Abstract

Background: Hedgehog Interacting Protein (HHIP) gene polymorphisms have an association on COPDhas been carried out in Europe and Asia but in Indonesia there is still very limited study on this type andthe largest ethnic group in Indonesia is the Javanese. Objective: To analyze the association between theHHIP gene polymorphism and the incidence of COPD in male Javanese smokers in Lampung, Indonesia.Method: In a case-control study in Javanese male smokers, three single nucleotide polymorphism (SNPs)in the HHIP gene were analyzed by Sanger sequencing method. There were 110 participants in this studywhich were divided into 2 groups, such as COPD group (55 participants) and control group (55 participants).Three SNPs in the gene (rs13118928, rs1828591 and rs10519717) were selected for genotyping. Genotypedistributions were compared between patients and controls. The statistical analysis was carried out with theSPSS program with a chi-square test. Result: The genotypic frequency of the HHIP gene sequence at theSNP position rs1828591, such as AA (52.72%), GG (3.63%) and AG (43.63%) in COPD group, while inthe control group such as AA (38.18%), GG (9.09%) and GG (52.72%; p > 0.05). The genotypic frequencyof the HHIP gene sequence at the SNP position rs13118928 consisted of AA (47.27%) and AG (53.72%)in the control group, while the COPD group consisted of AA (52.72%), GG (1.81%) and AG (45.45%; p> 0.05). The genotypic frequency of the HHIP gene sequence at the SNP position rs10519717 consistedof TT (34.54%), CC (14.56%) and CT (50.90%) in COPD group, while controls group consisted of TT(23.63%), CC (16.37%) and CT (60.00%; p > 0.05). The genotypic analysis of Three SNPs in HHIP genewere observed but showed no significant difference between case and control groups. Conclusion: Singlenucleotidevariants in the HHIP gene are not associated with COPD susceptibility in Javanese male smokers.

Abstract

Identitas rumah dalam sebuah desa merupakan aspek penting dalam tata kelola administrasi desa. Salah satu bentuk nyata identitas rumah ini adalah plat nomor rumah. Hal ini tentunya sangat berfungsi sebagai penanda alamat rumah masyarakat serta dapat mempermudah pendataan dan pelayanan publik di suatu desa. Seiring perkembangan zaman terjadi pertambahan jumlah penduduk yang berdampak pada bertambahnya bangunan tempat tinggal dan juga masih belum memiliki nomor rumah serta pembaharuan nomor rumah. Sehingga tujuan pengabdian ini untuk melakukan revitalisasi plat nomor rumah di Desa Kupang Baru yang merupakan bentuk kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dengan membantu memberikan penanda alamat rumah baru dan pembaharuan untuk kondisi lama. Agar mempermudah pendataan dan pelayanan publik serta meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam identifikasi rumah. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi dan pengumpulan data rumah yang perlu dilakukan pemberian plat nomor rumah. Hasilnya data rumah di Desa Kupang baru yang belum mendapatkan nomor rumah sejumlah 185 rumah warga, terdiri dari 58 rumah di RT 1, 76 rumah di RT 2, dan 50 rumah di RT 3. Tim KKN selaku pengabdian melakukan revitalisasi plat nomor rumah 1-1,5 hari. Respon warga desa Kupang Baru terkait penomoran rumah ini sangat antusias karena terbantu dalam memberikan identitas lengkap mengenai alamat rumahnya. Kesimpulannya revitalisasi penomoran rumah menghasilkan suatu program kerja yang manfaatnya langsung dirasakan masyarakat dan terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze local pandan woven products in West Sumatra, especially Sijunjung Regency, into a more modern product innovation form through strategic design. Pandanus weaving has a long history and strong cultural value but faces challenges such as declining demand due to shifting market preferences and competition from manufactured goods. Using a qualitative and explorative approach through the "Design Strategy" method, this research focuses on integrating natural and synthetic materials by combining pandanus weaving with synthetic leather to create functional, aesthetic, and commercial products. The study explores weaving techniques fused with synthetic materials, resulting in unique colors and characteristics from both the pandanus weave and the synthetic leather. This reveals the potential of pandanus weaving to be applied in product prototypes that cater to market preferences while preserving regional cultural identity. The innovation is expected to not only enhance the competitiveness of pandanus weaving products in the modern market but also introduce design novelty in functional products through material integration. Moreover, it supports the sustainability of the local creative economy and reintroduces the uniqueness of this cultural heritage to a wider audience. The research method involves observation, surveys, and studies of pandanus weaving artisans’ practices, followed by exploration of weaving pattern integration as the main material. The application and assembly technique of synthetic leather to the pandanus weave patterns in various functional product types lead to product innovation.

