Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest multicultural countries in the world. This reality can be seen through the diverse and extensive socio-cultural and geographical conditions. This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) instructional model for the multicultural education. This research used qualitative and quantitative methods. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and literature study. The results showed that multicultural education can be used as a strategic instrument to develop awareness of one's pride in one's ethnic group. Multicultural education is also very relevant to a pluralistic society such as Indonesia, which emphasizes an understanding of multi-ethnicity, multi-religion, and multiculturalism which requires a new construction of justice, equality and a democratic society. The application of integrative multicultural education can use a cooperative learning model, namely the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) linstructional model and the application of multicultural education in an integrated curriculum with other subjects such as in the Sociology Education program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the lives of out-of-school children in adolescents in Balantang Village, Malili District, East Luwu Regency. How is the life of out-of-school teenagers in Balntang Village, Malili District, East Luwu Regency? Why do teenagers of productive age in Balantang Village, Malili Subdistrict, East Luwu Regency choose to drop out of school? This study uses a qualitative approach. The main informants consisted of children who had dropped out of school as many as 9 people and the key information consisted of school principals, parents and 4 community leaders. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, respondent observations and available documents and literature study. Using data reduction analysis, data presentation and data validity of researcher bending, triangulation, time extension, Focus Group Discussion. In-depth analysis. The results showed that children who dropped out of school were caused by many factors, including family, peers, economy, living environment, school environment. The conclusion of the research is that children who drop out of school and are unemployed have two behaviors: 1. Negative behavior such as hanging out, drinking alcohol, fighting between teenagers, forming gangs. Positive behaviors such as helping people earn a living, and choosing their own jobs

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mengapa kecenderungan gaya hidup remaja bisa terjadi Di Desa Goreng Meni Kecamatan Lamba Leda Kabupaten Manggarai Timur era globalisasi dan apa dampak yang ditimbulkan dari perubahan gaya hidup remaja Di Desa Goreng Meni Kecamatan Lamba Leda Kabupaten Manggarai Timur Di Era Globalisasi. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan informan remaja sebagai informan utama dan orang tua remaja sebagai informan pendukung, dan ketua adat sebagai informan kunci. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan secara kualitatif yaitu data yang diperoleh kemudian disusun secara sistematis kemudian dianalisa secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan bahwa kecenderungan gaya hidup remaja disebabkan oleh adanya hasil pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh individu dengan perilaku orang lain sehingga apa yang dihasilkan dari pembelajaranya memberikan rangsangan terhadap diri individu tersebut untuk meniru gaya hidup individu yang lain. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari perubahan gaya hidup seperti dampak positif dan dampak negative. Dampak positifnya seperti memudahkan seseorang untuk berkomunikasi dengan orang lain dan mudah mendapatkan informasi, sedangkan dampak negatifnya adalah hilangnya nilai kesopanan dan budaya tradisional dalam diri renaja saat ini.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pengemudi ojek online perempuan dalam membantu perekonomian keluarga di masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kecamatan Rappocini kota Makassar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Teknik penentuan informan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan yaitu 20 orang terdiri dari (1) Pengemudi ojek online Grab perempuan sebanyak 15 orang, (2) Pihak perusahaan (ketua komunitas Grab Makassar) sebanyak 2 orang, dan (3) Masyarakat pengguna jasa sebanyak 3 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik Analisis data yaitu (1) reduksi data (data reduction); (2) penyajian data (data display); dan (3) penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga di masa pandemi, para pengemudi melakukan berbagai peran dengan  mengambil beberapa layanan yaitu (1) layanan GrabBike yang merupakan layanan kendaraan roda dua pengantaran penumpang ke tempat tujuan, (2) layanan GrabFood yang merupakan layanan pengantaran makanan yang diambil dari restoran, (3) layanan GrabExpress yaitu layanan pengantaran barang atau paket, (4) layanan GrabMart merupakan layanan pengantaran barang belanjaan yang diambil oleh driver di toko, (5) layanan GrabExpress Nalangin merupakan layanan cash on delivery (COD) dimana driver membayarkan barang terlebih dahulu di penjual kemudian mengantarkan barang tersebut ke pembeli dan kemudian mengantarkan barang tersebut ke pembeli.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the from of community empowerment on ecotourism potential in the coastal tourism area, and the strategic impact of community empowerment on ecotourism potential in the coastal tourism area of Alor District in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research by determining the number of informants consisting of 10 informants selected by purposive sampling technique with the criteria of informants from the local government and the people living in Alor Regency. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used by the researcher went through three stages of work, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validation techniques used were source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study show that 1) the from of community empowerment in ecotourism potential is by introducing and disseminating the concept of ecotourism openly to the community to foster an understanding of ecotourism from community empowerment it self, as well as marketing and tourism promotion by assisting tourism activities and business capital assistance, 2) the strategic impact of community empowerment on ecotourism potential in coastal tourism area, namely the socio-economic and cultural impact. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata di kawasan wisata pantai dan dampak strategis pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata di kawasan wisata pantai Kabupaten Alor Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan penentuan jumlah informan terdiri dari 10 informan yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria informan masyarakat pesisir dan pemerintah setempat di Kabupaten Alor. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti melalui tiga tahapan kerja yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengabsahaan data yang digunakan yakni triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata dengan memperkenalkan dan mensosialisasikan konsep ekowisata secara terbuka kepada masyarakat untuk menumbuhkan pemahaman tentang ekowisata dari pemberdayaan masyarakat itu sendiri, serta pemasaran dan promosi wisata dengan pendampingan kegiatan pariwisata dan bantuan modal usaha. 2) dampak strategis yang ditimbulkan dari pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata di kawasan wisata pantai yakni dampak ekonomi, dan sosial budaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana esensi pembelajaran daring di era new normal SMA Negeri 12 Makassar, untuk mengetahui problematika pembelajaran daring di era new normal SMA Negeri 12 Makassar, dan untuk mengetahui dampak dari adanya esensi pembelajaran daring di era new normal SMA Negeri 12 Makassar. Peneliti ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan informan siswa SMA Negeri 12 Makassar yang mengalami proses pembelajaran daring di era new normal, guru SMA Negeri 12 Makassar, dan kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 12 Makassar. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen kunci adalah peneliti sendiri. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.             Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa esensi pembelajaran daring di era new normal SMA Negeri 12 Makassar menggunakan media pembelajaran yaitu Whatsapp Group, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, esensi pembelajaran daring di era new normal SMA Negeri 12 Makassar telah diberlakukan sekolah online atau belajar dirumah untuk mewaspadai penyebaran wabah Covid-19 di lingkungan sekolah SMA Negeri 12 Makassar. Problematika pembelajaran daring di era new normal SMA Negeri 12 Makassar yaitu mengalami problematika dalam proses belajar mengajar. Pembelajaran daring tidak langsung berjalan dengan baik semacam yang diharapkan oleh banyak orang. Adapun yang menjadi dampak dari adanya esensi pembelajaran daring di era new normal SMA Negeri 12 Makassar, dampak positifnya, siswa mengerjakan tugas di rumah tanpa harus ke sekolah, siswa lebih kreatif dan mandiri, komunikasi dengan siswa lebih cepat. Sedangkan dampak negatifnya, masalah dengan kuota internet, siswa jadi lebih sering memegang HP, siswa sering menyepelekan dan menganggap remeh dari pembelajaran daring ini.

