Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam proses pengembangan kawasan pariwisata, pengembang tidak hanya dituntut untuk menyiapkan fasilitas pariwisata, namun sumberdaya manusianya harus didukung keterampilan dalam penanganan awal pada cedera atau trauma. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah simulasi tentang pertolongan pertama pada kasus trauma dengan mnemonic SAMBAS dengan menggunakan bantuan leaflet. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat didapatkan data terjadi peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat sebelum dan setelah disimulasikan tentang pertolongan pertama pada kasus trauma dengan Mnemonic SAMBAS. Peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat tentang pertolongan pertama pada kasus trauma menjadi upaya penanganan kondisi gawat darurat yang berkaitan dengan kasus trauma. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan, Pertolongan Pertama, Trauma, Mnemonic SAMBAS  ABSTRACT In the process of developing tourism areas, developers are not only required to prepare tourism facilities, but their human resources must be supported by skills in the initial handling of injury or trauma. The method of implementing community service is a simulation of first aid in trauma cases with the SAMBAS mnemonic using leaflets. The results of community service obtained data on the improvement of community skills before and after simulation of first aid in trauma cases with SAMBAS mnemonic. Abstract

ABSTRAK Ginjal berfungsi sebagai penyaring darah serta menjaga keseimbangan cairan dan elektrolit dalam tubuh. Apabila fungsi tersebut tidak berjalan maka munculah penyakit gagal ginjal. Pencegahan awal penyakit gagal ginjal penting dilakukan sejak dini pada anak maupun remaja, untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang baik tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan ginjal. Memberikan pengetahuan pada remaja tentang pencegahan gagal ginjal kronik. Kegiatan edukasi dilakukan di Desa Temajuk, Kab. Sambas yang diikuti oleh kelompok remaja. Pre-test diberikan sebelum edukasi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemberian materi tentang pencegahan penyakit gagal ginjal kronik menggunakan media power point. Kegiatan diakhiri dengan pemberian pos-test kepada responden. Sebelum diberikan edukasi, sebagian besar pengetahuan responden rendah (43,3%), dan setelah diberikan edukasi sebagian besar pengetahuan responden tinggi (83,3%). Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pada kelompok remaja setelah diberikan edukasi tentang pencegahan gagal ginjal kronik. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Gagal Ginjal Kronik, Remaja  ABSTRACT The kidneys function as blood filters and regulate the normal balance of fluids and electrolytes in the body. If that function fails, renal failure will occur. Comprehensive prevention of kidney failure should begin in childhood and adolescence providing knowledge and comprehension regarding the significance of protecting renal health. To educate adolescents about the prevention of chronic kidney failure. The educational activity took place in Temajuk Village, Sambas Regency, with the participation of a group of adolescents. A pre-test was administered before to the educational session, which was succeeded by a presentation on the prevention of chronic kidney disease utilising Powerpoint media. The session ended with the distribution of a post-test to the participants. Prior to the educational intervention, a majority of respondents exhibited low knowledge (43.3%), however subsequent to the intervention, a majority demonstrated good knowledge (83.3%). The adolescent group exhibited an enhancement in knowledge following education on the prevention of chronic renal failure. Keywords: Chronic Kidney Failure, Non-Communicable Diseases

Abstract

ABSTRACT Hypertension is still one of the problems in the world. Hypertension cannot be cured but prevented as early as possible. One of the early preventions of hypertension is an early assessment using a scoring system in predicting hypertension in the form of Early Detection of Hypertension Score. This system was then developed for the community in the form of a pocket book. To determine the effectiveness of EDH (Early Detection Score) pocket book in increasing public knowledge about hypertension in Pontianak City. Quasy Experimental using one group pretest posttest. The sampling technique is non probability sampling with quota sampling method with a total of 100 respondents. Statistical analysis using wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the study, the value of p = 0.000 was obtained, indicating that there was a change in knowledge after being given the EDH pocket book intervention. EDH pocket book can increase people's knowledge about hypertension. Keywords: Hypertension, EDH Pocket Guide, Knowledge  ABSTRAK Hipertensi masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan di dunia. Hipertensi tidak dapat disembuhkan melainkan dicegah sedini mungkin. Salah satu pencegahan hipertensi secara dini berupa penilaian awal menggunakan sistem skoring dalam memprediksi hipertensi berupa Early Detection of Hypertension Score. Sistem ini kemudian dikembangkan untuk masyarakat dalam bentuk buku saku. Mengetahui efektivitas buku saku EDH (Early Detection Score) dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit hipertensi di Kota Pontianak. Quasy Experimental menggunakan one group pretest posttest. Adapun teknik sampling yaitu non probability sampling dengan metode kuota sampling dengan jumlah responden 100 orang. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai p=0,000 yang menunjukkan terdapat perubahan pengetahuan setelah diberikan intervensi buku saku EDH. Abstract

