Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara bertahan hidup mahasiswa perantau penerima beasiswa KIP-Kuliah Universitas Megarezky di kota Makassar dan faktor pendorong dan faktor penghambat Strategi Bertahan Hidup Mahasiswa Perantau Penerima Beasiswa KIP-Kuliah. Jenis penelitian ini dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan jumlah informan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 10 dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan cara observasi lansung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa cara bertahan hidup mahasiswa perantau penerima beasiswa KIP-Kuliah Universitas Megarezky di kota Makassar mengelola, melakukan mengurangi pengeluaran dan membiasakan hidup hemat dan jaringan sosial, seperti teman, kelas dan keluarga yang dapat memberikan material setiap individu yang membutuhkan, sedangkan faktor pendorong dengan adanya beasiswa KIP-Kuliah ini dapat meringankan biaya kuliah mahasiswa yang melanjutkan perguruan tinggi, dan faktor penghambat, rasa rindu terhadap orang tua dan kesulitan penyesuaian.

Abstract

The Kajang people are known for their lives based on traditional values, traditional beliefs, and distinctive local wisdom. They are here to preserve traditions amidst the blows of globalization. With this local wisdom, researchers are interested in analyzing the social construction of the Kajang traditional community to maintain their local wisdom. This research used a qualitative approach through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and data analysis using grounded theory analysis techniques. The research results show that the Kajang indigenous community faced challenges in maintaining their local wisdom amidst social changes and external influences. However, with its social construction, it maintained local wisdom through externalization, objectivation, and internalization processes. With this social construction approach, the Kajang traditional community can show resilience and initiative to preserve local wisdom and strengthen social ties between community members. This research will not only provide new insights into the local wisdom of the Kajang people in efforts to preserve culture, community development, and policy development in Indonesia.

Abstract

The study describes the students thinking skill, and metacognitive in problem solving reasoning (PSR) learning model at SMAN 19 Makassar in the academic year 2018/2019. The design of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) in which subject was students social science eleventh grade students that consisted of 69 students. Data were collected by using a problem-solving reasoning tests in the form of multiple choice, essay, oral and practice tests. Data of problem solving reasoning (PSR) abilities were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study show that: (1) The application of problem solving reasoning (PSR) can improve the statistical students metacognitive of social science eleventh grade students. In cycle I, the students English outcomes average reached 59.2, whereas in cycle II was successfully increased into 84.8, In cycle I, the students sociology and anthropology outcomes average reached 60.9, whereas in cycle II was successfully increased into 88.5 and in cycle I, the students Art and Culture outcomes average reached 62.3, whereas in cycle II was successfully increased into 86.9. (2) The application of problem solving reasoning (PSR) can improve students' metacognitive of social science XI grade students. These results indicate that there has been an increasing in percentage mastery learning by 20% from cycle I to cycle II.