Abstract

AbstractPenerapan Model Pembelajaran Reciprpcal Teaching untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Bangkala III Kota Makasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada Kemampuan membaca penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching di kelas IV SD Inpres Bangkala III kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes, dandokumentasi. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I dan II. Dimana pada siklus I Kemampuan Membaca siswa dengan nilai rata-rata pada 60–100 dengan presentasi 62,25% dengan kategori Cukup. Sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat Kemampuan Membca siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 60-100 presentasi 82,75% berada pada kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian dapatdisimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dapat meningkatkan Kemampuan membaca Pemahaman Pada siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Bangkala III Kota Makassar.Kata-kata kunci: model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching, kemampuan membaca.

Abstract

Pesta sekolah or known wuat wa’I ritual is a form to support and the togetherness from the Manggarai community to help others who have difficulties in funding their son and girl in education. The purpose of this research is to find out why the wuat wa’I ritual culture has been survive until now in Golo Lebo Village. The research used qualitative type in a descriptive approach. Determination of informants in this study using snowball sampling technique. The symbol used during the event (prayer) is to slaughter a white chicken as an offering. The meat was eaten together and the inside is put in a container and then given to the ancestors as a symbol that they are also present at the ceremony and always guide the prospective nomad, and that hope can be symbolized by the expression lalong bakok du lakom lalong rombeng du kolem which means to go with a hope that the return will bring success. And if they finished college later, a thanksgiving event will also be held by slaughtering a black chicken as an expression of gratitude and gratitude to God and the ancestors who had protected and guided them while completing their studies in out of their land. In wuat wa'i ritual in an attitude of solidarity is manifested which is not hindered by certain forms of diversity. All community groups are present together to help the parties concerned. As conclusion that Wuat wa'i is very well known by the wider community in Manggarai. Because it is not told orally and handed down from generation to generation, but all people, from young children to adults are always involved in the wuat wa'i event.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the increase in sociological learning activities of students by applying the Time Token type Cooperative learning technique, this type of research used classroom action research (CAR), the subject of this research was class XI Social Science 1 students of SMA Negeri 10 Makassar, The total numbers of students were 29 students. Data were obtained through observation sheets of students’ activities during group work presentations from cycle I to cycle II, data analysis was carried out using scores based on reference assessments. Data shows that there is an increase in student learning activities after applying the Time Token Cooperative learning model. In class XI Ips1 students at SMA Negeri 10 Makassar, in cycle I 78.6 and cycle II 82.7. The conclusion of this study is that by applying the Cooperative Learning model of Time Token type, it can increase the sociology learning activities of students in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 10 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of socio-economic status on the performance at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi, Gowa Regency. This study uses a correlational with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was SMP Negeri 2 Parigi teachers in Gowa Regency, totaling 18 teachers, Collection technique data by questionnaire. Data processing techniques using SPSS t test, namely for looking for a correlation between the variables X and Y. In calculating the hypothesis obtained value Sig 0.031. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. These results indicate that the Sig value is less than 0.05 (0.031 less than 0.05). This means that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted, namely there is positive and significant influence in the study entitled "Status Influence Socio-Economy on the Performance of Economics Teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Parigi can be tested the truth. Thus it can be concluded that socioeconomic status is very influential and significant on teacher performance. In the sense that this research able to answer the truth of the hypothesis proposed.