Abstract

Program pelatihan kepada masyarakat di Kota Payakumbuh ini merupakan bagian dari fungsi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, yakni pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Program ini memberikan pelatihan kepada ibu-ibu yang ada di Kota Payakumbuh, yang di inisiasi oleh Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Perindustrian Kota Payakumbuh, bekerjasama dengan Canting Buana Kreatif (salah satu dosen di Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang). Canting Buana merupakan salah satu tempat pelatihan membatik yang ada di Nagari Bukik Surungan Padangpanjang. Kegiatan ini berupa workshop ecoprint dari tanggal 22 sampai 25 April 2025 yang lalu. Kegiatan tersebut dalam rangka pembinaan IKM di sektor Industri Sandang dan Kerajinan, khususnya industri ecoprint di wilayalah Kota Payakumbuh. Kegiatan dimaksud, agar ibu-ibu peserta pelatihan mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagaimana menghasilkan kain ecoprint. Hal ini yang secara tidak langsung dapat meningkatkan taraf ekonomi peserta pelatihan nantinya, karena kain yang dihasilkan pada dasarnya bernilai jual ekonomi yang tingggi. Pelatihan ini mengajarkan teknik ecoprint dengan teknik pounding dan kukus, dengan memanfaatkan kekayaan alam yang ada diluaran sana, tanpa mempergunakan bahan kimia sedikitpun, sehingga alam tetap lestari apa adanya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan meja kopi dari bonggol jagung sebagai material utama, dirancang untuk interior teras kabin di kawasan wisata edukasi Ciwidey, Jawa Barat. Proyek ini merupakan inisiatif PT. Matahati Kreasi Nusantara untuk mengoptimalkan limbah pertanian menjadi produk fungsional dan berkelanjutan. Pemilihan bonggol jagung didasari ketersediaan melimpah, sifat alami, estetika unik, dan prinsip ramah lingkungan. Produk ini tak hanya fungsional dan menarik secara visual, tetapi juga edukatif tentang daur ulang dan keberlanjutan bagi pengunjung. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah design thinking, meliputi tahap empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tinjauan literatur, dan analisis kompetitor. Hasilnya adalah prototipe meja kopi silinder yang dibuat dengan teknik bending laminasi dan dirancang ergonomis. Meskipun bonggol jagung menawarkan keunggulan visual dan efisiensi biaya, tantangan teknis seperti waktu pengeringan panjang, risiko deformasi, dan kekuatan struktural yang lebih rendah perlu diatasi. Strategi pemrosesan optimal dan kombinasi dengan kayu jati esensial untuk stabilitas produk.

Abstract

Telanaipura Sector Police is the Republic of Indonesia's Police command structure at the sub-district level in Jambi Province. In the criminal investigation department, the telecommunication sector in processing criminal data is still done manually assisted with Microsoft Word so that the processing of the data has not been properly processed in order to carry out data analysis, evaluation and profiling of data on the increasing number and extent of crime. extensively. The aim of reducing crime rates is that it needs to be built web-based applications and tested using WEKA applications to help process and analyze data using data mining techniques using the decision tree method. In analyzing the data using the age, time, place of occurrence, crime decision tree as an attribute of the case and article theft as a class. In making this prediction application, the PHP and HTML programming languages ​​are used. And using databases using MYSQL and in analyzing using Microsoft Excel and WEKA. The data inputted is in the form of data on the offender, violation data and admin data. The attributes that are inputted in the WEKA application are attributes of age, time, place of occurrence, and crime and articles of violation as a class. The output generated from the WEKA application is in the form of rules or rules from the decision tree while the output generated by the web-based prediction interface results in article violation classes and generates reports on the perpetrator's actions, the number of crimes, crimes per period and per violation article. With the Mining Data Prediction Interface Criminal Classification on the Police of the Jambi Telecommunication Sector Using the Decision Tree Method Can Help the Telanaipura Jambi Sector Police in evaluating and profiling criminal offenders.