ABSTRACT Traffic injuries are one of the leading causes of disability and death among children worldwide. This high mortality rate is caused by the low knowledge and skills of first aiders in providing first aid in accident cases. Therefore, a learning process is needed to improve knowledge and skills by using the SAMBAS mnemonic learning module media. Knowing the effectiveness of the mnemonic sambas learning module in improving knowledge and skills in performing first aid in traffic accidents. Quasy Experimental used one group pretest posttest. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with a quota sampling method with a total of 30 respondents. Statistical analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the study, the p value = 0.000 indicates that there is a change in knowledge after being given the intervention and the p value = 0.000 also explains that there are changes in skills after being given the SAMBAS mnemonic learning module. The SAMBAS mnemonic learning module can improve knowledge and skills in performing first aid in traffic accident cases. Keywords: Module, Mnemonic SAMBAS, Knowledge, Skills  ABSTRAK Cedera lalu lintas menjadi salah satu penyebab utama kecacatan dan kematian anak-anak di dunia. Tingginya angka kematian ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan penolong pertama dalam memberikan pertolongan pertama pada kasus kecelakaan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan menggunakan media modul pembelajaran mnemonic SAMBAS.  Mengetahui efektivitas modul pembelajaran mnemonic sambas dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam melakukan pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan lalu lintas. Quasy Experimental menggunakan one group pretest posttest. Abstract

Out-Of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) Is A Condition That Often Threatens A Person's Life. Of The Many Events Of Cardiac Arrest, Only A Few Victims Can Survive. This Condition Is Related To The Low Rate Of First Aid For Cardiac Arrest In The Community And The Speed Of Health Workers Can Reach The Scene. This Condition Arises Because First Responders Lack Confidence In Performing First Aid In Cardiac Arrest. This Study Aims To Analytic The Effectiveness Of Cardiac Arrest First Aid Training With The SELAMAT Model For Self-Efficacy The People Of Pontianak City. This Study Used A Quasi-Experimental Research With A Pretest-Posttest Approach With A Control Group. The Intervention And Control Groups Each Consisted Of 30 People. The Instruments Used Are Questionnaires And Statistical Tests Using Marginal Homogeneity. The Results Showed That Cardiac Arrest First Aid Training With The SELAMAT Model Was Effective In Increasing The Self-Efficacy Of The People In Pontianak City With P Value 0.000. The "SELAMAT" Model Training Is One Of The Training Models That Can Increase The Community's Self-Efficacy In Providing First Aid For Cardiac Arrest.

Abstract

End-stage renal disease is a global health problem that impacts quality of life and high treatment costs, second only to cardiovascular disease. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the SADAR (Semangat mengAtas dan Sinyal Ancaman Risiko) educational video on efforts to reduce the risk of CKD in the Banjar Sarasan Health Center area, East Pontianak. A quasi-experimental design with a control group was used 44 subjects with hypertension or type II diabetes mellitus who were at risk of developing CKD. The subjects were divided into two groups selected accidentally. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that the SADAR video (p-value=0,000) and lectures (p=0,000) were both effective in increasing public knowledge about CKD risk detection. The Mann-Whitney test showed that the SADAR video was more effective (p-value=0,015; mean rank=26,77:18,23) than lectures. Further research is needed to evaluate the long-term effectiveness and accessibility of knowledge about CKD risk detection.

