan salah satu bentuk korupsi kecil (petty corruption) yang kerap terjadi dalam pelayanan administrasi publik di Indonesia, termasuk pada sektor kependudukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab terjadinya pungli dan menganalisis efektivitas kebijakan hukum serta strategi pemberantasan petty corruption yang telah diterapkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan socio-legal research dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi lapangan, serta analisis kualitatif terhadap data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pungli terjadi secara sistemik karena adanya celah regulasi, lemahnya pengendalian internal, serta tidak optimalnya implementasi digitalisasi layanan. Meski telah ada kebijakan seperti Satgas Saber Pungli dan pendekatan restorative justice, efektivitasnya masih terbatas tanpa dukungan sistem teknologi, pelatihan etika ASN, dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi pendekatan hukum, penguatan kelembagaan, dan perubahan budaya pelayanan publik untuk memberantas pungli secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Distribusi produk sparepart yang efektif dan efisien menjadi aspek penting dalam menjaga kelancaran operasional industri, khususnya di sektor pabrik kelapa sawit. PT. Aneka Teknindo Persada sebagai perusahaan penyedia sparepart menghadapi tantangan dalam manajemen distribusi produk yang memerlukan sistem yang terintegrasi dan terencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Manajemen Supply Chain guna mengoptimalkan proses distribusi produk sparepart. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Design Science Research (DSR), yang terdiri dari enam tahapan: identifikasi masalah, pengusulan solusi, desain dan pengembangan, demonstrasi, evaluasi, dan komunikasi hasil. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu meningkatkan akurasi pengelolaan data distribusi, mempercepat pengambilan keputusan, dan meminimalkan kesalahan dalam rantai pasok. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional perusahaan.

Abstract

Manual or disconnected management of employee attendance and payroll often leads to various issues, such as data inaccuracy, process delays, and lack of efficiency in attendance recording and salary calculation. PT. Buana Citra Internusa, as a growing company, requires an integrated system capable of handling employee administration quickly and accurately. This study aims to develop a web-based employee attendance system integrated with payroll using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. RAD was chosen because it accelerates the development process through iterative and collaborative stages between developers and end-users. The system is designed to support automatic daily attendance recording and integrate it with the payroll module based on attendance data, job positions, and working hours. Key features developed include user login, employee data management, attendance recording, working hour configuration, salary calculation, and payroll reporting. System testing was carried out using the black-box method to ensure all functions operate as expected. The development results show that the system significantly improves the efficiency of attendance and payroll management compared to previous methods. It also provides easier access, data transparency, and reduces the potential for human error. With this system, PT. Buana Citra Internusa can carry out employee administrative processes more effectively and in a more controlled manner