Abstract

Stroke is the second leading cause of death and a major source of disability worldwide. Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are major risk factors for stroke. Anxiety can worsen the condition of patients with hypertension and diabetes mellitus, which can increase the risk of stroke. Music intervention is one of the non-pharmacological measures that can reduce anxiety. This study aimed to analyze the effect of music intervention on anxiety in high risk stroke groups in the Banjar Serasan Health Center working area. The research design used was pretest posttest without control group. The population in this study consisted of patients with hypertension and diabetes mellitus at Banjar Serasan Health Center. The sample size was 30 subjects Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) instrument consisting of 14 statements was used to measure anxiety. Bivariate analysis was concted using a paired t-test. The results showed a p-value of 0,000 which indicated that there was an effect of music intervention on anxiety in the high risk stroke group. Music intervention affected anxiety in high risk stroke group. Patients with hypertension and diabetes mellitus as a high risk group for stroke are advised to keep doing music intervention independently to control anxiety.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an irreversible condition associated with increased morbidity and mortality rates, typically arising as a consequence of diabetes mellitus and hypertension. The height of management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is hemodialysis therapy. Hemodialysis is provided to individuals with CKD necessitating long-term or permanent treatment. Patients with chronic kidney disease getting hemodialysis have to keep up with fluid management protocols. This study aims to ascertain the correlation between the duration of hemodialysis and adherence to fluid dietary restrictions in chronic kidney disease patients. The cross-sectional study design attempts to ascertain the correlation between the length of hemodialysis and adherence to a fluid diet in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The study population includes cognitively intact CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis, with total sampling. The chi-square test was used for data analysis. The analysis, with a p-value of 0.000, indicates a correlation between the duration of hemodialysis and fluid diet adherence in chronic kidney disease patients receiving hemodialysis. Regular and continuous hemodialysis therapy affects patients' compliance with fluid dietary restrictions. Keywords: CKD, Compliance, Duration of Hemodialysis, Fluid Diet  ABSTRAK Penyakit GGK tidak dapat disembuhkan dan memiliki morbiditas serta mortalitas tinggi yang umumnya merupakan komplikasi dari penyakit diabetes melitus dan hipertensi. Penanganan akhir kondiri dari GGK adalah terapi hemodialisis. Hemodialisis dilakukan pada pasien GGK yang membutuhkan terapi jangka panjang atau terapi permanen. Pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisa diharuskan untuk patuh dalam melakukan manajemen cairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lama hemodialisa dengan kepatuhan diet cairan pada pasien GGK. Desain penelitian cross sectional untuk mengetahui hubungan lama hemodialisa dengan kepatuhan diet cairan pada pasien GGK. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisa, kesadaran composmentis dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan nilai p-value 0,000 yang artinya terdapat hubungan lama hemodialisa terhadap kepatuhan diet cairan pada pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisa. Terapi hemodialisa yang dilakukan secara rutin dan terus menerus berdampak kepada kepatuhan pasien dalam melakukan diet cairan.   Kata Kunci: Diet Cairan, GGK, Kepatuhan, Lama Hemodialisa

Abstract

ABSTRACT Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is still a global public health problem. The chances of survival after an attack can be increased if cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is performed as soon as possible. However, the average response time of healthcare workers after a call for help is >6 minutes. Implementation of early resuscitation by bystanders is needed to keep victims alive while emergency personnel are on the way.  To prepare and develop an information system and learning administration as a learning medium for the community as lay helpers, especially about first aid for cardiac arrest victims.    This study used a quasi-experimental design. A total of 33 respondents were involved in this study who were selected accidentally. Respondents in this study were the people of Pontianak City. The results showed that the Learning Information and Administration System was proven to be effective in increasing the Knowledge of Pontianak City Community about cardiac arrest first aid (p = 0.000). Further studies are needed to measure the long-term effectiveness of the training and information system implemented, as well as to evaluate its effect on the survival rate of cardiac arrest victims. Keywords: Basic Life Support, Cardiac Arrest, Learning Management System  ABSTRAK Serangan jantung di luar rumah sakit saat ini masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat global. Kemungkinan bertahan hidup setelah serangan dapat meningkat jika dilakukannya resusitasi jantung paru (RJP) sesegera mungkin. Sedangkan, kenyataanya rerata waktu respon petugas kesehatan setelah mendapat panggilan bantuan >6 menit. Penerapan resusitasi awal oleh orang yang berada disekitar korban dibutuhkan untuk menajaga korban bertahan hidup ketika petugas darurat sedang dalam perjalanan. Menyiapkan dan mengembangkan system informasi dan administrasi pembelajaran sebagai media pembelajaran bagi masyarakat selaku penolong awam, khususnya tentang pertolongan pertama korban henti jantung.  Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen. Sebanyak 33 responden terlibat dalam penelitian ini yang dipilih secara accidental. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah Masyarakat Kota Pontianak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Informasi dan Administrasi Pembelajaran terbukti efketif meningkatkan Pengetahuan Masyarakat Kota Pontianak tentang pertolongan pertama henti jantung (p= 0,000). Perlunya studi lanjutan untuk mengukur efektivitas jangka panjang dari pelatihan dan sistem informasi yang diterapkan, serta untuk mengevaluasi pengaruhnya terhadap angka kelangsungan hidup korban serangan jantung. Kata Kunci: Bantuan Hidup Dasar, Henti Jantung, Sistem Informasi Pembelajaran

Abstract

The Indonesian government has declared COVID-19 as endemic, marking the end of the pandemic phase. However, efforts to control and prevent severe disease continue through routine COVID-19 immunization. Coverage for the second primary dose and booster remains below target. This study aims to evaluate the effect of an e-module on COVID-19 immunization knowledge among residents of Pontianak City. A quasi-experimental design with a control group was used. Forty-four participants were selected through accidental sampling and divided into two groups: 22 in the intervention group (e-module) and 22 in the control group (leaflet). Wilcoxon test results showed both the e-module (p-value = 0,000) and the leaflet (p-value = 0,001) significantly improved participants’ knowledge. The Mann-Whitney test (p-value = 0,039; mean rank = 26,1 vs. 18,8) indicated the e-module was more effective than the leaflet. E-module evaluation was conducted after three days of self-learning. Further studies are recommended to assess long-term knowledge retention and accessibility through digital learning tools on COVID-19 immunization.
